The price and the beds were fair.
The bathroom vanity and dressing rm vanity were unpainted rough plywood and caught clothing. Underneath both vanitys were hidden unused needles I assume for drugs. Thus I would not stay here again. Lighting, window coverings in bathroom poor and tub was dirty.
They sold my room and when I started asking questions about why they would do that without calling me. I got a bunch of attitude. Thanks for leaving me with no place to stay. I would take them off of your website. seriously 0/10 stars. They also sold my friends room and gave them attitude as well.
They rented our room out because we were arriving late. I was shocked. They had our VISA number to hold the room! The next night, they did the same thing to our friend.
That they worked with me
That booking.com booked me a room and they really didn't have any so we had to sleep in an apartment.booking needs to know for sure what the motel has
Room was clean Had microwave and minifridge
No one at the desk when checking out Booked a room with 3 beds -- only 2 beds in the room only received one key
Ladies checking in very friendly and helpful. The price of the rooms for two nights. ALL ONE FLOOR---NO STEPS LOVED THIS. THIS COULD BE A CHARMING AND LUCRATIVE BUSINESS; ESPECIALLY FOR SENIORS WHO WANT SINGLE LEVEL ROOMS. CHARMING BUILDING; JUST NEEDS CLEANED AND UPDATED AND THE RIFF RAFT TAKEN OUT.
CLEANLINESS,bathrooms are very sad, bed spreads burn holes in them, ceilings looked like I don't know what was flipped on them. Carpet needed up dated and cleaned, and dust behind furniture was overwhelming. Brkfst was O.K., at 8:30am coffee was out and the burned out drugee behind the desk did not even offer to make more coffee. Gratuity envelope left out, but we had to ask for fresh towels, did not empty trash cans for two days, and had to ask for coffee for in room coffee maker. Everything had to be asked for in our two and one half days there.
Poor bedding, lack of towels and wash cloths, cleanliness
Holiday Motel is a small, single story motel operated by the new owners. Our room had two double beds, a microwave and refrigerator. The motel is very convenient to the interstate, but not directly visible from it, so there was no highway noise. It was quiet and comfortable. If you want style and expensive amenities (gym, in-room Wi-Fi), go to an expensive lodging. If you need simple, clean and comfortable at a bargain price, consider this facility.
Friendly staff and good price.
No hot water. Bed sheets and comforter had cigarette burns.
I was in town for a festival, and needed a place to sleep and coffee in the morning at a reasonable price. The Holiday Motel fit my needs perfectly.
I only needed a place to stop on my way through town, so I would recommend it for solo travelers that are only needing sleep. It's right off the freeway and close to many restaurants.
It's in the process of being remodeled, so hopefully everything will get a facelift. it's pretty old and run down.
The bad smell in the room. The fact that the toilet ran constantly. The shower faucet was difficult to use. An electrical outlet by the head of one of the beds was loose and caused the light to blink off intermittently.
When my room was not ready for me and I needed to get to a meeting, they were very kind in giving me a different room which was ready for new occupation. I had a dog with me and felt very welcomed having a four legged friend. Having a refrigerator in the room while I was traveling was very helpful. All personnel were kind and willing to help out as much as they could. The location is near the interstate and also close to town with everything and anything available.
It is an older motel and some things need an update. For example, the handle on my front door was loose. One of my curtains did not have a rod for opening and closing. The bedspreads and numerous holes in them, etc. Check-in time was advertised at 10:00 but the person who does the check ins was not there and the office was locked.
The staff was exceptionally helpful when I needed advice as to what places to visit and gave great directions. Very nice people.
The manager was trying.
Light bulbs Had t-o be replaced, no hot water in sink, right as we were in bed we were asked to move to another room. Error by who ever checked us in. Manager brought his sick, hacking daughter to our room, who helped us move our things to another room. I actually felt sorry for them both'but was annoyed at the same time. We did receive a free night for the inconvenience. And another free night but we will not be returning. Also room did not seem that clean. A/C filter was filthy and did not dare turn it on.
I liked that it was close to down town
The fact that there was no wifi in the rooms we had trouble getting the door open had to have the door unlocked so we could get back into the room the bathtub would work so I could take a bath the water was always changing temperatures
Nothing. The place was disgusting. Checked in and checked right out. Older motel in a nice location. Pet friendly is the only reason we booked here. Would not let my dog stay in a place this nasty! I recommend the Comfort Inn in Berea. Pet friendly, CLEAN, nice staff!!!
We checked into a room that had not been cleaned. Shave hair in sink, toothpaste on counter, bathroom not clean. Pulled the bedspread back stains on sheets, filthy under beds. Went back to office was given a key to another room. Checked it also filthy. So much dust on the front tv that some one has drawn a sad face on it
Close to location my husband needed to be.
Old and not very clean
No good reception on the T V had to asked for towels
clean but very old and run down
Room had a strong musty odor. Sink Stopper broken. Broken dresser, old duck tape on heat unit, room needed paint. Thin old towels and sheets. Bathroom light bulb missing. Cleaning staff missed our room. This is an old motel that is clearly in need of substantial maintenance. We won't stay there again.
room smelt like smoke even tho it was a non-smoking room. not enough towels and wash clothes.
The location was quite handy to I-75, restaurants, and shopping.
The hotel needs a lot of work to get rid of the smoke and mildew. The room had not been well cleaned. I would not recommend the facility.
The bed was comfortable
My room was not ready an hour after check-in, the bathtub needs to be replaced because it is missing pieces, the tile on the wall needs fixing and the bedroom needs repainting, barely enough towels. The front office person was not very helpful.
