They would not honor bed and room type and gave us a smaller bed still charging us the same rate. Heater blows cold air no matter what the temperature is set at. So no heat. Room smells of mold. Pillows on bed child size. At check out staff unavailable at front desk.
The location is good by the riverside while Boston is about 6 miles away. It is a center of a grate attractive places. It is also near train station giving you an access to grate and convenient transportation.
Heating system doesn't met cimate change. So, we asked for extra plankets.
Bed was excellent, the temperature of the room was excellent and it was very quiet. Also liked walking out the door and onto the Quincy River Walk. Beginning of walk not OK but not great, but second 1/2 of walk was gorgeous, ending at Marina Bay.
Previous reviews were correct, need a bigger sign for finding it at night, that being said, it was only an extra 2 minutes to make the U-turn. Breakfast staff was very nice, but the room was under construction (modernization). I'm sure once it is done it will be very nice.
Staff was wonderful. A friendly greeting and a nice meal in the pub. The lobster roll was excellent.
The building was a tad rundown. Coffee machine in the hall didn't work.
The age of the facility does not make it so attractive. They charge for coffee where other Best Western's offer it free in the lobby.

Breakfast choices and food in the restaurant for dinner. Very friendly staff.
One of the main things that lead us to book this hotel was that it had free shuttle service from the airport to the hotel and from the hotel to the port (we were going on a cruise). We arrived at 11:30 pm and were finally picked up at 1:00 am. we made multiple calls to the hotel and were told that the driver had been to the airport three times to get us. Not hardly. At some points we were the only people waiting so there is no way we would have missed the van. Then in the morning we went down to use the shuttle to take us to the pier and were told that it was booked until 2:00 pm and that we were not allowed to stay in our room while we waited. We ended up paying for a taxi to the pier instead.
Accommodations and food were very good.
We like our bed room to be very cold. The thermostat only allowed the temp to be adjusted to 68 and the windows did not open. Therefore it was very stuffy in the room to sleep.
The hotel was clean and conveniently located for my purposes. The staff was courteous and friendly.
The beds were very uncomfortable. Felt like I was sleeping on plywood. The walls were very thin and could hear everything going on in the next room and hallways very clearly.

front desk kept saying 15 minutes away and I waited an hour at the airport plus going to cruise terminal the next day I had reservations but there were others who were scheduled earlier that were still waiting.

Far from boston and no stores close by. Rooms very small, bath cramped Old hotel and kind of strong odor in carpet annoying.
Shuttle back and forth to airport was very helpful.

Young front desk agent was very helpful, personal and friendly. Good location - walking distance to the train station and a quick ride to downtown Boston. Hotel was hard to find at first as the signs to the hotel do not stick out - had to re-route a few times.
Only stayed at this location for the price as it was the cheapest without having to be downtown Boston and paying for that price. Room was old and felt not clean. Bed was very hard and pretty small to fit two adult people (full size bed.) Chips and paint missing in the walls. Bathroom was small and toilet was hard to flush. Carpet was old and felt not clean. Breakfast was disappointing and although included, the menu was already picked out which included a very small selection of things and no refills on drinks. The restaurant is small and there was a wait to get seated for breakfast. It was a dine-in feel with hosts and servers, which was odd for a free breakfast. Ended up only having breakfast one of the three days as it was nothing too spectacular.
Beds were very comfortable, room and hotel public areas were clean and updated. A very good choice for a stay in my hometown.

I had to wait at the registratioin desk for someone to showup to register. The shuttle driver finally got someone to come to the desk. There was no one else registering at this time
Hotel delivered what it advertised, free parking, good helpful staff, clean rooms good atmosphere in bar area where a limited breakfast is also served every morning.
10min walk to / from tube station in the rain wasn't fun (we could have taken the hotel shuttle in to the city but road traffic looked very busy)
