No extra toilet paper in the bathroom Tiny towels Old TV with no remote Had to go to back to desk several times to find out WiFi pswd and find out where towels were located
The girl at the front desk was very friendly and helpful
The location is a bit scary. Don't really want to go out at night
- the bathroom was recently updated - walking distance to the BART and 15min way from SF
we stood for 3 days and they only cleaned our room because we asked for after the second day. The main door in the room has a huge gap below, this means that noise isolation is really bad, so be prepared to use ear plugs if you want to sleep.
There was no mirror in the bathroom.
Front desk staff was really nice considering I arrived late at night. And they recently just remodeled the bathroom so it was spanking new and shiny.
Room kinda lacking in space
Floor and bedding was better than expected. Microwave and a fridge were a nice addition.
Towels were rough, no closet and complimentary toiletries were minimal but adequate.
Shower was great, room newly remodeled. Had small frig & microwave.
Small towels, no bath mat. Didn't like the roofers on roof at 8:00am, after a late night.
The girl and other staffs seem nice and kind! Love the price too! Close to MacArthur bart.
The neighbor.....but you know what, as a Asian girl, if I can do it, you can do it. I lived there for 4 nights, tried the food around, and I'm totally fine. Just try to feel excited rather than worried. The other bad thing is that the hotel only change towel, nothing else. Overall, it's a nice place to live, and you have to try the pork burritos at the car wash store!
20 minutes far from San Francisco by BART (good and very cheap alternative to visit S.F.) refurbished bathroom
Price and location (30 min to SF center)
Location and price
Toilet paper is not enough.
Nice clean beds. Bathrooms were just recently remodeled. And look great. Has a light switch for the bed side light. And has 2 plugs on each side of the bed next to the light switch. It's close to the freeway but not too close
Needs to have more towels. No hand towels or bath mat. Needs towels racks.
Well, they had room and it was about the only place under $100/night
-Rundown facilities -Mildew in room -Unwelcoming atmosphere
Newly renovated room. Clean tiled bath and shower.
Close to bart, close to s.f., family run well cared for.
Sketchy neighborhood but didn't have any problems.
The restroom was nice. The staff was friendly.
It was a non-smoking room that had a strong cigarette smell. Area was not so great
To noisy at night, the door and window seem to be made of carton, you can hear everything that's going on outside.... specially the ambulance (there's a hospital 3 blocks away). They didn't clean our room when we went back to rest the following day. (Our bed wasn't made, we had fix our bead and had to sleep on the same sheets as the night before)
It was clean and in good shape. It was conveniently located to the expressways. The bed was comfortable. The TV, microwave, and refrigerator were great to have in the room.
No food available nearby. Questionable neighborhood.
Clean room, cozy with air and heating, microwave, fridge, clean towels and tv.
They could clean the shower mildew once in a while.
Quiet location Close to shopping at IKEA
No closets No place to hang clothes Had to request soap, toilet paper Will not stay there again
idle for the money. well located
The room was really inexpensive. I don't know that you can find a cheaper rate in the East Bay. If saving money is the priority, then the Bay Bridge Inn is the right choice. The staff was also friendly, helpful, and courteous.
You really get what you pay for. Room was missing simple amenities like an iron or pants press, a remote for the television, and a nozzle on the shower head. That was the most irritating part; water just dribbled out of the shower head with very little pressure or volume. There was a conical device on the shower head, but it freely spun without adjusting the water stream at all. The area is also not great. Partially gentrified and on the way up, but still with the signs of poverty easily recognizable in graffiti covered walls, boarded-up town houses, and homeless people all over. I would have paid a little more for a better location and a good shower.
Very nice hotel to stay ,inexpensive and well cared for by the family who runs it.
The neighborhood is sketchy but I didn't have any problem
Cheap, clean, great value for money. It's not the Rirz Carlton so don't expect any fancy extras. It's a decent hotel for a very low rate.
Close to Bart and free parking.
A bit of a gritty neighborhood.
