Our 2 hostesses were wonderful, so full of passion to ensure we had a comfortable stay and everything we needed. Breakfast was a delight and certainly set us up for a long day on the road. The rooms were comfortable and clean.

TV was a bit tiny!!! Wifi dropped in and out.

The staff and and different morning meal

No air conditioning!! Could not get to sleep until after midnight when it cold down. Room too small and bathroom way to small for a 6' 5" person. Walking up the steep steps to the third floor would be difficult for a person with any health problems or condition. Very few amenities for the price.

I was very happy with the hotel. My room (The Country Suite) was exceptional and would hope it was free when I go again. Also being a vegetarian I appreciated the tasty breakfast each day. A lovely place all round.

On arrival, a huge pile of cookies and cakes were waiting for us (for me!): custard tarts were delicious, choc cake very good and cookies really good. I could move there easily. The lady who cooks was ADORABLE, nicest lady on the west coast. Other lady there for breakfast was very nice too. Breakfast was DELICIOUS. I should say this is a gourmet place, really. Rooms are super nice (it's like a b&b in Cornwall) and very clean. Parking is ok and free. In Montecito is full of great restaurants. This is a great place to relax or have a romantic weekend. If you are with friends you can just eat lots of cake. Loved it.

The fact that they would not adopt me.

    Personal service Excellent B&B

Bit away from downtown though we enjoyed the walk and you can catch the shuttle from uptown. Internet only worked in common area

The staff was very welcoming and helpful. The location was convenient for walking and the full breakfasts were wonderful -- sit down, not buffet. There was also tea in the afternoon and cheese and wine in the early evening.

On a road trip I was just looking for somewhere to sleep and the Bath Street Inn was the only room I could find available in my budget, although right at the top end. I was very impressed when I arrived to be told to help myself to home made cakes and coffee and that cheese and wine would be laid out shortly. This is a beautiful house and obviously a labour of love as it is very well looked after. I was in the Tiffany room of which the en-suite had a beautiful roll top bath and period shower. Everything I could have needed was there as well as very comfortable communal areas. Breakfast was lovely and plentiful. I was made to feel most welcome at the Bath Street Inn, thank you all very much.

There is nothing not to like.

We enjoyed our stay very much, and the staff could not have been more helpful. The delicious hot gourmet breakfast really set you up for the day, and their version of afternoon tea was way more than I was expecting. There were always three different kinds of cakes, and cookies, coffee, tea, lemonade. Hard to be careful to leave enough room for the cheese and wine which was available later on. We will have warm and happy memories of our stay at The Bath Street Inn for a long time

Charming old house. Very clean. The staff was nice and friendly. Superb beds with comfortable sheets that were a relief after sleeping in motels.

    Quaint establishment with friendly staff.

Neighbouring guests were rather noisy. Next door someone was playing ball for a long time.

Really interesting place. Very welcoming. Close enough to all the action 20min walk to down town and from there you can get a shuttle bus for 50 cents to the beach. Staff can't do enough for you there. Every day they have cake and coffee at about 3 and then cheese and wine at about 6. Breakfast is also excellent. Santa Barbara is a must see.

No air con ( although they do have fans).

Very romantic and warm place to stay. Breakfast was wonderful. Deborah was very kind to send us a travel guide email after we leave. Will definitely visit again next time in santa babara.

Nothing. A reminder to late arrivers, restaurants were all closed at 9pm.

The two ladies who own the Inn could not have done more for us. Very friendly and helpful and gave a very personal service. Lovely outside courtyard for eating and relaxing. Good food and all home made - they just love baking. Tea and cake every afternoon. Wine and cheese early evening.

Very cozy - room was decorated very nicely by someone with an eye for detail. Location was very convenient - within walking distance to shops and restaurants.

Only complaint would be that the room was very small.

Breakfast great. Nice place. Very typical bed and breakfast with lots of character. Enjoyed our stay

The room we had was an upgrade (the partridge). We would've been afraid to see a room that wasn't upgrade.

Room was way too small for even one person, let alone two. Very little space for personal belongings; hooks would've helped a bit. If furniture in rm was meant to use, hardware should have been re-attached. If not, a prominent sign should have stated "Please do not use the antique furniture."

Steps too steep; driveway very difficult to get in & out of. Cute little old run-down Victorian that needs some modernization.

The owners/ staff were exceptional, extremely friendly and very accommodating. The amenities were wonderful including all of the fresh baked goods. The location was excellent as to the waterfront and State Street. I would definitely stay here again.

Deborah & Vicky are amazing hosts and made our stay as comfortable as possible. We thoroughly enjoyed the spa tub in our room, the breakfasts, afternoon wine & cheese and the desserts!

The garden room was smaller than I'd realized, but that's my fault for expecting a large room in an old Victorian house. Queen bed was comfortable, but the pillows weren't. It's next door to an apartment building, and there was quite a bit of street noise, especially on Saturday night. A little farther away from the State Street nightlife, but still close enough to walk if you don't mind.
