    Pros, hotel was in a good location, staff was nice.

    AC unit in room was broken. A white cloud would come out if the ac unit periodically (not sure if it was freon). Room was so hot. We had to ask them twice to fix it. Tne second time they tried to fix it but it didn't really work well. Room was so small. No fridge. Old wall paper decoration.

    Room is dirty and very small bathroom. No microwave and refrigarator. Lamps not working.

    Nothing, after 4 hours drive and I was in this hotel customer service was not well come, nobody wants to help us with luggage and Nottingham was in there responsibility. Room was unclean an in bathroom was a lot of hear was in floor and room was noisy when we ask about Cheng the room thy just said the only they can do for us to refund the money. It was 8:40 at night and I was booked that hotel about more than months ago form booking.com. and they don't care your driving to stay in hotel for relaxing. Actually manager of hotel was very bad I never had that experience before.

    Location is good, around 8 mins walking to subway station and near the downtown. Room is spacious and clean.

    The amenities in the room is basic. No fridge, no electronic kettle to make tea or coffee. Not really a good value for money. But this is DC,perhaps this is common.

    Housekeeping respected my privacy, and I appreciated the security of the building, especially after hours

    The hold they put on my credit card was more than the cost of the entire stay. And it is still listed as a hold. When I called to inquire they told me it would be removed in 3-5 biz days so if it doesn't disappear by tomorrow I will be further perturbed.

    location and price were great. staff was very friendly.

    1) we were charged for internet when we were told that we would not be charged. Called manager of hotel to complain and he has not returned our call. 2) every day we needed to replace room keys. a bit of a distraction to easy in and out of hotel. 3) staff sould have informed us about noise from night club above. it did not bother us but it would be considerate to have been told about it in advance.

    Beds were nice with firm mattresses - good for my back. Staff at the Front Desk was pleasant, helpful and quite efficient.

    Carpets were a very dark colour and while the room was comfortable it had a dark feel about - would recommend lighter pastel and some bright colours to make the general ambiance more "upbeat".

    The staff were personable, attentive, and very accommodating to all our questions and needs. Our suite was large and comfortable and always very clean. The rooftop lounge/deck, with its many small, intimate sitting areas, was a fun spot to go to have drinks & appetizers,listen to music, and have a nice, but limited view of the city. Great that the hotel offers parking facilities.

    Nice spacious rooms, helpful staff.

    The restaurant (Beacon Grill) is horrible. Food is OK, but the service is so bad I wished I never went there. So if you have time for breakfast, I suggest that you enjoy it elsewhere.

    good location, very comfortable beds, and rooms were clean. Weekends are a great value! weekdays not so much but it was close to my destination. Hotel food was good! Overall a nice stay

    $35 for valet parking plus tip adds up if you use your car. Really dislike being charged $12 for internet use :-( and for a longer stay, this would be a really big negative for me. No coffee in lobby!

    Location is very convenient and facilities are ok for a short stay.

    Staff was very unhelpful and made you feel like they were always doing you a favour. Had to ask for everything twice as each time we kept getting bits and pieces of information. Breakfast was yummy but incredibly overpriced. Unacceptable that, in this day and age, we had to pay for WiFi in our room. We also didn't appreciate the fact that they charged a 100$ deposit per night to our credit card without us knowing as the form we were requested to sign (which aparently contained this information) we were told was only an acknoledgement for a fine for smoking in the room. Timetables were also very inconvenient: Saturday at 10am breakfast room was closed, Friday at 11pm bars were closed too!! So nothing terrible happened, but all in all it was an unpleasant stay. Would not go back.

    Location was good.

    Rather "retro" all the way, beyond the decor, Wifi was only PAID, no refrigerator bar in room, had to go looking for ice on every other floor, felt like I had travelled back in time, TV screen obscured by closet doors everytime you wanted to open anything and not visible except from bed: no option to work from the desk in the dark corner and see the tv or the sunlight

    Checking out of the hotel and walking out the door. Not a very good stay. Not a very good value.

    Water bottles left in the room are not complimentary despite there not being ANY signs telling you otherwise. $4 per bottle is just a rip off on top of that deceptive practice. For a hotel that portrays itself of higher quality, this is bush league. Same goes for the overpriced guest Internet at $24/day. Staff lack of empathy or enthusiasm was palpable. Restaurant chef's can't cook. Burnt hamburger and stale deserts (not once but twice) for overpriced menu. Shower in room was in need of repair as shower head sprayed water everywhere and plumbing was exposed behind cap. Paper thin walls means that you hear everyone open and closing their doors. Due to weight of doors its sounds like everyone is slamming doors all around you.

    I like the location...easy to find on gps..i like the cleaniness..i like the atmosphere...the environment was lovely...

    I dnt like the pull out couch directly in front of the king bed....no microwave...i dnt like mandatory valet parking...free parking is always a plus...
