Trevlig och hjälpsam personal. Läget utmärkt. Badrummet välutrustat.

Vi hade otur med vädret - kallt och regnigt med kallt på rummet. Måste be receptionen starta värmesystemet. Det borde ske automatiskt så rummet är varmt när man checkar in och om inte borde personalen känna av temeraturen. Dom frös säkert också.

Was in a great location and had an old world feel to it. You can tell it has been around for a while, but the people are great, the price is right, and the location is awesome. We were greeted at the door and luggage was brought to the room. Ok continental breakfast in the morning, but its free. I would and will stay again

Hotel rooms which most of the rooms looking black wall. Poor breakfast. Unhelpfull employes.

They had shuttle for airport. One day I decided to sleep until 14:00, they left a bag full of towels and stuff in the door.

I staid in room 208 it was horrible. Extremely cold, there was NO window on the restroom. The building in front of the room has enormous AC machine making big noise. The TV was super old with few channels (no cable) Few power plugs.

Great location. Great price. Great deal.

Breakfast in the run-down "White Horse Pub" is a bit "triste". But the same hotel/location standard with better breakfast cost $ 100 more. So what?

The original features of the building were pleasant and it was very clean. The location is excellent, less than 5 mins walk from Union Square and a wealth of restaurants.

Apart from one female receptionist and one male porter the staff were without exception surly, abrupt, curt and rude, with an east asian approach to customer service, that is to say it was non-existent. Be very careful if booking a twin room to ensure that you don't end up with 2 very small single beds, which is far from the norm in USA. The rooms at the rear of the hotel are bordered by a passageway which houses an overpoweringly loud and disturbing extractor fan outlet. There is no air conditioning in the rooms, nor is there wi-fi access other than in a small lounge, which on my trip was selfishly hogged by people using 2 or 3 devices, slowing connection speeds down to a painful trickle.

Location was fantastic. Very close to the cable car and only a couple blocks to variety of muni buses and the Bart. Our room was modest, but had a comfortable bed, private bath, and functioning tv. The room was a bit stuffy due to lack of ac, but we kept the Windows open before bed so it was comfortable when we went to sleep. We had a room with a window on Sutter street so it was a bit noisy, but the Windows were thick enough the block any noise as long as they are closed. Fresh cold continental breakfast seemed to be from a local bakery with croissants , pastries, fruit and cereal. We would recommend this hotel to friends.
