Love how close it is to Fenway. No ice machines/vending. Grocery store and 7/11 not too far away.

Staff was courteous and contacted me to confirm my reservation. They accommodated both my late checkin and checkout. As for location, there is a green line subway station barely 20 feet from the front door and travel to the airport is easy and inexpensive. I especially appreciated the email they sent with directions! The inn is charming, with a colonial feel to the room names and decor. I've already recommended the Beacon Inn to family and friends. While accessibility was a huge plus, my room was unfortunately next to the subway line and the noise from the trains was distracting, especially when trying to sleep. I also could not find the thermostat. The room was uncomfortably warm, but I alleviated it a bit by leaving the window open.

Spacious room, King-sized bed. Just opposite to the "T" green line station. Friendly staff. Continental breakfast. When you enter your room, you have to pass through the bathroom to enter the bedroom. Old furniture.

It was an ancient clean place with friendly and helpful staff. Natalia was really helpful. She provided me with some help once my head unexpectedly bumped into the was and I had blood shed. Antony also helped me a lot in internet connection and finding the directions. It did not have enough first aid facilities such as bandage, antibiotic ointment and etc. I hope more fist aid and medical services are provided to the guests as some injuries may unexpectedly happen to them. Sometimes these services could save some people's life.

It is an excellent and safe hotel. Excellent location and transportation is very convenient. The hotel staff are very kind. They even change a large nice room for us for no charge just because my husband made a mistake when he made the reservation . We will choose this hotel if we are back Boston.

I loved staying at the Beacon Inn. The room was spacious and homey. I loved the old fashioned decor. The location is great. The stop for the rail was a few feet from the inn and you can get all over the city with a week pass which cost $15. There are several restaurants and a little market across the street. The staff was so friendly and helpful. Will definitely go back if I'm in Boston again. The bathroom and shower were a little cramped. And the temperature was hard to control.

Charming old row house converted to inn, conveniently close to the hospitals, free wi-fi, very comfortable bed and t stop right outside. Not enough working outlets, but I did find an extention cord in a drawer. Tired bathroom but everything worked.

Charming, renovated old world townhouse in lovely, safe neighborhood. Reasonable price for a huge, clean, comfortable room with 2 king beds, wireless internet, flat screen tv & fridge. Older atomosphere might not be for everybody, but it had much more character than fancy chain hotels @ fraction of the price! Ample continental breakfast (bagels, muffins, pastries, cereal, milk, O.J., coffee). Fresh coffee available 24/7. Friendly, helpful, accomodating (mostly student) staff. Very close to subway making downtown Boston easily accessible. Loved it and would stay again! Since this is an old renovated home, you tend to hear slightly more than you would in other hotels. Staff and the other guests were very quiet & polite during our stay but with hardwood floors and thinner walls than are sometimes found in other hotels, noise carries. For us this was not a major problem, but for some people it might be an issue.

“I liked having breakfast available, how the stairs and elevator on each floor are closed off from the rooms by doors so it's quieter to sleep, the comfort of our king bed and spacious amount of floor area to practice yoga, and how the staff was always ready to answer questions and helpful.” Amy, Vashon |
