Comfortable, safe, clean and well located.
The location of the breakfast, depressing place.
Wifi very poor! Staff fair, rooms stuffy and cramped. Overpriced. Location the only redeeming feature.
My 3 day stay was very enjoyable at The Baron Hotel. Good location for me. I had a personal problem which the staff resolved very quickly. I rate their service very highly.
The burlesque shows were fantastic, really worth seeing. The bar is great, with great food and great service. The rooms, though basic, were clean. The elevator was an old-school trip!
I dislike fans and you couldn't turn the bathroom light on without the fan going off. Going to the bar for ice was irritating, as was water only being available downstairs, although it's nice coffee tea and water were all free!
The room was freezing cold when I arrived at 8:00 pm and took an hour to warm up
Then when the heat did warm up- the thermostat did not work and it was really hot in the room-- no in between, making sleep pretty uncomfortable.
Price Location The reception was very helpful for my parcel delivery.
The room was not soundproofing at all and the air conditioner was very noise.
awesome pub in the basement directly between Georgetown and Dupont Circle
Staff were helpful
People hanging about on the front steps smoking and drinking
Location and staff at front desk
Its not worth for the price it charges, the infrastructure(elevator and narrow lobby) . They could keep a microwave at each floor and a refrigerator in case they can't provide it for each room so that every time the staff at front desk need not be requested to access microwave. A microwave and a refrigerator at each floor will cost a few hundred dollars and can be so helpful for customers.
Good location with good access to mass transit
The beds were very uncomfortable you could feel the springs through the mattress bedside lighting was poor for reading in the evening. All rooms seem to have the same problems with uncomfortable bed because we checked out multiple rooms
Excellent location and the bar downstairs was wonderful!
Fun comedy/ events beer bar downstairs. Very popular, nice crowd.
No fruit at bkfst
The location was excellent. Five minutes walking to metro.
There is a bar on site which is not a problem in my opinion. However the band played well into the night. Till 1:30 at least. This made it hard to fall asleep as the floor was vibrating from the sound. If you bring ear plugs that would help.
Brian who has only been in the u,s. For one year was nice enough To lie to me straight faced.
The place is located in a great position, 6 min walking to the metro. The structure itself is pretty old, but it gives you a good feeling. I was at the third floor, and the room was pretty good overall. Good bed, large shower, hd tv, strong wifi. The sleep was good, no big noise after all. There was also the tavern: I used to have a beer in the evening and it was pretty awesome. Lots of types of beer, lots of people, good experience. The staff was great. The breakfast was pretty boring for the food, but hey, it's 4 bucks so what do you want? So, the experience was really good and I really enjoyed the time spent there. If you are a businessman maybe it's not your place, but for young people and tourists it's the best you can have.
The breakfast wasn't really wide.
Food in the tavern Helpfulness of staff Room is just right for a short stay
Elevator is old & a challenge to use but funtional
Good value for money, good location
Noisy at saturday night, because the bar is downstairs.
Three separate rooms - 2 were satisfactory and resembled the photos we saw on booking.com. The third room was crowded, no bed heads, dangerous electrical plugs, bathroom door wouldn't close to name some problems. Totally unacceptable in comparison to the other rooms. An email to the manager was ignored and staff at the time we're dismissive. would not recommend the facility at all.
Room was clean but small and bathroom fan noisy
Good accessibility to food outlets, shops and attractions. The hotel has an an interesting lift that we normally associate with old buildings. Was quite a thrill everytime we took it!
Room was a tad small.
The hotel's location is perfect, very safe and quiet. Very short walk to Dupont circle, which is a real center. The bar under the hotel is perfect, very delicious meal and no sound came up to the room. The bed was the comfiest I ever slept and the room smelled so fresh and clean.
staff were friendly.
Good location, close to subway and Georgetown
The noise in the room. The hotel has a bar for shows and stand up comedy. My room was at secund floor and it was very noisy
