Bedford Hotel  

The hotel was excellant! It was close to all the major attractions and had all the facilities that you look for in a hotel. I would definately stay here again and would highly recommend it to my family/friends.

Close to Times Square, 5th Avenue, and the Central Park. The room was great, with a lot of space and a comfortable bed.

There wasn't a microwave in the room, but there was a stove and a refrigerator, and the restaurant in the hotel doesn't offer a 24h room service.

We had a lovely time at the bedford hotel..All staff where friendly and very helpful with booking taxis, mini buses etc...we came accross no problems...and as its new york we didnt spend much time in the room, however the beds were very comfortable and the room was rather spacious ( for New York)..We stayed in a suite.and found we had we had plenty of room ( for all the shopping)...We stayed on the fifth floor, unforunately we could smell the restaurants below a bit when windows where open, but thats not hotels fault, the other half of the group stayed on 11th floor and didnt encounter this problem at all...Hotel could do with an update but apart from that we had a wonderful stay.

It is centraly located with easy asess to most central points.

Friendly and courteous staff. The room was spacious and clean and bed pretty comfortably! I had a room on the 15th floor with a balcony and therefore a great view on the top of the Empire State Building.

The location. Is near grand central and you come and go very easily. The room is correct in size and the bathroom is white.

They don´t clean the room (no vacuum clean) the beds are full of wrinkles when you open it (don´t dream they will open the beds!) I had to complain because it wasn,t done. No replacement of shampoo or sweeteners for the complimenteary coffee, the sugar in the room is old, you an tell they just leave it there. When you ask for shampoo for ex. They answered that I should go floor by floor searching for this things in the storage near the elevators.

The location was really excellent. The bedroom was quite big and the bathroom was pretty nice. It you could book this room at a reasonable price it would be a good deal.

The room decor was very old fashioned and the air conditionning was quite noisy. The room was adequate but not the type of room you would want to spend much time in. The hotel staff were in no way helpful so do not depend on them for any information - have your own research done.

I did not get a non-smoking room, when I had specifically asked for it.

I have stayed at the hotel several times, and always have an excellent stay. The hotel staff are friendly and efficient - and always try to respond to my request for a specific room and view. Location is very good

Faciliies for making tea and coffee are very good, but the hotplate in de luxe studio would benefit from being upgraded

I loved everything about bedford, I went for New Years, my friends and I were loud and they didnt mind, the staff even joined in on the excitement. They allowed us to check in early.

they only thing I didnt like was the bad reviews I read before going which made me scared and the top cover that hotels dont clean looked wore out and in need of being replaced. top cover was dirty, old smelly, and dindgy
