The hosts were marvelous-very friendly and helpful. Their attention to our comfort was most appreciated. The breakfasts were delicious. They made you look forward to the morning. The location was very convenient for visiting the park and for visiting places outside of the park. The view from the house was breathtaking. It was so pleasant to sit and listen to the birds and look at the mountains and listen to the sound of the rushing water in the river. There isn't anything I didn't like. I would go back there again. It was fantastic.

Eva and Ezzy are like family. They are wonderful host and hostess. Food wonderful; setting exquisitely set in the hills outside of Sequoia. We are chatty so we could have sat and talked alot. As it was, we were greeted upon arrival, chatted a bit and went off to bed. We were headed to the Sequoias the next day. Ezzy got out maps, guidebooks, chains for the car - basically everything we might need to have a great day. After a wonderful breakfast and lots of great Summatran coffee were were off. Gorgeous day. Back to the Bellevue at night. Sat and chatted for awhile. I went off to bed, have worn myself out but Bill stayed up with them to midnight chatting. Ezzy is a retired chemical engineer; Bill is a civil. So two kindred spirits met. Next morning, after a wonderful breakfast and more talking (these two are so interesting to talk with) we had to bid adieu and drive home. Not without tips on a great fresh fruit stand, murals in Exeter and a promise to swap bread recipes. It really was like staying with relatives who you just don't see very often. Hope to go back and take my kids. Older kids. Little kids here wouldn't be a good idea. They have lots of souvenirs from their travels out. A little too tempting for little fingers. My kids are 18 and 21. They would love to go to the Bellevue. When I got home Eva sent me some pictures of a mother bear and cubs in her yard. I MISSED THEM!!!! Rats!

Great view, delicious breakfast, entertaining owners, good sauna. Very minimal internet, kids under 12 are not allowed, unpaved road leading to guesthouse from main street is tough to drive on, especially when it is raining, good for 4x4 vehicle.

I thought our hosts were delightful, friendly and welcoming. The breakfasts were the best we have had on our 12 day trip around CA. The food was so fresh and well prepared including the fresh squeezed orange juice. The bed was also very comfortable. The driveway to the guest house was very steep, bumpy and rocky.

Everything was fantastic and the owners Ozzy & Eva have the place down to a science and they know how to treat people. This place is like being at home and you don't want to leave. The breakfast is first class and you're in for a treat. Very romantic and it made us feel young again which is a nice thing for seniors and for anyone who appreciates being treated like a king and queen. We have travelled all over the world and the U.S., and we would highly recommend this guesthouse.

We book this place in view of the good comments at this page, and we were not disapointed. The place is charming, quiet and peaceful. It is 10 minutes drive from Sequoia Park Gate. The host couple is very friendly, we got many useful tips, and all at all the impression of being well taken care of. The breakfast was splendid indeed as many other comments pointed out. For dinner you need to drive at least 10 minutes to Three rivers. There also hotels in Three Rivers but we got the impression that we made the right choice staying at the Guesthouse, because Three Rivers look pretty much uninteresting, with a couple of good places for dinner, but dos not give the feeling of being in Nature as much as the Bellevue Guesthouse. The community should fix the road to arrive because it was very damaged.

We chose this hotel for its location surrounded by nature, and this we certainly received. Fabulous view of Morro Rock and the valley. Also, we wanted to have "home-made" breakfast instead of unpleasant hotel stuff, and we rectainly received that, as well. The house is a bit off the main road, but it is located in the beuatiful garden, quet and romantic. Perhaps, interior was not exactly our style, but it was certainly distinct and made us feel like at people's home, feel as quests, not the room tenants. Also, I should have spent enough attention to some of previous comments which warned about intimate, erotic pictures which are literary everywhere in the house. As we travelled with children, this was not the most appropriate interior for our group.

We werden erg gastvrij ontvangen. Wel even doorrijden.

Location - near the National Park entrance. Set amidst wonderful countryside. The owners provide a personal service and information on the Park and surrounding countryside. Wonderful and memorable breakfasts – the best in 17 days in California. It is good that shoes are not allowed to be worn inside the house and subsequently the carpets are very clean. Description of accommodation is misleading – internet access is via owner’s mobile phone hotspot and although maybe able to get emails etc. which is free - there is no ‘wired internet in all areas’. Although I am sure owners would allow use of their microwave and fridge it should be noted that these are not in the rooms. There are no en suite facilities and the bathroom / toilet is shared with another room.
