Cleanliness can improve
Staff was not very polite. Coffee maker in the room was broken.
Location was good
Wifi very slow & difficult to login
Bed was very comfortable and pillows excellent. Great central locatoom that was relatively quiet for New York
Staff not overly friendly on reception and concierge desk. Room not properly clean and layer of dust in room. A bit outdated decor.
The location was perfect for the room price.
The room designs are a bit outdated.
The amount of space in the room and the kitchenette were perfect for a family vacation with small children. The location was central so we could easily walk or take the subway anywhere we wanted to go.
Nothing. Everything was great!
Workers must be more polite and helpful!
Only one lift working most of our stay 17 floor s no kitchen only microwave fridge and coffee maker definitely would n eat in bedroom not good value for money
The hotel was very nice and the suite was spacious. It was clean.
The man that checked me out said he would've charged me "a whole lot of money" had he been the one checking me in because I had 2 people over what they considered the "maximum" in the suite...as if I didn't pay enough!
The hotel is quite run down. One of two elevators was out of order 3-4 days, the staff dont have a service elevator so everyone used the one that was working. Get a doorman who at least tries to smile ones in a while...
room is big
too old equipment
Great location in the middle of Manhattan.
Nothing really although they don't do breakfast.
- localization - friendly staff
- noise from the corridor at night
- strategic location - affordable budget - good toilet
- air conditioner, sometimes noise - i need stamp for receipt
The little kitchenette was awesome.
Sprigbox was squeak ing all night long.
1.Receptionist antipathetic 2.Do not meet the promises 3.We got stuck in the elevator on the 14th floor several times We are a family of 7 , we invited four months in advance suite with bedroom and living room and another room with two double beds . We arrived early in the morning and went for a walk in the city . When we arrived in the evening we got two rooms look like rooms in a hostel . " Suite " ( Room 306 or Room 307 ) consisted of a small, stuffy room with two single beds . 3 sofas in the living room were torn and dirty . The mattresses were worn. The toilet was broken . Everything looks very low level . The second room was a " little" better. I went to the receptionist . He was really antipathetic and spoke in a demeaning way . At 23:00 I went to look for another hotel . Found at a higher level at an affordable price . I agreed with the receptionist to come back after I cancel the transaction at Bedford . When I got back to the hotel ( after midnight ) was present another receptionist . I asked to cancel the transaction .Of course I was willing to pay the usual first night . Amazingly he " found" the other rooms on the floor 17 . These rooms were a good standard .
Location and fecility.
Reception staff were very nice and the lady who booked us in was great. We moved from the Dylan hotel as we needed a suite and she let us see the room before confirming.
Wifi was poor in certain parts of the suite. Rooms are dated but comfortable
Location and accommodation
Cleanless and wifi connection
Location Size of room
Decor was very poor (frayed carpets, mould, ripped curtains, dirty matress) Bed fell apart in first room shown!! Suite was advertised with balcony but when arrived these were being refurbished. Noise from refurbishment work No bar facilities as advertised Attitude of front desk staff who laughed when we complained and said it was our problem because we booked through Booking.com!! (Nb Booking .com did nothing to help or resolve our issues during or after our visit - not good customer service as they seemed to side with the hotel rather than us their customers)
The kitchenette was good. Room servitwas nice. The best of all was the guy at the reception desk; he was really helpful and nice to the extent that he helped me carry my luggage out.
The worst thing were the beds. They squeak at any movement during the night and were so uncomfortable to sleep in.
the location, is great and the small kitchen facilities are useful for a cuppa the fridge is also a bonus
As a family of 5 every morning we had to ring reception to receive the 5th towel - but this was attended to right away - the hotel is slightly dated and the 2 sofa beds in the living room tend to sink into the middle
Size of rooms v good
One lift was unserviceable for one day so we took the stairs
Walking distance to Grand Central, Empire state building, Time square. Room relatively big and comfortable even for a party of 5. The staff was friendly and helpful. Great air con.
Week Wifi. No Breakfast [but many restaurants next door]. I had two "old" 4:3 TV's in my room [advertised flat screen TV's]. The beds in the bedroom needs to be replaced.
