covered parking upstairs room backside away from traffic comfy bed central location for food and stores
lousy tv in the airport flight path basic continental breakfast
The hotel is run down and in bad need of repairs. The rooms are accessed from the outside and there are no ground level rooms. The ground level is parking and you have to go up a flight (or two) of stairs to get to your room. Hotel is located directly across the street from a strip club and attracks unwelcome (loud and boistrous at 4:30 AM) guests. Look for another hotel.
TV did not work towels were stained room smelled of mold.
The price was good. Central location. Practically in the middle of all the sights. We really enjoyed our stay.
The continental breakfast was slim. Juice, coffee and pastries. But the is an IHOP next door. And a grocery store across the street. So in the end it's all good. ....
Surprise to find the room to have a nice comfy comforter; it has microwave, fridge, old CRT TV; close proximity to stores and malls.
The only thing is the old TV; would be better if they have flat-screen TV. Remote didn't work. Room is quite small, but good for one person.
Actresses not fair frames. Decor is drab. TV didn't work. Constant noises from other rooms.
*Cheap rates *Close to airport and downtown SD *Bed appeared clean and was comfortable
*Very, very close proximity to several adult stores/ businesses/ bars *Floors and towels were worn and dingy -dirty looking
Just two words: when we got to our room after spending some nice time outside, we found out that under the fridge dozens of cock-roaches were living. We realized it and, when we tried to move the fridge, they spread out over the room. Don't go with children. We complained to the staff, and after one hour of discussion, we finally managed to get all our money back.
It was pretty close to my destination.
The quality of the hotel was not so great. The picture made it seem that it would be more comforting. There was a weird smell coming from some of the bed sheets. Too expensive for one night.
Horrible place Bad neighborhood
Got very bad attitude and service from young male host at desk seemed very put out that i wanted to check in to my room. Slamming fingers down on key board to check me in.
The bed was very clean and so was the bathroom. The floors were clean as well. The room was quiet. The staff was okay....the lady in the morning was the best.
There was no cord on the phone to call to the desk. There was no good station on the TV all were fuzzy. The bed fell apart and I put it back together. When I looked at the room at 5pm the room was listed at 70 dollars plus tax. After I checked to see if I would stay over, the cost was $47. That was wrong.
close to everything
dirty bathroom floor, clerk at desk had no personality to speak of...just terrible experience. I'd rather pay for a high end hotel next time....
Clean, simple space. Of its type, pool was fun. WiFi worked, which is more than I can say for a lot of venues. I would stay there again.
It is down town San Diego, which comes with its benifits but also its down side. Appeared to have a period of air traffic in the morning which I can only assume is people commuting in by private plane in an around the bay area.
The bathroom was clean and the bed was comfortable.
Be ready to have a delay with finding your reservation if you make it the same day.
Pool and spa. room was clean
Breakfast no Airport shuttle
The only thing I liked was that it was near sea world and we only stayed one night
The pillows were dirty, the bed was hard, the ac kept shutting off so we kept waking up sweating, the plug for the coffee maker didn't work so I had to put it on the floor and plug it in by the tv, and last but not least the continental breakfast were dry lil pastries with coffee I wouldn't stay again
Facade is nice but the rest of the hotel is not. Dated rooms no easy access to 3rd floor and very poor breakfast
Close to a lot of things w/in walking distance. There was a fridge and microwave.
Tom at the front desk was SUPER rude. The room was clean, but had lots of broken items. There were cigarette butts all over the ground and though the parking was free, THERE WERE NO SPOTS AVAILABLE when we returned to our room at 10 pm.
Nothing at all!!
I hated everything about the room, the bathroom was disgusting! No room service! Ignorant receptionist especially the blond girl, who cares more about how she looks then to attend her customers! The breakfast was a few croissants and muffins with coffee only is this a joke! You are not escorted to the room you have to find your way yourself! I would never go back there again!
The location is good near the beach, sea world, old city, other several shops. Left are available ,,, The front staff I met are very friendly , and cooperative.
No sound broke in the rooms, The breakfast is zero value,
The bed and Wifi and it was quiet place
Location is almost perfect. I would recommend here to my friend if he wanted to stay during Comic con week. Good there's a freezer. Staffs were nice, but not that heartwarming-ly kind.
Breakfast is not good at all. Consider it's not included. I hated the bathroom.
