Location, clean, polite staff.
It is tiny. In NY, you won't be in your room, but it can be claustrophobic...and I'm not a heavy set person. If you're ok with snug quarters, you'll be fine. :)
Air conditioner was quite loud and so noisy. There's only one trash bucket in the toilet. Wifi pretty slow!
Staff were helpful, towels were clean, our room was not small, it was facing to street but still it was not noisy.. We were able to leave our luggage in the luggage room after check-out.. We were at 5th floor, wifi was also great..
Location was ok because hotel was opposite of the subway and main red line 1.. But it is far from Midtown.. I wish breakfast was included than it would be perfect..
very clean, quite neighborhood, well located, good fare,
very small rooms
Our room at the Belnord was as expected and we knew it would be small with only about 20 ins he of space around the small double bed. The room can be best described as a cabin on a cruise ship with a nice en suite. It was spotlessly clean and exactly what was required for a base. There is everything you will need within walking distance of the hotel location. The subway is also just a hindered meters away.
Cleanliness Location Friendly and helpful Latin staff
Very small rooms Noisy at nights Unfriendly, unhelpful not Latin staff
Location is good, nearby Central Park and subway station. Friendly staff. Clean rooms.
Room, bed and bath are far too small! Air condition is quite noisy...
Really liked the location. It was on the same street at a subway, which for $31 for the whole week is unbeatable. The hotel was small, but clean. Room was quite tight, but I wasn't there often enough. Definately stay there again though.
Not much, except maybe the size of the room.
Yes the rooms are small but it was a small price to pay for No Bed Bugs in a great area! Really handy to the subway and lots of restaurants. Can walk to Central Park as well.
Rooms could have been slightly bigger but we were only in it yo sleep.
you can hear the voices of people from rooms even on the other side of corridor. you can feel some vibrations on the floor sometimes, may be related to the heating system. and well you do not have that much view
The bed was very uncomfortable.
Location,Cleanliness, free Wi-Fi
poor facilities that make the staying of 8 days in this poor room in the hotel to suffer, At least I would expect to find in the hotel a room for variation things, like working with leptop, eating and etc.
The location, the cleanliness is perfect
We think there is missing a place to eat and the luggage room stinks
Location was very good, everything is very close within this hotel. WIFI worked just fine, staff was friendly. Nothing to complain about. I would surely come back and recomment it to my friends.
Location. Decent neighborhood, quiet side streets but very close to subway.
Few decent hotels on Upper West Side
I liked the cleaness of the room, very quiet hotel, staff was professional all the time, the location was excellent too, they clean my room every day and were very nice
Good location for Central Park
Seemed to have very thin walls, sometimes difficult to sleep at night because of people in corridors and other rooms.
We've stayed for 10nights and I guess that is why we got the room just like from the first picture. It was quite big and very clean. But I saw other rooms there and they were tiny, so either we got lucky or you just have to stay long enough to get a decent room. After all we loved our trip and room. Also, it is sooo close to the subway station and location is really great! I would recommend this hotel to anyone (at least as long as you'll get our room #417)
- wi fi sucked most of the time - especially at nights A/C units from other rooms (I guess especially from the rooms downstairs) were really loud and they were vibrating like hell, but we just got used to it after first night
The location. In my opinion upper west side is one of the best places to stay,in order to visit NYC
The rooms were small but it's normal for Manhattan hotels
rooms very small
Location (quiet and safety), Clean, close to the underground
small room if you have more than one luggage for person. Small bed for 2 person. Common problems in budget hotels in NY.
The size of the room is good. There is space to put clothes. The bathroom is also very clean. There was no noise during night time.
Everything was ok.
The hotel is clean, good location, rooms are clean with wifi in the room. Nice reception
Rooms are slightly small, no coffee or tea facilities inside rooms
The absence of a coffee maker in the bedroom.
The most important asset to this hotel was the cleanliness. Enjoyed the location, close to subway, residential area.
The staff was not very friendly, not personable at all. The room was so small that it was uncomfortable.
