The Inn has an antique, homey feel. We had our own entrance; we stayed in the Stage Harbor room.It was clean and comfortable. The size of the room is appropriate for a couple or individual. Each morning there is a complimentary continental style breakfast (Coffee, yogurt, pastries). Ruth, the inn keeper, was very pleasant. It is an inn that is quiet and more for mature adults. I would stay there again in the fall or even spring. Because I enjoy a pool in the summer when on vacation, I would stay at a hotel. The location is great. At the end of Winthrop Street is Commercial Street, which is the main drag. If you like an inn that is clean and relatively quiet, this is the place to stay. It is not an inn that would be appropriate for children. In addition, each room comes with a parking spot for your car and no additional charge.
I have nothing bad to say about the property. If you use Metro PC as a cell phone provider, internet and phone did not work at times. It was not the inn's fault. I had difficulty all weekend with it. Once I left the town, my internet worked.
-More like renting a beautiful country room with bathroom than being in a Guesthouse for the weekend.
An 1850s house with decor to maych but with all mod cons. We had a one bedroom apartment up a flight of steep stairs but Ruth, Cami and Patrick were all happy to help us with our admittedly large pile of luggage. It was in a very convenient position for downtown Provincetown and within walking distance of a good supermarket. Although so near the main street it was very quiet. We were offered good suggestions for things to do and see.
The stairs could have been a problem but help with luggage dealt with that.
We loved this place. Rooms were exceptional Cami and Ruth were just wonderful!! Yummy baked goods every morning with all the fixins. We will stay there again if we visit Provincetown!! Close to everything, shops and restaurants within walking distance.
We would return to this B&B before any other in P-Town... They were very accommodating.. They went above and beyond ... Shuttles from and to the airport, even at a rediculous god aweful hour of the morning... Very friendly owners.. Again two thumbs up to Bayberry owners!!!
Nothing I can say all was excellent ...
Ruth and Cami were excellent hosts - welcoming, knowledgeable, friendly, helpful. Breakfast was simple but delicious and it was nice to be able to take it outside. Room was huge and spotless. Beds very comfortable. Location superb. Just a few minutes walk to the main street, shops and ocean.
Could not fault it.
Bayberry was clean and well maintained. Ruth was super! We will be staying there again, going to make this a yearly stay. recommend Bayberry Inn to everyone.
Owners, friendliness, cleanliness..
An extraordinary B & B. Can't recommend highly enough.
Location and people.
The best B&B we stayed in on a 10 day tour of New England. And the best value for money. Hosts wonderful. Place spotless and uniquely furnished. Huge room.Good self service continental breakfast which can be taken outside in good weather. Only 100 steps from the heart of Provincetown. Recommended without hesitation. And Provincetown is brilliant.
Nothing. Go there.
The location was perfect to walk into town or to the Pilgrim monument. However, there are many B&B's in this area that look very nice.
One of the reason I choose this B&B over others in the area was the reference to the gourmet breakfast. It was describe in detail online and in the current "Moon" Cape Cod Travel guide. However, the breakfast was english muffins, small dry bagles, small scones and jam. It was a continental breakfasd served on the kitchen counter in which you took what you like and went outside and sat at a picnic table. I'm not sure where you would sit and eat if the weather was raining or snowing. I didn't see any place inside the B&B. Also, the parking spaces were very limited
Friendly, accommodating innkeepers, interesting guests, great location, breakfasts were delicious, just right mix of protein, and carbs. Homemade baked goods! Nice outside seating areas. Room, though small, had everything we needed, and attractively decorated.
on street side, noisy
The staff and how clean the house was. We hate sleeping in other places but would definitely go back.
location comfort rooms hosts breakfast
We liked the relaxed atmosphere. There were serveral options for sitting outside. Cami's muffins are delicious, especially the ham and cheese! The diversity of the guests.
We had to move on to our next stop.
It's hard to pin down what we liked best. Our stay was restful and relaxing with a wonderful breakfast of homemade muffins, scones and a verity of breakfast delights to get our day off to a grate start.
Not being able to stay longer.
Great location, Relaxing atmosphere, Cosy decor, Nice breakfasts
Perfect location... Friendly owners... Breakfast basic but very good (daily fresh baked goods!)
The only main drawback was the location of the room -- right next to the living room/social area -- which made for some very early mornings waking up to the sound of other guests voices and laughter. If you want to sleep in, this isn't the room for you.
Everything. The hosts were incredibly hospitable and made us feel at home. The location was close to everything we could need and the breakfast was delicious. Definitely staying again any time we go to town.
our room was very comfortable, our host was very gracious, breakfast was excellent
the stairs were a little steep
Ruth is an excellent hostess. She made the place seem like visiting a family member. I felt completely at home.
Location and staff were very good. Breakfast was self service but their baked goods were quite good.
Our room was small but the other couple we traveled with had a very large room but they had to go up some very steep stairs to get to it.
Ruth and Cami are wonderful inn keepers. They are helpful and accommodating. The property is well maintained and the rooms are very welcoming. Their breakfasts are delicious. The location is within a couple of blocks of the P-town sites but very quiet. We've been guests during the off-season and peak season and have always been very happen with the Bayberry!
The place was very clean and the staff were very friendly and accommodating.
I liked everything :)
