Belvedere Hotel

The location is excellent at only 2 blocks to Times Square and a couple more to Rockefeller Center, yet the hotel is on a quite block where you can sleep peacefully without noise.

Location and staff were great. Comfortable rooms with coffee makers, refrigerator and microwave; did not have to rely on room service for morning coffee.

Smallish rooms for the price.

The hotel is greatly situated a few minutes from Times Square. Yet, it's surprisingly quiet. The rooms are sufficiently spacious, beds are comfortable, the bathroom freshly renovated and clean. To top it all, the room is equipped with a little kitchenette. I found everything I needed and will definitely stay there again on my next visit to New York, price permitting.

The room was very clean and comfortable. The choice of breakfast was excellent and the breakfast staff were very helpful. Room service menu very good, service prompt and prices reasonable.

Hotel staff not overly helpful or friendly when asked advice on directions to various places.

I thought the location was fantastic and the staff was very friendly especially the bellman Peter and the concierge desk staff. The rate was good for a New York city hotel in such a good location.

Room was comfortable. Liked that there was a refrigerator and micro oven in the room.

Great location, good facilities and room

Front desk staff were very bland and not supportive in any way when they misplaced my luggage. I was understandably very upset and subsequently missed my flight but was not given any TLC or support at all from staff. The Manager needs customer service training and so do his front desk staff.

We really enjoyed our 8 night stay at the Belvedere. The location was perfect, just a very short walk from Times Square. We were on the 16th floor with nice views and right beside the lift but we were not bothered by it at all. The staff were very nice and helpful. Would recommend this hotel 100% and cannot wait to return.

The only positive attribute of this hotel was location.

Personnel was rude, charged twice for internet service (one of the charges was hidden, not itemized). Room was supossedly a "deluxe" suite, a/c attached with duct tape to the window frame. Very noisy, housekeeping personnel was speaking out loudly from 8.00 am. Insistent phone calls and messages left from the front desk, despite having requested that this should not happen. In summary, overpriced for what this hotel offers.
