HOTTUB and nothing else, WILL not be BACK!!
great view, and location
wall paper peeling off walls, everyone woke up with sore throats, no phone, slow wifi, no breakfast or coffee
room was small
The new Owner, his sister and the staff were very helpful. The location and view of the lake was great. No bugs to be found. Good hot water system. I did not have to stay with my in-laws.
The 1st room we looked at had a smell of urine everywhere in the room with a bad air freshener trying to cover the smell. The 2nd room had people hair in the tub, sink, refrigerator and bed. Our 3rd choice had noise from the squeaky bed (when you moved in the bed, it sounded like the worst squeaky floor board), it had a very loud fan noise from the room through-wall heater, the refrigerator hummed and banged when it shut-down and when everything else was quiet the clock had a loud ticking noise (We pulled out the batteries). I suggest that the Owner spend at least one night in each hotel room to get a feel for any unknown problems before someone has to complain. The place shows as very old (1950's)and needs a lot of repair.
We had a cute room with great views. Nice walk along the Veterans trail to the lake and a nice dinner location.
The drapes in our room were not black out and there were lights on outside the windows all night.
I love the hot tub..and the scenery. .it's a beautiful place..I've been there 5 times...I love it
The location and view.
The hot tub had to much clorine for me.
Staff was excellent. Very friendly and helpful (young man who had an adorable dog). Stay here if you want a quiet stay with the best view of the lake surrounded by trees. If you are used to fancy hotels don't stay here – but if you want a town-like atmosphere I definitely recommend it! I stayed in #7 which was a bit small but I did not mind, because I had my own patio, chairs and table with the most beautiful view!
I wasn't sure how to turn on the heat, but that's my only con.
Location. Views. Outdoor Patio.
Bathtub/shower needs replacing. Shower curtain was mildewed. Housekeeping not attentive - one day did not have any and the next day only received cleaned towels.
I love the room.the area and especially the hot tub
Friendly staff, adequate accommodations & terrific view.
too many porch lights spoil the view at night. No windows to open
View of the lake at best.
Pubic hairs on a bed that looked like someone had just laid in.. Old worn out sheets and comforter... Walls showing signs of water leaks causing wall paper to peel... Extension cords to run electricity through out the building.... Suites usually have a couch or two and or recliner, nothing but a lawn chair... no microwave... very run down place for the price, ridiculous!!! I'm not exaggerating here, worst motel I've ever booked into!!
I liked the lake views.
It was as expected!
The view is wonderful and the place takes advantage of it by having several area's where you can sit and enjoy the view. The place was very clean and the beds firm. They allow pets, even tho' we don't have one now. They have several theme'd rooms.
It's a bit dated in the color scheme. The owner's are a young couple trying to make a go of it. The previous owner's ran it into the ground.
The view was fantastic. Great staff member. Verandah in the sun overlooking the lake view south. Quiet.
Water cistyn noise all night filling up at 2 min intervals. Room was small.
The view across Bennet Bay and Lake Coeur d'Alene is oustanding. The location is convenient to the city and the freeway.
I didn't mind the tiny room, but the interior decor was obscene - hot pink sheets, baby blue/turquoise blanket, cheap butterfly decals in the bathroom - some one is wasting funds that would be better used upgrading the mattresses. In reviewing my receipt, Booking.com said the charge would be $140 for 2 rooms for 1 night, but I was charged $153.80. Apparently I was also charged for a pet in each room - we were not traveling with pets, and I didn't adopt any at the motel. Shabby way to run a business with so much potential.
The owners are great. They are working hard to update this Inn. It was nice to be out of the main area of Coeur D'Alene. Relaxing on the deck and watching the sunset over the lake was wonderful. Make sure you eat at Tony's.
Very friendly and beautiful atmosphere loved it
Musty room and shower had spongy foot pad that was icky
Very pleasant owners and staff Beautiful scenery Comfortable & Creative Theme room Very clean Very quiet Great swimming pool Having a microwave/refrigerator was a plus, and the spa tub was excellent!
Everything was just as I wanted it to be.
Loved the view
The back lights staying on all night made the room too light, but other than that it was great
Can't think of anything.
Awful bed, traffic noise, very slippery tub (I slipped when I was getting causing several bruises). A bit of a ride from downtown. Very ugly cheap dated "decor".
I loved the views from patio area, the fire pit was a bonus, let us sit out longer in evening as it's getting cooler now. I could cater for us if I'd wanted to, but we ate out. Window A/C was quiet enough not to prevent sleep.
Bathroom need a facelift, but I guess the extractor fan did it's best, but moist air had made wall paper start to peel, but didn't bother me too much.
The view was great.
The room was called a queen room but the shabby bed was only a double. The room was the size of a large walk in closet. their was no place to put a suit case down and open it. My wife and I travel a lot and this was the 2nd. worst room we have ever had.
At first you will be taken back by the decor and how the motel looks. But it grows on you. A bit charming. The sun sets right in front of you over the lake while you lay in bed. Our room was clean and the staff were pleasant.
