Great location; comfortable bed; clean room. Spotless bathroom
Tiny room, I weren't traveling alone it would have been claustrophobic. That being said it was an excellent choice for this trip and I would certainly book there again.
Great location! Really like the upper west side.
Room was extremely small. I knew it would be small for the price and location but I was still shocked when I first opened the door.
The location is excellent on the upper West Side - convenient to shopping, restaurants, and transport to major attractions but away from the most crowded areas. The room was small but clean, attractive, with a comfortable bed and a modern bathroom. For NY, it was good value but is very basic, no frills.
The room was very small (8' X 10') with no closet; furnishings consisted of bed, bedside table, and hanging rack for clothes. It would not be comfortable for more than one person.
good location - not far from the main tourist attractions, but already quiet.
very small room (not enough place to fully unpack your baggage) and high price (compared to other places in the US, but quite normal for NYC)
The hotel was very, very clean. The upper West side of NYC is very safe. Bed was comfortable. Quiet. Maids and staff were helpful, though we did not have alot of demands. Room was completely adequate for us as we did not have much luggage.
No coffee in the room.
If you want a bed that is comfortable in a location that is close to everything that New York has to offer you will enjoy your stay at Belnord. Broadway @ 87th is 20 metres from the front door and the subway is a further 120 metres. Central Park is 700 metres east. Other guests have commented on the lack of a hotel restaurant but high quality take out food is available within a few minutes walk in any direction. 42nd st is a 15 minute subway ride away.
The room is very, very small
Great location on upper west side. Rooms are small but this is about the best option for a good room with its own bathroom in this area. Easy access to subway (lines 1, 2 and 3 less than two blocks away, A line 4 blocks away) and to Natural History Museum.
Decide based on how much room you need in your hotel room; otherwise ideal.
We liked the old feel of the dark wood and the floors. Everything worked. Strange view but normal for here, I'm sure. Very close to the subway on 86th. Good places close by for coffee, pizza, bagels. On the way back get off the subway at 72nd to walk past good shops without the busyness of further downtown. Cost more than we expected for a place this far out.
Bed was too small. Sure a regular double would fit.
Given that hotel accommodation anywhere in Manhattan is quite expensive, and rooms tend to be smaller than in other cities, this was a great find. The double room with ensuite was compact but well designed and very clean. The staff are friendly and efficient and the free reliable wifi was a plus. The hotel is in a great location close to the subway and M86 bus route, many cafés and bars, Central Park, and other attractions including the Natural History Museum, Lincoln Centre and Metropolitan Museum of Art.
MUY PEQUEÑAS LAS HABITACIONES.
Great position: near to subway and central park, Room is small but clean.
I had booked a room weeks in advance of my trip. A day or so before, booking.com notified me of an upgrade: king sized bed, lower price, same hotel. I grabbed it! Check-in went smoothly with little discussion of the room. I quickly dumped my gear, used the bathroom and went to toast the town, coming back quite late. Bathed and hit the sheets and then realized that I must be in a smokers room! Too late to change anything, I suffered a sleepless nite in a reeky room and then fled early in the morning. What is the point of using a service like Booking dot com if they sabotage yr plans by offering upsells not within your customer profile? I'm aggravated that I took the bait and wished I wud have hit delete on that upsell message--it really messed up my trip.
See above info.
Rooms very small
Location is amazing.
Personal very bad. I was very nervous..
Great location; very clean; modern heating system.
Very small room and bathroom; not very good lighting.
i couldn't use wifi between 11pm till 12 midnight. they told me to bear with it because they couldn't fix it after the seasonal time change. 11pm was the time i needed wifi the most, and it was troublesome every night.
location ,close to Subway.Helpful,friendly staff
Lack of storage space for clothes. In common with most American hotels no beverage making facilities
Clean, good location, good value
clean, comfortable able to open the window
The room was too small. No chair to sit in.
Double bed was small for two adults.
I know the area! Very easy for all transportation.
hotel location was perfect and the bedroom was always really clean
too expensive for what they offered: staff not really kind, small bedroom, the hotel in general was always really noisy during the night, you can hear everything. Internet wifi did not work properly in the room and you have to stay on the groundfloor at the reception.
