Score from 259 reviews Very good
Drinks and food in room very pricy. Had to walk to liquor store for snacks.
Nice room walk across the street to the beach
the room was not ready when we arrived.
how clean the rooms were. Attention to detail.
no tea coffee facility's
The King Bed. Staff were very helpful.
There was no top sheet on the bed. Just a thick doona which was too hot. Soap for both the shower and hand basin would have been good.
Location, location, location. Price, price, price.
Airconditioning blasting and noise, even on low. Noise from neighbours doing ordinary things, walls are thin.
Good location and rooms acceptable.
Only issue I think it is expensive but that may relate to the area.
I lines the fact it was in walking distance to the beach Santa Monica and Venice
Was a little basic could do with a referb and other guests where noisy rather early in the morning
The location.the bed was really comfy.
The bathroom was something out of the 1960.s. the parking was a rip off.and n ok t the price it say.s in the internet.the staff were unhelpful and bit smart. Not cheap hotel.only for location.would not stay again.
Absolutely loved the hotel, so clean and fresh, hotel staff were super friendly and helpful. The location was ideal right near the beach only a short walk to the pier and a short bike ride away from Venice beach, absolutely loved it! wish I could have stayed longer!
It is in a wonderful location. The rooms at the front in particular have a good view of the beach and the sea, ifs also near some good restaurants in Santa Monica.
For the money ($260 a night including parking and taxes) the accommodation leaves something to be desired. The bathroom needs to be completely renewed. The staff at the front desk could be a lot friendlier and more responsive.
Just the location
The description of this property led me to believe we were getting a bit of luxury on our last hotel crossing from Chicago to Santa Monica. That was a joke!!! We paid $512.48 for two nights and no breakfast in a tiny room with no view. Should be taken off the list. Very disappointed indeed. A total rip off. Parking was extortionate too. Wish I'd been able to find a Comfort Inn instead as our stays in those hotels were excellent.
Good location .. modern rooms very clean
Receptionist guy is useless !
Location was great. Room was bright and cozy and bed was comfortable. Wifi was free and pretty decent.
The housekeeping team did not replenish body wash and shampoo in the bathroom (and I stayed there for 4 days). On-site parking was not free.
Liked location for the most part
Cost, condition, and the fact that I wasn't told about the construction where my room was. The area was marked off with caution tape and walkways/stairs closed. It was just ridiculous!
Location Bike hire Staff were helpful
Bathroom was antiquated No real area to relax Didn't realise you had to pre-book parking Room was small for 3 people
This hotel is situated close to the beach which is great. Within easy walking distance to Santa Monica pier and a 20 minute walk to Venice Beach. Room was basic but clean. Quite expensive but not surprising given the location.
Great location close to pier, Main Street and 3rd Street Promenade and of course, the beach. Bed was most comfortable and had the best sleep in years. Staff was reserved but efficient.
We were fortunate to have a parking pass but I can see that it could be inconvenient since there aren't enough spaces for all guests if the hotel is full.
Location: near of beach and just a few minutes walking to the Pier Santa Monica
The location is fantastic - right on Santa Monica Beach
REALLY loud late night neighbors
Location is amazing just on the ocean.
Bed mattress wasn't comfortable at all.
Staff were friendly and helpful and went above and beyond for me. Amazing spacious room with a beachy vibe and the room I stayed in was made up like a bedroom with a dresser and so on. Location is perfect and neighbourhood is very friendly and you feel safe. Internet was also a plus! It was very sturdy and reliable
Theres no faults
Location was fabulous. Rooms were comfortable. The little courtyard garden was lovely.
Location. Free WIFI
Bathroom needed updating. Paying for car parking.
Location was great! Close to the Location was great close to the beach without being too close to Santa Monica Pier with all of it's carnival type atmosphere. The room was very small although there was plenty of storage. The bed was comortable and the bedding was like new. Staff was very helpful.
Had to pay $20.00 to park in the hotel lot although that did not seem unusual for the beach area.
This hotel really more like a motel has an excellent location you are steps away from the beach where the big name hotels are such as shutters on the beach. The staff was helpful with things like chairs for the beach and bikes.
The rooms seemed to be recently upgraded but it was obvious it was done on a budget I know the dresser is from ikea and I think if more money was put into it you would feel like you were at a hotel versus a motel. Also it was obvious our room was not cleaned over our 4 day stay the bed was made everyday and new shampoo added but no other cleaning which was a let down. For the price you are in a good spot on the beach close to all the action of Santa Monica and the highways to LA. We were out for full days so just needed a place to sleep so this did the job but if you're looking for anything more some of the other brand name hotels are a better choice. They also make you pay for parking $20 a day this was the only hotel to charge for parking on our trip down the coast.
