Very roomy apartment for three of us. The kitchen is fully equipped.
The Windows definitely needs curtain for privacy. The bathroom could install more clothing hooks to provide more convenience for user. The most important point to suggest is to let attendant understand to keep volume down after 11pm since the sounds insulation is not that good.
Neighborhood, Apartment Layout, Potential.
Grubby, No blinds or curtains in bedrooms, Poor bed linen, No iron/board. Most lamps did not work. Ambiguity as to who was managing the property. With a little effort and investment this apartment could be lovely.
The location and the guest service at the business beneath the apartment...
the kitchen did not have adequate cook ware or utensils and dished are chipped....bathroom towel bar is broken...dryer did not work properly nor was it vented out...floors are extremly dirty...carpet has several stains... NEEDS MAJOR CLEANING.....
I liked the size of the apartment. It is comfortable with a well-equipped kitchen, fireplace and two bedrooms. It is in the heart of Wicker Park.
A staff member pounded on our door telling us we were suppose to be our of the unit at 10:00 when we had an additional day. Also there was only one small bar of soap, no toilet paper and no ice tray.
We stayed in apartment No 1 which was a two bedroom apartment with full kitchen. A nice area and lots of nice restaurants around the corner. 10 min drive to city centre.
Size of apartment
Bar closing too early WiFi hard to connect to
Great area, lots nearby, transportation was easy, staff was helpful and responsive, plenty of square footage--didnt feel squished.
more cups, glasses etc
Complete kitchen, good location, quality flat screen TV with large selection of channels.
Broken items in the apartment (toilet paper holder, window shade in the room), no window shade in the living room, noisy neighborhood, air conditioner with intermittent problem.
I booked this apartment because there was space for 5 adults in a decent neighborhood.
The apartment was not very clean (interesting because we were charged a $100 cleaning fee) and there were several items that were broken or did not work - the dishwasher, the toilet paper holder (hanging from the wall), the ceiling lights upstairs, the "taco" beds. We booked the reservation for 5 adults. There were 2 beds and a pull-out sofa in the living room. We had confirmed in advance (via email AND phone) that linens would be provided. When we arrived, there was no bedding for the sofa bed and not enough towels for the group. Luckily there was a washing machine in the apartment, so we were able to wash towels and reuse them. The spa downstairs was also kind enough to give us some message table sheets. With limited availability to the apartment staff on the weekend, and several miscommunications, they finally delivered sheets and extra towels on our last night in the apartment! The bedroom on the main floor is right above a bar of some sort, so there was loud music and loud voices every night until about 3AM. As an added bonus, we even had to buy our own toilet paper! I would not recommend this apartment.
Really nice apartment for group of friends - may be less valuable for family stay.
The apartment was spacious and had all the amenities of home except for the lack of toilet paper and stained comforters.
The staff wasn't friendly. There was no pool although the website listed such. The room wasn't clean upon arrival ie the floors needed swept.
mattresses were soft; whole apartment needed vaccuming; carpets needed cleaning
wide and spacious. Heating system was marvellous.
NO LIFTS IN THE BUILDING TO ACCESS THE ROOMS. TOILET PAPER HOLDER AND TOWEL RAIL NOT ATTACHED TO THE WALL SECURELY.
I thought management and services were bad and they were not professional. Most of all, they were not willing to work with customers to solve problems.
Kitchen Kitchenware Beds Bathroom Living room Flat screen Television Heating system The Russian food in the restaurant was amazing. The personel from SPA was really nice. Everything was better than expected.
Laundry (too small, and took too long to dry our clothes) The personnel responsible for the facility were difficult get contact.
The apartment was lovely. It was nicely appointed with a full kitchen and laundry facilities. The kitchen was well stocked with a coffee maker, toaster, stove, microwave, plates, glasses, silverware, and cooking supplies. There was on site parking and the valets were very helpful on the occasions when the lot was full. The Wicker Park neighborhood was terrific with lots of excellent restaurants and shops within walking distance. Since we had an extended stay of 2 weeks, it was really nice to have our own apartment. It was a lovely place to stay and we definitely plan to book it again when we next visit Chicago.
My only complaint is that there were no coverings on any of the windows. This was especially troublesome in the second bedroom which had a full sized glass patio door leading to a balcony. Since the balcony faced the parking lot, there were bright lights that shone into the room and no privacy. We were able to make do by using duct tape to hang a sheet over the window but it certainly wasn't ideal. The other bedroom had a smaller window but it there was still quite a bit of light that came in at night.
Spa, wet and dry sauna's were great. Masage therapist gabe me one of the best massages I have ever had. Staff was very friendly and attentive.
The area in Wicker Park, Chicago is nice. Newly (2013) renovated rooms in nice condition. There are many restaurants in the area. The flat is spaceous and ideal for family.
Rooms could not be darkened. But they were still renovating and finalizing. I think this might come. Windows didn't close properly. Insofar noise from street.
