Hotel Beresford  

Location is a bonus. Near the Union Squire, convenient for transportation. The room is kind of small but compact. But the services worth the price, considering the convenient location.

The most unsatisfied thing is the lack of wifi in the room, which brings lots of inconvenience for customers. Breakfast is always the same, few choices. Most clerks are friendly. However, it seems some one is only ready to help people he can benefit from. There is not any airport shuttle service provided, but it's said the opposite in the booking.com.

Location is excellent!

Wifi is only available in lobby. Breakfast is like in many other American hotels not really good. (No cheese, meat or eggs)

The location is good and the front desk staff was very helpful. The rooms are also very cute. The breakfast was also nice, with a good selection and great little dining areas.

The bathroom floor is extremely slippery and a bit hazardous. The shower pressure (on the 6th floor where we stayed) was really low and made for an awkward shower. The lobby can become crowded with other tourists waiting for cabs or their cars, and it would be nice for the hotel to put up a sign or something to indicate that people should be curteous about letting others through or making space for others to wait. We came across some tourists who rudely scattered all of their bags across the lobby.

Extremely helpful, cordial, and courteous staff. Great location. Clean rooms, comfortable bed. Very fair price for overnight valet parking. Also appreciated the complementary computer facility. Excellent overall value. I will recommend this hotel to others.

Would have liked Wifi since I had my own computer, but not a big issue.

Clean room in a great location at very reasonable cost. Free breakfast was adequate. Helpful courteous staff. We booked room with 2 twin beds but they gave us one with 2 full beds at same price.

Room was quite small but I did not mind that. Ventilation noise from adjoining building quite loud in bathroom but no problem with bathroom door kept shut. No on-room Wi-fi; lobby only.

Great hotel with character - not the usual bedroom factory you get in the US. Really welcoming and attentive staff. Very nice atmospheric oak panelled bar. Superb location.

There is no internet in the rooms so everyone have to sit downstairs. Quite sociable, but awkward for business use. Otherwise this is an excellent hotel.

Price, location and moderately priced valet parking. Prices of items in the mini-bar were unusually low, $10 for a bottle of wine, $2 for a beer. The included continential breakfast was most acceptable. We arrived very early, 10am and were allowed to check in then. The clerks were friendly and helpful in responding to requests for help with the local bus system. The car was returned within the time frame suggested.

Because of the louvered window in the bathroom, the bathroom was icy cold, there was however, lots of hot water. The bath tup stopper did not work, but a provided simple plastic stopper worked fine. There were only two sdmall pillows on the bed, request for more were quickly complied with.

Location and Value for money

Breakfast - and the Bathroom was too old, with low power shower.

The location and price can't be beat. A very nice historic downstairs as well.

Quite hot and noisy fans right outside our window that looked directly into another apartment place.

We stayed here 10 years ago for our son"s wedding. It was great then and was great this time. We were here for my 40th college reunion, and it was just perfect. We will come again.

Really nothing - you can't predict the warm weather in the City, but we had fans, so all was well.

Small, but clean and comfortable room. Friendly staff. Great location, close to everything in heart of San Francisco.

Convenience and was the cheapest in the area that was not sold out.
