Great location, clean, friendly staff, great price
The hotel location is in good Orlando area.
1) The elevator is very old. 2) The carpets are not clean. 3) I had to go to the front desk for toilet papers twice. 4) The small refrigerator was not working at the arrival time. I asked the front desk for assistance which he was not very happy. 5) The front desk never greeted the guess upon arrival. The guy at the front desk never said a good morning or a good night when we left or came to the hotel. 7) Overall: very poor service and I will never recommend this hotel to friends and family. 8) I will stop using Booking.com if I get another hotel like this one in my next travel.
Everything very nice the room was so clean. if i ever come back to florida we will be stayin at baymont inn
Everything was good.
The night clerk (Jay) contacts me a few minutes after i made my reservation wth booking.com to tell me my credit card did not go through. Who gave him the authority to swipe my card? I didn't, i was still on the road. Then when I got there he continues trying to swipe my card, after I've told him I rather pay in cash.
The wifi worked good. Breakfast was okay. And the overall style was okay.
No towels in room. Floors were dirty. Remodeling rooms next to ours, which provided little rest with slamming door, hammering, abundance of noises up to 12:30am. I would not stay here again.
The only thing I liked was the breakfast
The room smelled like mildew, the mini fridge and coffee machine in room did not work and the bathroom curtain was installed incorrectly and so the floor would get soaking wet after taking a shower and all this was told to the clerk but nothing was done about it
Location was great. Close to public transportation. Overall okay.
Breakfast area too small. Breakfast offerings too limited. There was only tiny packets of butter and grape jelly to eat on toast. Not acceptable for an adult. Bagels and cream cheese might be a better option, also bananas and yogurt.
The room had been remodeled.
The bed and the rest of the bldg was old and had not been remodeled. The old carpeting smelled.
The front desk person was very nice and helpful and understanding.
When we were trying to go to our room we were confronted with a naked man roaming the halls exposing himself. Then there were roaches crawling on the bed and door. We couldn't stay there. I advise anyone traveling to spend the extra $20 and stay somewhere, anywhere else!
Breakfast room too small
The only good thing is it's proximity to Universal. The main entrance was right across the street.
When the Days Inn around the corner was going for $20 less per night, I thought spending the extra money would get me a nicer place. I was disappointed. The building doesn't seem well maintained. There was only one washcloth provided for two people. There's no toilet paper holder in the bathroom so the roll just sits on the sink which doesn't seem very sanitary.
Walking distance to Universal Studios. Basic comfortable room yet functional with fridge, TV, air-con, and microwave. Good shower. Comfortable beds. Breakfast was edible. Basic shops within walking distance.
Shuttle service to Universal only runs once a day so we didn't use it all week. Breakfast room was very small and opening time was too short so often it was overcrowded with no seating. No GF options apart from apples. WiFi was very patchy and did not work at all on some days.
Comfy beds. Clean. Good staff.
Staff was very friendly. The hotel is very good situated for visiting the Universal Studios. Very quiet situated.
Little space for the breakfast.
A good budjet hotel
Entrance lobby area is small Breakfast area is very small Common area passage were not cleaned proparly
Staff was friendly, room was clean, free parking. Restaurants and pubs very close to the hotel (2 minutes driving).
Martin at the front desk was so friendly and knew me by name from the time I checked in to the time I checked out. The beds were so soft and plush I just sank right into them!! Great value for the location, the superb cleanliness and the staff. Enjoyed that the room came with continental breakfast as well.
The hotel is very close to the theme parks.
My room was dirty. The air conditioner smelled like mold. There is no soundproofing. We heard the people in the next room all night and it sounded like they were standing right in our room. There were odd residues on the headboard, in the bathroom, and all over the floor. There were also dark hairs all over both beds.
The price of the room.
The room was filthy and the bed was uncomfortable. The room also smelled like smoke.
This my second visit at this hotel and feel great of course I go back !!!. All staff very nice !!!
it was in walking distance of universal studios
didnt have anything in the room needed lotion and they didnt have any in the room or the front desk. When i asked for it he said i got shampoo so i had to walk to walgreens and get some lotion
The room was clean
There was construction going on at night
Very confortable room with a big bed. Simple but nice breakeast. Excellent location, very close to Universal parks and not so far from Disney World.
The air conditioner was not so good, since it was winter it was ok, but maybe in the summer it can get worst.
The heating of the room
The location was nice for where we needed to be. Close to many restaurants and stores.
Pool was out of service during our entire visit because some idiots the night before peed in it and puked everywhere inside of the gate and also broke the filter. This was a disappointment considering it was cold in Buffalo when we left and we were prepared to dip in the water under the sun for a few mornings... Our bathroom sink was clogged and water wouldn't go down. When we told the service desk about it they didn't really apologize or try to accommodate us anything, just that when we were out a maintenance man would come fix it. Also, there was a plastic cap sitting on the shelf part of our shower the entire time, we didn't touch it but it should have been cleaned before we checked in there!! The coffee machine in the room looked like it was never clean and I couldn't even take the top off to fill the water... So I couldn't even make myself a nice cup of coffee considering I missed breakfast. There was also loud banging and drilling because construction was going on early in the morning which woke us when we wanted to sleep in a bit because we were out late the night before...Cleanliness was a big downfall for this room for the price.... I will probably never stay at a Baymont again because of these events.
