I love everything your hotel was extremely eclectic and your staff was wonderful
The worst thing was the prices of your drinksbut it was wonderful that we could take them out on the front porch
The front porch and location to the beach is hard to beat. Great value on the rooms for an oceanfront location.
If you can avoid the limited view rooms I would suggest it. We were looking for inexpensive so I can't complain about the room to much but if you can avoid room 107 I would recommend it. The room is in the corner which backs up to the elevator and you can pretty much guarantee you'll hear everyone come in till 2-3 in the morning. For the price I wasn't expecting more.
cute hotel-vintage wonderful staff yummy resteraunt
loud garbage truck in parking lot at 530 am
Boardwalk Porch 2 watch Car Cruise Parade.
Something bit me twice & my wife once while sleeping. We had 2 double beds. "Go Figure" ?
Hotel was on boardwalk. Nice to sit on front porch and watch waves and relax and read a book and meet new friends. Overall, staff very friendly. Restaurant was good but pricy. Little shops and cafe on ground floor had excellent service. Loved the morning breakfasts.
maid service didn't leave enough samples of shampoo/soap for 3 people each day. Had to go to front desk to request supplies. The 2nd day we were there we left in our car and when we came back we entered the parking lot. We were in the process of placing our hotel pass car on the mirror when the parking attendent came knocking on the window and rudely asked why we were there. Told him we were staying at the hotel. He said I needed to have the card in place at all times on the mirror. That is illegal and a hazard to have items hanging while you are driving. He didn't give us time to put the card up as I was putting card in park. Very rude and I didn't appreciate being treated like that.
The location was convenient for us to walk everywhere we wanted to go.
The room stayed very warm.
It's on the boardwalk
Friendly, cozy great fall rates. Second year we stayed will be back next year
I loved the feel and decor of the hotel. The rocking chairs on the deck overlooking the ocean was relaxing. Great location right off the boardwalk. Also, Tommy the bartender was fun and personable.
The staff was very unprofessional and unhappy.
The hotel is right on the boardwalk and steps from the beach. The staff was friendly.
Our room was well worn. The carpet was torn, the tub drained extremely slow, the bed frame had been broken and repaired but still wobbled, and the daily cleaning left much to be desired.
old hotel, but kept up to date. staff eager to please. parking handy and easy to find,
Really did not find anything about hotel to complain about. Its many years add to its charm. Look forward to staying there again.
The location was great right on the boardwalk. We were only there for 1 night. The hotel is old put had some nice features like the outside porch overlooking the ocean.
The room had an odor that we couldn't put our finger on. We asked for another room but the hotel was booked solid because of a wedding that day. We opened the windows and that made it a lot better. The room location itself was terrible, overlooking the parking lot and a lower rooftop with 2 large air conditioning units.
-love the location -mood and the music they played was calm and sweet. -people working there was very friendly. -parking lot was very convenient and large.
As always the staff is very friendly and helpful. I love the maids too!! I love the convenience of being right on the boardwalk and the rocking chairs. The Italian restaurant has awesome food!
Loved that it was right off the boardwalk and beach. The staff was very nice
This hotel is very old and you can tell. The carpets were stained. The beds didnt have fitted sheets on them. Our room didnt have a shower curtain. The shower kinda gross and it didn't drain right
Location, nice porch settings
Being yelled at for smoking on wrong side of porch, NO SIGNS STATED where you could or could't smoke..
Perfect location - great front porch. Very historical place. Plenty of parking.
The noise between floors kept us up the first night. The second night there was loud deejay music blasting from the restaurant just below our room. The toilet water actually vibrated. We complained and were told it would stop at 11:00 p.m. We thought this was too late but could not do anything about it.
location on boardwalk
breakfast not available in hotel
I liked the location, the free parking, the easy access to the beach, the old wood paneling, the bar with live piano and singer, and the very friendly staff. Food was very good too. The old elevator is a work of art. The place screams 50's.
My room floor was uneven, a little sloped, and it felt unsettling. The HVAC equipment was outside my window and it buzzed loudly all night. The room looked old and a bit musty. No closet or hangers.
The location was the only good thing about this hotel.
Our first room had a leaky ceiling that was dripping onto one of the beds and smelled liked mold. They moved us to another room that was not much better. Very old and run down the entire hotel has a musty smell and blankets were stained. We demanded a refund and will never I back there again!!
location to everything and good parking
no refrigerator or soda machines near that worked
Everything I paid for three nights and only stayed one night totally the worst hotel I've ever seen
that all of the amenitities were in all in one facality
The bar is independant....... not good for business, also not munchies to order.
Proximity to the beach and boardwalk. Nice restaurant.
Front desk person didn't sound nice when we called around midnight to ask for wifi password. Poor quality of WiFi connection - drops every 15 seconds; noisy outside AC units, so we couldn't keep our window open at night.
