We had no complaints. It was a weekday, so there wasn't a wedding or a conference, which they specialize in.
Obviously, from pictures you can judge the gorgeous facade of the main house, and once inside, be impressed by the period furniture. Our room was in the annex, and extremely comfortable. The main dining room, in the mansion, wasn't serving that night, so we ate in the tavern. Again, quite authentic. We wandered the grounds, and it seemed that we were back in Civil War times, and at any moment, a column of troops would emerge from the distant tree lines. Well worth the slightly out-of-the-way location. Especially at a very reasonable price.
