Best Western Bayside Inn

Located near train station neans you will hear the trains at night though you soon get use to them and the location and view make it worth while. Nice pool and good resturant/breakfast. Good family hotel.

If you are a lite sleeper take ear plugs as San Diego is a noisy city in the water front area, as all cities are.

The staff were very nice and helpful. The location was excellent - close to the Gaslamp district, the harbor, and the Balboa park. The hotel was overall nice and clean. Good value for the money.

It advertised a wi-fi connection, but the connection never actually worked even after we spent quite some time on the phone with the IT personnel trying to fix it. Very disappointing! Breakfast was pitiful.

Gym was good but located up the road you had to walk to and was difficult to find the entrance. Shower in room only come out very hot, had to get the electricial guy to come up and fix it, he did but it was still hard to use, the toilet flushed continuously during the nite, I didnt know how to fix it and didnt want the electricial guy to come back up at 1am in the morning so had trouble sleeping with a loud flashing sound. I booked online here, a king room but when I checked was put into a queen room with 2 beds, didnt want a fuss so didnt say anything about it. When I checked out I was over-charged $30 for the room than I booked online, this mistake I had to say something so they correctected it they werent that friendly about it either

the colour scheme on the corridors was a bit dull - brown n beige

The hotel is centrally located.

The swimming pool is very small and always on the shadow.

The Location close to most of the attractions. Conveniently located for trolly bus and train services.

Very slow WiFi connection. We eventually gave up trying to connect with our families in England.

During our stay I liked that the staff was friendly, and very helpful with information about getting around town and providing us tickets we could purchase for the zoo. Our rooms were very clean and comfortable, and I also liked the fact that a hot breakfast was included as part of the package.

There were I could of things I did not like about the hotel, first of all the outside of the building looks kind of scary, but I was impressed with the inside of the hotel and that the toilet had a very weak flush, you had to wait 2 minutes or longer to make multiple flushes.
