Very comfy beds. We had a twin room and the beds had olenty of space under for storage plus bedside table and desk. Wardrobe. Bathroom was good, nice shower. Excellent wifi connection - free.
Near lift with some noise but not an issue at all.
Location worked for us. Internet service was good. Clean.
We were prepared for a small room but would have appreciated having a bureau or a light in the tiny closet so we could unpack and stay organized. There was no place to put our suitcases away and only one bedside table. Coffee was only .50 but no change available at front desk or from the machine.
Free wifi, nice clean room, nice towels, location
Small room and small bathroom.
Very clean and the staff was there for you. The location was excellent.
The room size.
location convenient to subway station and a Starbucks
The staff was unhelpful and uncommunicative. They seemed to think that asking for a receipt on $660 item was a major imposition, and I had to wait almost 10 minutes for it while they helped other people. The bathtub was dangerously narrow for someone showering. The uncarpeted hallway floors meant that every early-morning departure served as an alarm clock. The wireless was so slow that I could not even do my email. Yet free wifi was why I chose this hotel!
The Wi-Fi didn't work well most of our stay; The room was TINY!
The room is too small
The room is way too small. I would appreciate a single bed so I could have room for a chair. A room without a chair is not good. Also, there should be a coffeemaker (hot water) in the room.
Well located by subway 86th Upper West Side
Ridiculously over priced at over $250-00 dollars per night, I know NYC is expensive but the room was tiny and no cupboard so couldn't hang anything.
there is no acoustic insulation. you can hear everything form any where in the hotel, conversations, elevator, bathroom noise. neighbors snoring. It is impossible to sleep without ear plugs.
This is a hotel in NYC so be prepared because it is tiny but definitely functional. Anyway, who goes there to stay in your room? Location was great for hopping on the subway and getting anywhere in the city. Good price. We'd stay there again.
The help at front desk, was great in helping on places to eat, and service to airport.
Did not have anything to dislike.
The location is excellent, close to metro. There is grocery shop nearby to get breakfast, they have huge range of fresh fruit. There are few fast foods around. The hotel was easy to find, it is quite modern inside.
The room was very small - but we expected that for the price. However the bed was extremely small!!! We could not sleep...:-( I think it was 180cm x 165cm max. For two people - really?!
Buen precio Buena ubicacion COMODO!!
no haber estado mas dias ahi
Location, clean, polite staff.
It is tiny. In NY, you won't be in your room, but it can be claustrophobic...and I'm not a heavy set person. If you're ok with snug quarters, you'll be fine. :)
Cleaniness Friendly staff Good neighbourhood Close to subway Price was reasonable for NYC
Very loud rattling A/C units. Rooms are very small. There was a mistake with our booking the Belnord was not made aware of the reservation through booking.com but the staff were able to accomadate us with a room.
Air conditioner was quite loud and so noisy. There's only one trash bucket in the toilet. Wifi pretty slow!
Our room was clean. The location was nice, the Central Park was near.
The room was small.
Staff were helpful, towels were clean, our room was not small, it was facing to street but still it was not noisy.. We were able to leave our luggage in the luggage room after check-out.. We were at 5th floor, wifi was also great..
Location was ok because hotel was opposite of the subway and main red line 1.. But it is far from Midtown.. I wish breakfast was included than it would be perfect..
1) Cleanliness and good location. 2) Wifi is working well for those who have their laptop with them.
1) Most front desk staff do not know much of NY City or even the hotel's immediate neighborhood and so could not appropriately direct Guest to areas they need to address their immediate needs or little problems of where to get chargers for their phones. 2) The business centre attached to the hotel is not functioning properly. For instance, you cannot easily check your e-mail and the front desk staff cannot assist you in your air bookings or flight rescheduling. The services need some improvement.
very clean, quite neighborhood, well located, good fare,
very small rooms
Our room at the Belnord was as expected and we knew it would be small with only about 20 ins he of space around the small double bed. The room can be best described as a cabin on a cruise ship with a nice en suite. It was spotlessly clean and exactly what was required for a base. There is everything you will need within walking distance of the hotel location. The subway is also just a hindered meters away.
Cleanliness Location Friendly and helpful Latin staff
Very small rooms Noisy at nights Unfriendly, unhelpful not Latin staff
