The friendly staff
The decor, and the room where we stayed was the most outdated, dark and I felt like granny in a nursing home. I wasn't impressed with the Continental Breakfast, we have travel enough to expect the best of the best. I could it stayed at the beach for the money we paid.
The staffs are really welcoming and the location is relatively close to state street. The beat thing is the breakfast. They made the best breakfast i ever had in b&b. Fresh fruit as well. They have delicious cake for you all night.
The room is a bit small as what i thought of b&b. Neighbourhood can get a bit nasty as i had someone yelled at me and even come very close to me while i was walking to city center.
The staff was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The food was excellent! Had a great time!
The food was amazing from soup to nuts! Afternoon snacks, wine, cheese and breakfasts were all great! Parked our cars and didn't have to drive all weekend . Everything was within walking distance.
Ground floor was somewhat loud with parking lot
We had abvshort visit to Santa Barbara and typically don't care for hotels. I work regularly our of town so we wanted to find lodging that felt more home style. Bath St. Inn was ideal to book and, upon arrival, felt immediately comfortable and settled. Not to mention super close to some really great eateries !
We would love to lift up the property and plop it gently in the woods. That said, considering it's history, it probably was in the woods prior to the development.
The location is in a quiet neighborhood conveniently located to downtown Santa Barbara. The people were warm & friendly. Felt very much at home.
We stayed here as part of our honeymoon. This is such a lovely and homely place, very welcoming, lovely breakfast, room was lovely. Great location. We would stay again!
Service and assistance in planning a special occasion, the amenities and consideration for guests and their different needs.
No - everything was very nice.
Our hostess couldn't have been more welcoming & we had an imaginative & delicious breakfast.
Our room was cramped & I prefer a modern bathroom.
Bath Street Inn is comfortable and friendly. There is an afternoon tea with homemade cakes, wine and cheese in the early evening and a full breakfast (vegetarian but full of protein). Very nice place to stay; I hope to return.
The Staff were so inviting. The atmosphere was cozy, warm and felt like home. The food was excellent, rooms spotless and comfortable. I slept like a baby
That we only got to stay for one night !!
The price was high
We enjoyed the home atmosphere and cosy terrace. Each room had its own decor. Very pretty place.
Friendly staff, clean and relatively quiet room, good parking facilities.
Very noisy ventilator instead of aircon. Had to turn it off to be able to sleep. Had it been warmer it would have been quite uncomfortable. The Abigail room has a very small bathroom with a tiny shower area, but it works. At least one other room on the same floor has a large bathroom. Location is a bit off the beaten path. If you arrive late and are tired, as we were, it's a relatively long walk to SB center and the restaurants, not to speak of Stearns Wharf. You may be tempted to drive and then cannot enjoy the area's excellent wine...
Friendly and welcoming staff Loved the homemade cookies in the evening Great location Tasty breakfast
The wifi in our room was poor, we had to go down to the livingroom to use wifi.
A cosy inn in urban setting. Close to main shopping and restaurant area. The breakfasts were unique and delicious. The staff were extremely helpful and welcoming. The evening wine ,cheese and desserts were unexpected and wonderful.
I loved it. The staff made me feel so pampered. The afternoon snacks were amazing. My breakfast was fresh and made to order. I would stay there again in a heart beat.
All food was homemade, feeling like home. She really take care of her guests.
Nothing, couldent be better.
The room was everything I expected and more. Breakfast every morning was excellent. Marie and Vicki couldn't have made us feel more welcomed.
The three-course breakfast was amazing. The owners were also very friendly and nice. The room was clean and comfortable.
Cozy, well appointed room, comfortable bed. Very friendly and helpful staff. Great breakfast with alternative if you don't like one of the items proposed. Large selection of home made cookies and pastry at tea time (with lemonade, tea, coffee hot chocolate...) and all night, wine and cheese before dinner.
Our 2 hostesses were wonderful, so full of passion to ensure we had a comfortable stay and everything we needed. Breakfast was a delight and certainly set us up for a long day on the road. The rooms were comfortable and clean.
TV was a bit tiny!!! Wifi dropped in and out.
The staff and and different morning meal
No air conditioning!! Could not get to sleep until after midnight when it cold down. Room too small and bathroom way to small for a 6' 5" person. Walking up the steep steps to the third floor would be difficult for a person with any health problems or condition. Very few amenities for the price.
I was very happy with the hotel. My room (The Country Suite) was exceptional and would hope it was free when I go again. Also being a vegetarian I appreciated the tasty breakfast each day. A lovely place all round.
