Friendly and welcoming staff Loved the homemade cookies in the evening Great location Tasty breakfast
The wifi in our room was poor, we had to go down to the livingroom to use wifi.
A cosy inn in urban setting. Close to main shopping and restaurant area. The breakfasts were unique and delicious. The staff were extremely helpful and welcoming. The evening wine ,cheese and desserts were unexpected and wonderful.
I loved it. The staff made me feel so pampered. The afternoon snacks were amazing. My breakfast was fresh and made to order. I would stay there again in a heart beat.
All food was homemade, feeling like home. She really take care of her guests.
Nothing, couldent be better.
The room was everything I expected and more. Breakfast every morning was excellent. Marie and Vicki couldn't have made us feel more welcomed.
The three-course breakfast was amazing. The owners were also very friendly and nice. The room was clean and comfortable.
Cozy, well appointed room, comfortable bed. Very friendly and helpful staff. Great breakfast with alternative if you don't like one of the items proposed. Large selection of home made cookies and pastry at tea time (with lemonade, tea, coffee hot chocolate...) and all night, wine and cheese before dinner.
Our 2 hostesses were wonderful, so full of passion to ensure we had a comfortable stay and everything we needed. Breakfast was a delight and certainly set us up for a long day on the road. The rooms were comfortable and clean.
TV was a bit tiny!!! Wifi dropped in and out.
The staff and and different morning meal
No air conditioning!! Could not get to sleep until after midnight when it cold down. Room too small and bathroom way to small for a 6' 5" person. Walking up the steep steps to the third floor would be difficult for a person with any health problems or condition. Very few amenities for the price.
I was very happy with the hotel. My room (The Country Suite) was exceptional and would hope it was free when I go again. Also being a vegetarian I appreciated the tasty breakfast each day. A lovely place all round.
When arriving at the Bath street inn, we were greeted by friendly and welcoming staff. Beautiful bedrooms and a lovely little garden in the back, providing a perfect setting for the daily serving of wine and cheese. The breakfast was amazing, with homemade granola and yoghurt, fresh juice and coffee. We could just smell the raspberry muffins coming out of the oven when arriving downstairs for breakfast, and not to forget delicious omelet. To walk down to the centre, it took about 10-15 min. If you are gooing to the beach, you would need to drive. We loved everything about this inn, and we would highly recommend it to anyone!
On arrival, a huge pile of cookies and cakes were waiting for us (for me!): custard tarts were delicious, choc cake very good and cookies really good. I could move there easily. The lady who cooks was ADORABLE, nicest lady on the west coast. Other lady there for breakfast was very nice too. Breakfast was DELICIOUS. I should say this is a gourmet place, really. Rooms are super nice (it's like a b&b in Cornwall) and very clean. Parking is ok and free. In Montecito is full of great restaurants. This is a great place to relax or have a romantic weekend. If you are with friends you can just eat lots of cake. Loved it.
The fact that they would not adopt me.
Personal service Excellent B&B
Bit away from downtown though we enjoyed the walk and you can catch the shuttle from uptown. Internet only worked in common area
The staff was very welcoming and helpful. The location was convenient for walking and the full breakfasts were wonderful -- sit down, not buffet. There was also tea in the afternoon and cheese and wine in the early evening.
Very friendly staff, nice room, and an excellent breakfast.
like a 5 star boutique hotel
Bed Lovely room Friendly staff- very welcoming and we loved the home made afternoon tea (and wine)
Poor wifi in room- as international travellers we like to stay in touch with home.
On a road trip I was just looking for somewhere to sleep and the Bath Street Inn was the only room I could find available in my budget, although right at the top end. I was very impressed when I arrived to be told to help myself to home made cakes and coffee and that cheese and wine would be laid out shortly. This is a beautiful house and obviously a labour of love as it is very well looked after. I was in the Tiffany room of which the en-suite had a beautiful roll top bath and period shower. Everything I could have needed was there as well as very comfortable communal areas. Breakfast was lovely and plentiful. I was made to feel most welcome at the Bath Street Inn, thank you all very much.
There is nothing not to like.
We enjoyed our stay very much, and the staff could not have been more helpful. The delicious hot gourmet breakfast really set you up for the day, and their version of afternoon tea was way more than I was expecting. There were always three different kinds of cakes, and cookies, coffee, tea, lemonade. Hard to be careful to leave enough room for the cheese and wine which was available later on. We will have warm and happy memories of our stay at The Bath Street Inn for a long time
Charming old house. Very clean. The staff was nice and friendly. Superb beds with comfortable sheets that were a relief after sleeping in motels.
Quaint establishment with friendly staff.
Neighbouring guests were rather noisy. Next door someone was playing ball for a long time.
Really interesting place. Very welcoming. Close enough to all the action 20min walk to down town and from there you can get a shuttle bus for 50 cents to the beach. Staff can't do enough for you there. Every day they have cake and coffee at about 3 and then cheese and wine at about 6. Breakfast is also excellent. Santa Barbara is a must see.
No air con ( although they do have fans).
Very romantic and warm place to stay. Breakfast was wonderful. Deborah was very kind to send us a travel guide email after we leave. Will definitely visit again next time in santa babara.
Nothing. A reminder to late arrivers, restaurants were all closed at 9pm.
Amazing and personal service - Deborah and Marie made us feel so at home. The baking, cakes, breakfasts, cheese and wine were all incredible! Definitely coming back ... very soon!
