It is very close to the UN offices.

They charge a fortune for internet access in the rooms.

The location, kitchenette in room, good bed, compact but efficient bath room, very friendly staff at front desk and door. Very reasonable rate for people like me who work for non-profit organization and we have to keep our admin costs low.

The heater in my room was making tapping noise throughout the night.

The hotel was well placed to see the majority of sites in Manhatten. Our room was a good size and comfortable. The b/fast in the restaurant was good value and was an added bonus being on top of the building to see the city

Walls are thin so could hear the guests next door and guests talking in the corridor

Valet parking. To pick up car to leve, it took at least 45 minutes.

I had a studio that included a small kitchen. The restaurant has a great view.

I don't think the tv worked.

Quiet location near the UN, but just a few blocks away from Times Square, etc. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go. The suite was very roomy. The kitchen was pretty well supplied for our needs.

Our room (suite) was somewhat shabby. The toilet ran every few minutes, stopped, then started again, stopped, started again. The space was big enough that it was not terribly bothersome. The horizontal blinds in bathroom did not close well for complete privacy. The living room curtain metal pull rod was hanging down. A dirty ripped chair in the living room was removed at our request, but not replaced until a second call. But this was the holiday season and the second string staff were probably working. A few other issues were resolved.

We have stayed here before and knew the location was ideal for all the Christmas shopping! The suite we had on the ninth floor was very comfortable. The staff were all very helpful.

There were three banks of lifts and one was out during our stay

Great locaton and room ideal for family of four, spacious and well laid out. Hoel staff very helpful. Would definatly stay there again

Only issue was the external building works during are stay, constant drilling outside window during week days. Being in New York meant we spent little time in the room durting the day

Lacks style. Wifi missing in rooms. Free morning coffee in reception area.

Location is great for exploring midtown and walks up to Central Park.

On arrival there were no cooking utensils for the kitchen. When we asked for some pans the maid had the cheek to tell us that we only needed one and that was what we were getting. She was told in no uncertain terms what we wanted but it took another 24 hours before we got it. Unacceptable. Other than that the reception staff were very helpful and courteous at all times. The hotel does not have many mod cons but that's because it's an old building.

We liked the friendly staff...they were very helpful when we had questions and were more than willing to provide assistance. Our room was very spacious and clean considering it was NYC where space is at a premium. We felt it was a good deal for the price we paid. The location was safe and relatively quiet. We would definitely stay here again when in NYC.

The down side was that it was approx. 6 blocks away from the subway. The furniture in our room was a bit warn, but that did not impact the comfort of our stay.
