This is a beautiful hotel in one of the most beautiful places in New York. Beautiful and comfy beds
Despite the beauty of this hotel the management at the front desk were very unhelpful. I complained about the bad drainage system in the bathroom to the one who checked me out but he didn't even bother to at least apologize and offer me any suggestions. My check in was so delayed as a result of bookingin.Com as it was explained to me. Room so cold irrespective of adding an additional space heater. But overall a beautiful hotel
Very good staff, great location, rooms are large for a NYC hotel.
WiFi had a fee but didn't work. Staff provided a password, but still didn't work. Furnishings a bit shabby in places, but room was comfortable. Most everything has an additional charge (in room coffee, water, etc.).
Good sized room, nice view of the East River, very friendly staff, great location.
Fitness Center didn't seem to be very well ventilated
We had to go into NYC because my husband was having surgery the next day. The room was very clean and the beds were comfortable, the staff was helpful with suggestions on where to park, and where to go for something eat. Would recommend the hotel, and would stay there again.
Very good room. Great view from Resturant at top
Very far from Times Square action
Location near an highway, The funiture chipped and old looking The bed uncomfortable, the type that caves in the middle
No wifi available No brecfast included. The high prices in winter
Room was clean, proximity to hospital. Doormen were lovely.
The front desk staff, other than one gentleman was awful. Was given rude and false counsel from two different women when trying to extend my reservation, while I'd stated that I was in a rush because my father was critically ill in a local hospital. The wifi, for which you pay $12.99 per day can be used only on a single device and the reception is poor, making doing any work (even simply sending and receiving emails reliably) very difficult. Bottles of water in the room are $8.00 each. Keurig instant coffee in room is $2.50 per k-cup. Hotel is way overrated and cheap.
