Clean and comfort

Got a free upgrade from a single King room to a suite because our room was not ready when we checked in.

They didn't have an extra blanket and the kitchen garbage was not emptied (it was full).

had a bug like critter under my sheets just on top of the matress cover, it wasn't big like a bed bug.

I arrived very late. The receptionist was friendly, accommodating and efficient. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was adequate.

Convenient for visiting Western Washington University

It was cllose enough to downtown Bellingham that travel was convenient. It was right off the freeway so travel to nearby towns was easy.

I felt it was a bit overpriced for the accomodations and the first staff member we dealt with was not very friendly.

Good, if all you need is reasonably clean and comfortable at a reasonable price, plus, wifi and a simple breakfast. The pillows are just right, not too soft or hard.

First impression was not good at first because the girl who checked us in speaks in an unprofessional manner and I almost walked out right then and there because of that.

The staff were great, everyone went out of their way to be helpful and friendly. The hotel and rooms were clean and tidy. As we stayed a few days it was nice to have a fridge and microwave in the room. The complimentary breakfast was one of the better ones we have experienced with lots of choices. Would definitely stay here again.

Strong perfume smell in the halls and on the bedding

Staff was super helpful. Warm cookies just out of the oven in the afternoon!

Location is just off the freeway and the third level rooms are at eye level and it's noisy. We moved to the first floor and it was quieter, but there were cars driving by all night. It is interstate 5, so the major highway in Washington that leads to the Canadian Border.

For us it was great, quiet, fast to get to the airport. We would stay there again.

hotel is to close to the highway, rooms on the highway side are toooooo noisy. Kept us awake all night.

The front office staff was very helpful. I had a problem that I created and they really tried to help me solve it. I was really impressed at the extra mile they went to in order to try to help me.

This was a very last minute booking and we got excellent value for our money. Staff was helpful and friendly. We asked for a quiet room location and got exactly that. The beds were clean and comfortable and it was a very peaceful night even through the hotel is located next to a busy freeway exit. The breakfast exceeded the expectations we held after reading previous reviews - the strawberries for the waffles were an appreciated and unexpected touch.

Everything else! Amazingly friendly staff up front and maids, so helpful. Great daily breakfast, though they could extend it to 11 a.m. for late risers :) Rooms were so clean and nice, moderately priced. Perfect for families and kids!

The spa broke one night, wasn't hot but that was just once.

It seemed to be clean. The towels were not too skimpy.

Nothing else. The room was absolutely minimal: hardly room to pass betwen the beds and the furniture on the other wall, no extra paper products (1/2 roll of toilet paper and no replacement, the sink was very slow to drain, there was almost no horizontal surface space in or around the bathroom facilities and it was at least $30 more expensive than several of the other standard motels in the area.

Really enjoyed the atmosphere and the breakfast is excellent. It is lovely to have access to the internet and the use of the printer. We love that there is a free shuttle to the airport. Furthermore you we were able to park our vehicle for no extra fee being we stayed at this Guesthouse before we left for our vacation and when we returned. Very excellent service and for that we are so very appreciative.
