Parking, and the location was great. having the microwave and the frig were a real plus.
The TV was really bad , it was very outdated was not able to get even the local channels. None of the machines were working. washer , dryers or snack machine. It really needs a lot of updating.
easy access to restuarants and shops.
clean staff didn't put cofee items, ice bucket, soaps in room and it wasn't cleaned very well at all. Old soap in the shower.
Prompt service when air condition & refrigerator went out in room.
Really nothing except maybe that I only had to stay one night thankfully.
Smoke stains in walls and sheets. Many holes from burns. Smells terrible. Hair all over and food crumbs. Trash left in room. Bathroom looks like it hasn't been cleaned in ages. Sheets were revolting and smelled of smoke and were yellowed and burned up from smoking.
Bed not comfortable feel bite like bug
Staff was friendly, Room was extremely well kept, breakfast was wonderful both in quality and variety, worth at least twice what we paid, close enough to downtown that the drive wasn't an issue but far enough away that things were quiet and peaceful at night. I would go back here in a heartbeat!
Other than Wal-Mart and couple of fast food restaurants, there wasn't much within walking distance.
The guest and surrounding areas.
The pool and cable
The staff was friendly and helpful and the breakfast was excellent
We had blood and hair in our bed bedbugs and roaches where everywhere
1st problem was i reserved 5 rooms two weeks before traveling. i confirmed twice prior to arrival. i get there and guess what??/ no rooms were reserved! i had 14 ppl some mnor teenagers with me. they now have to split us all up on different floors. some were smoking rooms which i really didnt want. we were told we couldnt use the pool friday because there was an outside part coming.Paying guests of the hotel were not able to use the pool but outsiders could. The rooms were nasty and outdated. there was hair in the tub when we checked in!! it was a horrible experience and i would never stay there again or reccomend that place to anyone.
The location is what drew us, because the property was between two addresses we were visiting.
The room did not have bed linens for sofa bed and we were only provided with sheets the first night, but we were told someone would bring linens the next morning. Never got it, until we asked housekeeper in the hall for the linens, a do not disturb sign, coffee set up with cups that day before we left to visit with our family. We left about 12:00 noon and came back about 11:30PM to find our room had not been cleaned and no clean towels or wash cloths were available in the room. When we checked in I was glad to see there was a fitness room only to find equipment did not work. Pool was closed. Elevator on both ends of hall was closed and out of order. The halls looked as if they had not been vacuumed in days. Each employee was pleasant, but my main complaint is there was no follow through on requests and while building looks nice outside, the inside is a mess. Customer service is lacking, big time.
I think the idea of three double beds in the room is fine and convenient ,so thanks for that, but one of the beds is right in front of the AC Window so it was impossible to sleep well cuz the air is blowing direct to your face.
Roomy, easy interstate access and local convenience stores... Perfect if you are driving into N.O. and don't want to spend the $ and deal with the hustle and bustle of downtown until you are well rested with a good nights sleep! Breakfast was good, about what I expected for free breakfasts... Belgium Waffles, yum!
Long hallways! (ask for a room near either end). The building was a bit older but remodeled and well-kept.
Breakfast was good
Housekeepers did change the sheet on the bed and saw a roachand also need airfairfares in the room and hall.
Staff was extra friendly
I like that this hotel included a fitness center & swimming pool. There also was an ice machine& drink machine right by my door. The bed was big and the breakfast was okay. The hotel front desk staff was nice. My first trip was really enjoyable & that inspired me to go back. Second trip was vastly different... Everything seemed really good on the surface...
The cable on the t.v. was kinda fuzzy& I had to fix it myself. My 2ND room had a stale odor. Also, the Indian lady at the breakfast center was very rude. She took the syrup before I could even use it. Used offensive language while I was preparing my food. Tried to tell my boyfriend he couldn't bring me food the second trip while I got my baby dressed. The bathroom had several roaches including a huge one sitting on the toilet seat. The house keeper knocked on my door repeatedly by 10 a.m.(check out is at 12 p.m) She even attempted to come in, ignoring my do not disturb sign on the door. The sink was busted and when I told the house keeper she told me to go downstairs and tell the front desk with my child. smdh besides ALL OF THAT it's a good place.
Pool was nice. Breakfast was your standard fair with waffles and eggs.
Rooms are dated and could use some updating. No fresh fruit on the breakfast buffet.
We were on the road and it was a good one nighter was a quick ride to the French quarter next morning
Towels and coffee not restocked in room

far from French Quarter
A lot of people in my family stayed here for our family reunion. I was terrified that it would be a bad experience but everything turned out well.
They ran out of towels on the first day.
staff was rude, room had roaches
Hotel staff was very friendly!
There was a roach in the bathroom. Our hotel door was broken. It would open on its own unless it was slammed.
