Beach Tropics Motel  

Motel is located on an excellent beach for surfing and boogie boarding. The pool was clean and nice and it was quite relaxing. The room was clean but the bed was uncomfortable. TV and fridge worked good. I didn't use microwave or coffee maker. The staff of the two ladies I met were very nice and made me feel welcome. There are a lot of rules and regulations but I don't mind them. Keeps good people as guests. I asked about the rooms in the front of the ocean and will consider going to stay in one of them for 2-3 days if it is allowed. I feel I will be known by then and will start to build a good relation with Beach Tropic Motel.

I didn't like that my imprint of my AMX credit card was not torn up in front of me. I was told only the owner and the owner's son are the ones that do this after a period of time that insures the charge goes thru. It made me feel the owner and his son don't trust people. If I pay my room with my credit card and it is a legitimate charge I won't put a stop payment on it. I am concerned about credit card information getting stolen and sold for profit from unreputable establishments. I would have felt better if my imprint was ripped up after I checked out.

It was on the ocean.

It was dirty. Didn't provide shampoo. Just run down and kind of gross.

Clean and close to the beach. Within walking distance for food and pharmacy.

I had a brother and sister that live close by, they were not able to visit and use the facilities.

I loved that the pool and beach were a stone's throw from our room. The room is very small, but we only used it to sleerp and shower. This is a no frills destination, but tbe beach and pool are amazingly cool.

Location was right on the beach. Pool available. Chaise lounges available. Staff was limited but nice to us.

Very small rooms, very plain. NO ICE MACHINE. No parking for a guest, or permission to have a visitor due to "fire marshall orders for room capacity" ??!! Coffee maker was yucky.

Very clean and nice people to work with!! It was cold and our room had no heater so the brought us a heater and blanket so was very comfortable.they were right on the beach which was great!

The weather to be warmer to enjoy the beach more! No fault of the hotel!!

They told me the 50.00 deposit would not be taken out of my debit card,but just a hold until we left without any problems. But when we left they said it may take 3 or 4 days to release the hold on my 50 dollars. I don't like they lied to me about that.

Dirty,Very used small room, wc doesnt work well. Very expensive for such a place. Would not recommened to stay there.

worth the drive to be close to our friends and yet far enough away. close to restaurants and shops to bicycle too.

I thiught the bed was uncomfortable.

The room size shown on your website was decieving. A family of four could not have stayed very long in such a small room. They have to many rules! The pool closed to early. There reason for that was the pool light did not work.when traveling with small children they like to swim at night. No unregistered guest.so if you were meeting family they would not be allowed to visit you on the pproperty.i would not recommend this motel if you are traveling with children.

ABSOLUTELY nothing!!!! Dirty, curtains did not close, BUGS, small room, water pressure out of bathroom sink- POOR, lady at check in RUDE.... insisted that I was someone else, called me ignorant because I told her who she was referring to was NOT me, would NOT listen to what I was telling her, asked to speak with manager and was told I would have to come back the next day, told me to get out, took my paperwork and would NOT give it back said that she did not care that it belonged to me. Copied my driver's license and still insisted that I was a Cindy somebody.

The small, quiet motel, with it's friendly &accomodating staff, was everything we'd hoped it would be &more. The rooms were a little on the small side, but had all the extras we needed. Lots of great restaurants &activities in the area. The beach was gorgeous &relaxing. We are already planning our next trip back, as this will be our "get away" place for a long time to come!

Close to beach and walking distance to many restaurants.

Don't go to the beach during lovebug season. Swarms of lovebugs. You couldn't even be outside of your room. Don't lose your room key. Highway robbery to replace it. I could have stayed at the Doubletree Inn and Suites for what this weekend cost me at the Beach Tropics. The staff are not friendly. Their faces might crack if they were to smile at you. They were not knowledgable about anything in the area.

The staff was amazing. We literally bought our tickets last monday night 4/29/13 for 5/1/13-5/4/13....Surf was on fire and we headed to Indialantic/sebastian inlet to surf...AMAZING. I will forever stay there, literally right on the beach. Clean, everything you need for a quick get a way that doesn't cost an arm and a leg. Highly recommend!!!
