Staff was extremely helpful. The lobby and breakfast area was well kept.Waffles were delicious. Room was quiet .Would stay there again .

We were very happy with our stay. We were on a low budget vacation and hj fit into our needs. The hotel exceeded our expectations. Please keep your prices affordable to travellers who cannot afford the higher priced hotels. This was our first stay in a hj since we were both children and after this stay we would definitely stay in hj again.

Night staff was very helpful Even in the rain

The morning clerk was very lax in maintaining the breakfast bar . He refused to make any effort to refill or refresh anything. Never left from behind the desk. I felt as though he had been told to only put out a certain amout of food on order to save money.

There wasn't to much to like, we had a nice view of the salt marshes.

The toilet leaked at the base, bathroom floor was wet, very unsanitary. Toaster didn't work for breakfast, noisy.

It was quite at night.

Hotel is very outdated. Front office staff was unfriendly.

The location wasn't horrible, but it was hard to enter traffic due to line of sight. The staff was courteous but not friendly - no smiles at all.

I requested a handicap room - the toilet was practically under the sink cabinet in the bathroom and nearly impossible to sit on comfortably. The outlet for the iron was barely hanging in the wall. The bed felt like there was no padding between the springs and me.

Front desk guy couldn't print my receipt. Breakfast was below average

Half of the parking was off to the side of the hotel and appeared to be unsafe. Paint flaking of the wall. Shower curtain rod looked like it had been pulled down and they had poorly patched it. Toilet lid was broken. Mildew in ceiling of bathroom.

Advertised with free breakfast. False advertising. Couldn't even get toast. Supposedly a problem with electric wiring. Not the friendliest or cleanest. Would never stay again.

Everything close by the hotel. Made it very easy to find things.

There was roaches in our room, and the "clean" towels had hair all over them. Was disappointed that there where no available power outlets to plug in my phone charger for the night or my computer. Also the cleaning people opened the curtains and left them open after we had them shut for privacy,so all of our belongings could be seen. I don't care to have my stuff on display for anyone to walk by and see and try to steal.

There were holes in the walls, the towels were stained, there was hair on the pillow case and the sliding glass door was unsecured when we got in the room

Room was clean and after the aircraft from the military base stopped it was very quiet. Location was good. Clean, good price and quiet is all we need.

One set of sheets was thread bear and towels could be softer, but for the price, not complaining.

It was close to marine base.

They had the nerve to accuse me of taking something from the motel. I have never been so insulted in my life. I was there to watch my son graduate not steal.i wouldnt steal from no one especially a low class motel like that. Never get my business acain and I do not recomend it for any one else.

Cigarette burns in comforter; stains on carpeting; no lamp on desk; flat pillows; lots of chipped furniture; heater did not work; bugs in the hallway; no hotel supplied shampoo, lotion, conditioner; no plastic coverings for cups for water (which is required by law I believe)

Location only. Manager was rude, had to change one room due to awful smell. Had roaches in the rooms, they were not water roaches, I know the difference. Would have changed hotels, but everyone was booked due to graduation events at local military base. Will not recommend to other military families!!!

I left a personal belonging in the hotel room & they shipped it to me for free all the way to my house ... In Indiana!

I went through a ton of trouble due to forgetting my debit card at home. Me and my friends spent an hour driving around to find a bank to cash a check because the hotel told us that if we did not have a debit card, we must pay in cash. After spending an hour finding a bank to cash a check, once we got to the hotel with the cash, they ended up not even needing my debit card. An hour of my traveling was wasted because of this.

Location was the only good thing about this hotel. It was close to the Parris Island, SC, Marine Base. This is the worst hotel that I have encountered. The health department should be called on them. I have pictures of the poor condition of the rooms. I also meet many people that were very unsatisfied with their rooms. Unfortunately due to the Marine Graduation Ceremony there were no other rooms available in the area.

The hotel was a danger. My room had a picture frame above the bed that was broken. Pieces of glass were all over the bed and floor. To add insult to injury they charged the picture picture frame to my credit card. The rooms had a dirty, musty smell as soon as you entered. The furniture had grease stains and in poor condition. In another room my son-in-law cut himself with a piece a metal that was rusted and hanging on the frame of the glass sliding door. Their toilet was shut off and it wouldn't stop running when turned on. The heater had a burning smell that set off the fire alarm.Too many bad experiences to put down. All these events happened at 1:30 a.m when we we arrived SC.

The hotel is in need of updating. The staff allows people to loiter outside and hang out in the hallways drinking. I would not have stayed here if I had my family with me and if I wasn't a police officer with my off duty weapon. Unfortunately all the other hotels were booked due to graduation.

Nice, cosy motel at a good location.

The pillows didn't have pillowcases and the towels were old and didn't look that clean. There were more reasons to believe that the motel has had its best years.
