Central, Clean and not to pricy, Helpful Staff

Great location. Nice and cozy hotel. On the contrary to the most hotels in USA it includes breakfast, which is not awesome, but still a nice start for a day.

It is very expensive for the facilities it offers.

We loved the historic feel of the hotel very clean and great value

I loved the fact that the hotel was so close to everything and that it was very affordable.

The breakfast could be better.

Location is excellent.

The beds were very small, even for a short person. The breakfast was not good quality, it was beyond being simple. There was no WIFI in the rooms.

Location........ very central for restaurants and shopping. The staff were very nice. We loved the buzz of San Francisco. The Hotel was nice with a pub attached. WI FI was only available on the ground floor tho.

Parking fees were very high but it was expected. After a mini tour of the US we found the room was small with a view of the fire escape which was disappointing compared to other places we have stayed. Having said that we did enjoy our stay.

The location was really good; breakfast was simple but fresh and tasty; bed was comfortable.

Bathroom was a little small and the windows were not sound proof.

Comfortable hotel in a good location. Staff were helpful and pleasant. Breakfast was adequate with cereal, milk and fruit, coffee. Hotel is very good value.

The old fashioned comfort of the building and rooms. The downstairs lounge. The access to free computers. The location to the city centre, restaurants and cable cars.

Always enjoy the friendly staff and the great location to down town.

The location is excellent

The facilities are far below the basic. Rooms do not include the basic such as hotwater and desk space.

Charming hotel with a wonderful downtown location close to Union Square.

WiFi only available in the lobby area.

Staff were very helpful and friendly.

The room had no a/c very little light and was very noisy when the window was opened facing on the alley which had a number of air conditioner units running from adjacent buildings.

Location is fabulous. Staff are very helpful. Excellent valet service. Good sized shower with strong water pressure.

Bathroom tiny tiny but that is to be expected with an older hotel. No vanity or tub.
