Bally's Las Vegas Hotel & Casino

I love staying there ... It is the middle of all the action ... I would stay there again.. The price and location is the best ...

The location is, certainly, good.

The hotel needs refurbishment. The room facilities are obviously dated and old. The bath tub releases water half from the valve, half from the shower head, lossing a huge amount of water and the causing uncomfort when showing. A light bulb didn't work, and it means the staff didn't check it before a customer moved in. Should money be invested more, this is still a great hotel, both in size and in reputation.

I can honestly say, I had a very enjoyable stay at the hotel. The front reception staff was extremely nice and helpful. The type of room that I had requested was not available at the time I checked-in, so they gave me a free upgrade to a bigger room. All in all, the rooms, hotel & elevator lobbies, pool area were clean and orderly. I have already recommended my friends on FB to go to Bally's by taking pictures of the hotel & rooms.

Only bad thing was the balcony door was broken and unable to open to enjoy the outdoor feeling. If you get the upgrade, you should get to open the balcony door. But I can't complain since it was a free upgrade and being able to look out the big doors is enough. Not the fault of Bally's but I got scared out of my life in the middle of the night, after 4-5 explosions right out my balcony in the middle of the night. Recorded the end of a building collapse, found out the next day, it was the demolition of a garage. Maybe the hotels should post signs next to demolition areas to let their guests know ahead of time.

Location was good.

We wanted to gamble more, but Bally's casino was relatively small and our favorite game, blackjack, only paid 6 to 5 for blackjacks, so we gambled mostly elsewhere. Since Vegas casinos seem to be showing more greed in gaming percentages, we will probably not visit Vegas for gambling anymore.

It was centrally located to many attractions.

Check out was a long line and a 20 minute wait.

Be careful when you leave: they add Extra fee for no reason at all (they took $60 more automatically on my account without any explanation.And of course it is not for drinks from fridge)

Our room was huge, much larger than expected. The bathroom had a bath in the middle and then side rooms with a toilet and bidet. The location was perfect, right in the middle of the strip, easy walk anywhere! There was a 24 hr pizza place on site for late night drunk munchies!! ;) Pool is super deep, unlike other pools.

Sometimes the moving walkways in the entrance didn't work. Tv was a little outdated, but we didn't use it anyway. Room service prices were weird - $35 for a bowl of goldfish, or something like that? And $15 for coffee, but bloody mary's only $5. We didn't use room service anyway either though.

I hate casinos! I hate haviung to walk 15 minutes thrgh slot machines between the parking lot and my room. On top of this, there is no way to find a decent breakfast in this place. Breakfast is horrendous and overpriced.

Hotel staffnot very helpful. Only one hotel staff member was helpful. Her name was Rita.

Location mainly rooms where nice but a litttle dated staff was helpful

Somehow my credit card got a unautherized charge on it from the spa and know one seems to know how and they passed around the problem to different departments also there was no notice that the pool area was closed during my stay or I would have stayed at another hotel
