Decent room and well situated away from the hustle and bustle but easy to get into the thick of things when necessary. Great restaurants near this hotel.

Very convenient to get to NYC midtown, but being in a quieter and nice area

I had a room with small window, almost could not see the outside I did not have cell coverage in my room

It was really close to the metro, the staff was really friendly, the rooms were very nice

Clean, comfortable, out of the way.

Room on lower floor facing the street was too noisy. If there is a next time I would request a room in the back.

Location was good and also the staff was very nice.

I stayed in 3 stars hotels which had much better rooms. Honestly this was hardly a 3 star room. It was ok for us but we paid the price thinking that it will much more confortable.

Great location, beautiful and quiet neiborhood with good restaurants. the room and the bathroom were big enough. the bed was comfortable - clean sheets. And the employees were polite and helpful.

The a/c system let the cold into the room at nights. The same with the heat during the last 3 hot nights.

this hotel is close to subway, Central Park, museums and shops; very spacious room for NY hotels; friendly staff; I'll stay there again!!!

A fridge (empty) in the room. Metro station only 2 blocks away. A nice Westmarket around the corner, with fresh food, fruits and drinks. Free ice thee in the afternoon when returning from an exhausting day out.

Noisy airco; Can't switch off, too hot in room with 4 persons; Can't open window.Room to small for 4 persons. No space for cloths, no place for luggage. Room needs renovation. Old stuff. Blinds need reparation Roommaid took laundry and some belongings in a paper bag away (I didn't put the bag in the garbage can) Stupid action.Not enough light to read in bed.

Very noise, broken windos, very old!

the staff was helpful and friendly. they changed us to a room with a view when i told them i was promised a view @ check-in. the location was great, a few blocks from grocery stores and the express train to Times Square. They also have parking nearby @ a discounted rate. I would stay here again.

Wifi very unreliable and slow if it connected at all. Being charged for papercup of hot water by coffee concession in hotel lobby.

Location was good.

Was there for 8 days - TV didn't work at all in bedroom until the third day my husband finally pulled it off the wall to find cords had been improperly connected. This was after requesting it fixed and no ever showed up. Signal on both TV's was sporadic whole time. Very hard to control room temp. Furnace didn't work at all last day - and it was cold! Hard to regulate water for shower - no hot water on last day we were there. Rooms are small for the price. Elevators are tiny. Staff was mostly indifferent - nice at the desk, but no follow up on requests. Daily cleaning was fair - especially bathroom.

Room was very clean. Good location in nyc.

Small, unit air conditioner very loud, bathroom was too small and there was no room to put anything. There was also too much construction around hotel. Not a good room for handicapped people. Went for coffee and paid too much and couldn't charge to hotel. Missing some of the amenities that I am used to in a hotel.

Street noise and rather expensive. Smoke detector started beeping in the middle of the night. TV cable reception was poor.

The room was spacious and done nicely. It was not that noisy. The broadway king had lots if windows facing Broadway. Nice view.

The concierge was not knowledgeable. When asked regarding restaurants he had to look on line and when I asked to cancel reservation he made he forgot. Why have one. Front desk knew more.

Friendly Staff, location and the condition on the buildings.

The price is too high for the value, the worst cancelation policy, lack of kitchen services. Plus, Booking.com promised a stand-up comedy show tickets and refreshments at check-in that was dis-continued by Hotel Belleclaire, but the Booking.com website still advertise it.

Good room size, nice staff

They put us in the room next to the crew lounge. Lots of drinking, knocking, and going in and out. We were in town for a wedding and exhausted each night around 9:30. We were kept up until well after midnight. Also the air conditioner in the room sounded exactly like a freight train. I paid $922 for 48 hours in a hotel, the least they could do is get quiet air conditioners. I also believe we were put in that room because we uses booking.com. We were traveling with my mother (she stayed in same room) it's not like we looked like wild kids and it wouldn't matter if they put us next to the crew lounge.

Very friendly, old fashioned, small New York hotel, very well positioned on Broadway mid West side, clean, safe, we spent there one very busy week and were quite satisfied

Some rooms too small for two. Had to change rooms twice. Third room, at a reduced upgrade rate, was satisfactory.
