Nice peaceful location. Staff were very friendly. Great views of the marina from our balcony.
Food was a bit mediocre. Could clearly hear the concert going on next door, which could annoy folk that want a peaceful night (personally, I liked it).
loved the breakfast, the amazing views, and short distance to everything.
certain things in the rooms were outdated such as fixtures, tvs, refrigerators, and microwaves
We were upgraded to a suite and it was very nice -overlooking the bay. We could see all sorts of boats. There were restaurants close by that were excellent. The small beach was right across the street.
The balconies were very small. Only one person could sit out there. The food at the complementary breakfast was lukewarm at best and there wasn't any decaf coffee.
WiFi just does not work
The staff was very accommodating, there advice was on point. The location was excellent and the amenities nice. Breakfast was the only negative, it was ok but not great.
Breakfast buffet was weak
The recent remodel is lovely & inviting. Check in/out was fast & efficient. Everyone was very nice & I was able to check in early. The room was perfect. I had a really good Swordfish dinner at their restaurant. Perfect mini vaca!
The total experience.
Loved the view!!! Also, the free breakfast was outstanding which included hot foods. The staff was very nice and the guy who was serving the breakfast foods was very nice too.
The rooms were dated but beds were very comfortable. End table had coffee left and binder in room had something left on the back of it.
Stayed four days. Great location. Loved the balcony overlooking the marina. Good breakfast.
The hotel has been updated but there are still some things they haven't gotten to like the doors to the rooms are chiped at the bottom and the carpets in the hallways still need to be replaced. The attention to detail could be better for example the steps entering the hotel needed to be swept and sometimes there was some trash outside the trash receptacles that needed to be picked up. But these were minor things that didn't affect our stay.
Super room overlooking the marina and an extra bonus of Steve Winwood concert nearby. Heard it from our balcony and danced in the moonlight. Very romantic. It was quiet during the night and no doors were slamming in the halls. A few children running in the morning, but not disturbed by it. Great stay and I'll book here again.
We missed breakfast, but that was our fault.
We found the staff very friendly and helpful. We celebrated Fathers Day and a Birthday in the dining room. The wine and dinner were excellent! My husband had the blackened ahi and I had oso bucco, the meal was perfect, our server very attendtive and pleasant. Great experience.
Breakfast was usually cold or has run out. The server at breakfast was pleasant and tried to make waiting for more food go as smoothly as possible by engaging people in conversation, but after the third morning of this, it was just annoying.
The room and furiture, location
The staff was amazing and made us feel at home!
Great view nice rooms! Excellent customer service everyone was very friendly!
The location is Excellent and the view the hotel offers of the boats/yachts can't be improved. Also, Point Loma is the BEST!!! Service staff EXCELLENT. Front desk staff very pleasant and any requested repairs were addressed and fixed promptly, e.g., dresser in room needed fixing and top of drape needed to be readjusted.
Bird droppings on balcony which I had to clean off myself. Don't think guests should have to pay for parking. Breakfast menu needs variety and improvement (look at Hilton Garden Inn breakfast for comparison). Also, towels need to be bleached--not as white and new as should be. The new bartender trainee very nice; other regular bartender needs to improve his attitude--not particularly polite to me when requesting ice and a little short tempered-- other lady guest at bar noticed his attitude. Overall, lovely hotel and I will stay at your facility again.
The location is one of our favorites. The wood floors instead of carpet is so much cleaner. A great touch is the magnifying mirror in the bathroom. Avery friendly, helpful staff.
It was difficult to read. The lamps Did not give enough light. I did not enjoy the breakfast.too much seasonings and very little variety.
Very confortable room and nice location. Great view of the marina.
Breakfast is horrible!
Views from the room was excellent, we had a room with bay view.
Loved the location, and the bay view room. The staff were friendly and provided great service, giving us a discount when the pool and hot water went down for several hours. Room was clean and cute, and complimentary breakfast was surprisingly good.
One bar waitress was rude to us when we asked to order a poolside drink. She told us she was busy with other tables inside, but served three other people at the pool for hours without complaint. It made no sense. Also the restaurant steak wasn't good. But none of that would stop me from going again!
Looking out the window, at Liners and Warships sailing by! Would not have been impressed if we had been on the other side!
Too far out of town. $25 average taxi ride. Hotel shuttle was good - if available. Breakfast, both the quality and breakfast room, probably the worst we have ever experienced. Ambience poor, in lobby area - although refurbishing going on.
Good, quiet location with San Diego bay to the front and marina to the rear of the hotel. Reasonable eateries within a 5 minute walk, pleasant and safe waterside walks directly from the hotel.
Hotel is very tired and in need of complete renovation, work on a new reception is in progress, all areas need updating. Breakfast was fine but the waitresses were selective as to whom they offered refills and whom they ignored.
the room was very spacious and clean the balcony was a good size..lots of room. the front desk staff was amazing and very pleasant and helpful
the food was not very good..bland and poorly prepared....the server in the lounge was a big thumbs down. paying for parking is a joke..I dont likr being nickled and dimed..also local calls cost?
