Walkable to H Street (10mins), DC Mall (15mins), Georgetown (20 mins), even Union Station (one hour). Bed was awesome. Amenities were clean and functioned properly.
There is a restaurant/club in the hotel and you can definitely hear their music, even on Sunday until at least 11pm. Our room was facing the street so we could hear some pedestrians on the weekend - not too bad. The staff is hit or miss with politeness, but overall never bad. TV volume could not go loud at all, but that was particular to our room since I overheard the neighbor's TV.
Excelent location, fantastic room and bed
wifi has extra cost of $12 which for the cost of hotel is surprising
-Taxi is convenient. - Hotel is located in the center of the city D.C.
-No free Wifi. -No free water everyday.
I didn't have to drive home drunk or pay surged prices for Uber after a Halloween bar crawl. Thanks.
A restaurant manager literally confronted me in the lobby of the hotel over a previous yelp review of the restaurant side. Although I was in the hotel side, this crazed woman actually stalked me at check out.
Good location Lots of places around Bed was soft
Had a door that connects to another persons room Whole bathroom floor looked like a shower Didn't have a tub( i think they gave me a handicap room)
doorman was nice and helpfull
the front desk staff I encountered on checking in. However, found the morning staff the following day to be pleasant and helpful
NICE & FRIENDLY STAFF
Staff treatment was good
The hotel was clean and very comfortable. The location was great and the staff was great (we had an emergency issue and they helped us very much!)
The parking is very very very expensive (37 + tax = 43$ per night), wi- fi is not free (12& per day) which is crazy!
Good breakfast for $12
Small bathroom, overwhelmed front desk with too few staff for assistance, business services has ancient dell computers and printers with one piece of paper, low to average ambience
The location was decent
There were so many issues that were had here I barely know where to start. Their systems went down do couldn't check in for over an hour so was late to my meetings, the fire alarm went off an they evacuated the building when there was no fire or reason and didn't offer any consulation, the valet price for an hour was ridiculously high, etc. I WOULD NEVER STAY HERE OR RECOMMEND ANYONE TO STAY HERE EVER!!!!! It ruined my trip
Good size room Walking distance to white house etc.
Water in room turned out not to be complimentary and from Norway. Also did not taste very nice. Access swipe cards did not work very well.
The room had a lot of space, and it was very clean.
The temperature of the room. The control wasn't working and the room was too cold all the time (61º). It was chilly at nights! The two persons in the front desk were friendly but the problem was not solved.
5 minutes walk to White House; although in a center, the neighborhood is quiet; some nice cafes and restos are nearby
Have to pay for WiFi!?
Peaceful environment in the middle of the city.
Internet disconnects every few minutes. Needs improvement.
Central location near great restaurants, shopping etc. Good security.
Decor a bit tired.
I was offered a package through a direct reservation with the hotel, confirmed by email by the hotel, that was afterwards not respected.
Clean, Comfort, near interesting places
Pros, hotel was in a good location, staff was nice.
AC unit in room was broken. A white cloud would come out if the ac unit periodically (not sure if it was freon). Room was so hot. We had to ask them twice to fix it. Tne second time they tried to fix it but it didn't really work well. Room was so small. No fridge. Old wall paper decoration.
Everything, service, location and the friendly staff.
I liked the location of the hotel, which is why I reserved 2 rooms. I was traveling with my wife and two kids, and a friend with a kid.
But there was a big BUT. When we arrived to the hotel at 1.30 in the morning, the guy said they didn't have rooms. And he went further to cheat us by saying he will send us to Sheraton. But it turned out to be a low class hotel, what you would call a hostel in Europe. But after I called Booking.com, they came to their sense and received us the next day, but still treated us nasty.
Staff was horrible over charged me for my room. Had to call a couple times to get an expaination. Didn't get a king bed when I paid for a king bed got two double beds but wasn't really mad about that. Valet is $37 plus a hidden fee
We stayed for 6 days for a convention near by. All the staff member were friendly and extremely helpful. Prompt attention was paid by the staff members regarding resetting the safe box and a problem concerning the air conditioner. Our room was always clean and settle. We only had breakfast one day and we love it, but the other days we didn't have time because of our convention. The room size was really comfortable, we were three women at the same room.
The one thing we didn't like about this hotel is there are not subways near by, so must of the times we had to walk to the convention center or take a taxi ($10-12 every time). But if you are in comfortable shoes is a great walk distance. Also there's few restaurants near by, but we manage every time at DuPont Circle and 17th street. We only went to the downstairs bar one time and there was a private party, at least they didn't have any problem let in us in. Never went to the skybar.
- Location - Comfort - Style
- Staff was unfriendly and unhelpful (Except for a manager named Steve) - The hotel added phony small charges. - No self parking. - Lousy selection in the hotel's restaurant - Elevator requires using the key card, which is inconvenient.
No free Wi-Fi. Expensive Laundry service. More expensive than a Holiday Inn but with less complimentary amenities.
