Wow, Nashville is a wonderful place to visit. So much history and things to do. Must stop by Old Red, Luke Bryant, Garth Brooks and Miranda Lamberts bars.
IMiranda Lamberts was my favorite place to eat.

Great spot for music lovers for sure!
Great spot for music lovers for sure! Highly recommend for live music and bar hopping. If music isn't really your thing you may find it boring and repetitive to just go to bars.
Definitely recommend getting some Nashville chicken while here. They also have some great brunch/breakfast cafe's but many have lines around the building so make sure to get there early or get a reservation in advance if possible.
Getting around Nashville I am a bit split on. It seems some areas did have public transport but the bus stops don't have much signage to help you know where they stop at or go to. We drove around for the most part and finding parking can sometimes be a challenge and expensive. Definitely plan ahead on where you will park and have a back-up plan too.
I would skip out on the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum. The tickets were overpriced for what you get to see and there are so many other better museums that you could go to for a better price.

We don't drink, so the Honky Tonks were not a priority for us, but we love music, so we really enjoyed the show and tour at The Grand Ole Opry! We also highly recommend the Country Music Hall of Fame Museum with the tour of RCA Studio B, then spending a lazy Sunday afternoon in the historic, lovely town of Franklin. We also enjoyed seeing The Time Jumpers at 3rd and Lindsley on Monday night. Those guys are so fun and talented! We stayed four nights, but there was more to see. We could have stayed a couple more days. We also toured the Ryman the day we left, but we would have liked to have seen the Johnny Cash museum, maybe visit the Wildhorse and listen to more musicians, and lastly we would have liked to visit The Hermitage, but we did not have enough time. Nashville is a great vacation destination. It does have the party scene on Broadway for those who like that, but if you'd rather not, there's plenty of other attractions to enjoy. Oh, and there are plenty of good restaurants to satisfy your tastebuds as well -- Mission BBQ for tasty ribs and Paula Deen's for comfort food, both at the Opry Mills Mall, were delicious.

People are awesome. Prices......not so much.
People are awesome. Prices......not so much. I'm speaking of the bars. It's really ridiculous. Parking is atrocious. Really can't go anywhere on your own without paying up on crappy parking.

This was our 3rd visit to Nashville.
This was our 3rd visit to Nashville. We came to see Travis Tritt acoustic tour which was at the Fisher Center at the Belmont University. The concert was amazing and the venue was beautiful and enjoyable. We stayed at Homewood suites by Hilton across from Vanderbilt University in midtown Nashville. This area was perfect because it's out of the chaos (Las Vegas) like atmosphere of downtown. We were close to what we wanted to take part in. We toured the Belmont Masion and the Hermatige which is President Andrew Jackson's home. For us we like learning about history of the area. We also went on a Nashville ghost tour which was fun but was in the noisy chaotic part of Nashville.

I had asked for a quiet room away from road noise in a message to the property when I booked the stay. I asked again at the front desk when we checked in and the portly attendant replied that she thought our room would be quiet. I understood her tentative sounding answer, as I was periodically awakened through the night, by the sound of trucks shifting gears on the freeway just outside our window. We will never stay there again. The discounted price didn’t make up for the lousy night’s sleep.
Very close to the airport so take an uber - much less than a cab. The only place to eat nearby is the Waffle House Across the street. We took advantage of a shuttle $15 each to Broadway each day. You can use as often as you need but once we were downtown we didn't return but still worth it. First night return a cab was $35! Nashville is very busy but so much fun! We booked a Nashtrash tour ahead and glad we did. Hop on Hop off bus is great. The museums are fantastic - many choices. White sheets/towels and very clean.
We chose this hotel as a budget way to visit Nashville and it didn’t disappoint. Although 10 minutes out from the centre, Nashville is well served by Uber (and according to the guy on the desk) and Lyft. It was quick and easy to get an Uber in to the attractions during the day and we were happy to use local restaurants in the evenings. We had a great meal at the Cracker Barrel next door and also travelled to Brentwood and Hundred Oaks, both nearby for something less frenetic than downtown Nashville!
Hotel was very clean and the bed was super comfortable! Located beside the airport so of course there were occasional noises from flyovers but was not an issue. Extremely convenient if you are using the airport, they have an included transportation service to and from the airport/hotel. We were visiting for downtown Nashville and booked this hotel because it was cheaper than downtown. We took an Uber and it was definitely worth it. Really enjoyed our stay.
We've stayed in hundreds of hotels over our lifetime. I'd have to say this was the best one for sure!! The room was huge, clean, and awesome!! The staff was extremely friendly and the dinner happy hour was something I've never seen. 5 to 7, free food and 3 free drinks each!!! Not just cheap beer, hard liquor and the margaritas were super!!! Can't say a bad thing about this hotel. A little pricey, but you get what you pay for.
Colin who worked on the front desk was such a lovely host. He was friendly, helpful and very informative and made us feel very welcome at the hotel. Breakfast was great with a good selection of food and the lady who was on duty was also incredibly efficient and friendly. The shuttle service from the hotel into Nashville was excellent and it was great being near to all the amenities at Opryland.
Excellent value for money and great grab and go breakfast included. It was exactly as expected (no frills but modern and comfortable). Liked the location as it was near downtown but far enough out to not be right in all the craziness of broadway etc. Not far from good coffee and a big park if you wanted to run/walk in the mornings!
Such an awesome location in East Nashville! Lots of local goodies nearby and you’re not far from downtown at all. The inside is absolutely beautiful and the surrounding neighborhood is quaint, quiet, and pleasant. The check-in process was so easy, I prefer that to any regular hotel check-in any day
Definitely was the best hotel that I ever had stayed in.
The pool was good, breakfast was perfect and the staff were friendly and helpful.
The best part is they offer a shuttle to the airport and also a shuttle to downtown.
I would stay at the hotel again if I go back to Nashville.
We needed a place near Vanderbilt Medical Center, and this hotel was perfect. The room was clean and comfortable, and there was a spectacular view of downtown Nashville! We would definitely stay here again!
The hotel is good and quietly located at the near of the airport. There is plenty of parking and we could quickly reach Nashville Broadway. The hotel is modern and the rooms are clean and well equipped.
The staff was very accommodating and friendly. The location is great to walk to all the spots in Nashville. We were especially surprised by the breakfast. It was the best we've had at a hotel.
Super friendly staff, free shuttle to and from the airport which was super convenient. Cheap Uber to downtown Nashville. There is a gas station right next door to get snacks late at night.
The hotel was very nice and conveniently located for seeing Nashville. The were several restaurants nearby. The staff were all very polite and helpful.
