Best Western Airport Inn & Suites Oakland    

We booked this for the location close to Oakland airport. Also a factor was the free shuttle which we used twice, and was really fast, efficient and friendly. The self serve breakfast was welcome too, available from 6am.

It is near the airport which is why we stay there.

They did NOT have a reservation for us when we arrived. If I hadn't had my paperwork we would not have gotten the rate. I do not fault the hotel for this. The comforter had a very slippery backing and would not stay on the bed.

Pretty good hotel , with a pretty good staff . The room (king suite) is pretty good also. The hotel is very calm and cheap , and the shuttle lead you everywhere , anytime , in a range of 10 kilometers . Bart and the Oackland airport are very close . And it take less then a hour to reach SFO international airport for a very cheap price . Center of San Francisco is half a hour by car or by Bart for a ridiculous price . It's a very good idea to stay here ,cause it's a calm and pretty good hotel for a low budget , instead a expensive and noisy hotel an a San Francisco bay west area .

Easy to get to, just off the freeway

The hallway carpet was faded in places, the shower could have been cleaner (caulking, corners, floor), Rough, industrial neighborhood

The lady at the desk when we arrived for our evening check in was a real peach. We felt that she really felt her job was to make our stay enjoyable. She is a gem.

You changed to "non-smoking" without notifying me when I had booked my reservation through a smoker friendly website.

Convenient to airport for connecting flight the next day and the shuttle was great.

That there was a smoker somewhere near my room. I could smell the smoke through the door

Hotel was new and modern. We loved the indoor pool.

Not in a very good area of town and not really easy to find.

It was quiet. The shuttle driver on the morning of March 22nd was very friendly. The bed was very comfortable

The bed pillows were too fat. It was hard to get comfortable. There were a variety of hairs left on the bathroom floor. The jets in the bathtub either didn't work at all or were anemic.

We were just overnight between flights. Location was just minutes from the airport, shuttle was timely. Staff was extremely helpful, free wi fi in the room and free Internet in the lounge allowing us to print boarding passes free as well.

No food nearby.

Poor air conditioner in first assigned room....needed to change rooms, but they were accommodating.

The room was clean. The breakfast options were decent. Free shuttle to local areas and airport.

Location was a block off the main drag, making getting there via bus a little bit of a walk. Also, "late" checkout was noon, it would have been better at 1pm. And check-in is at 3pm, it would have been nice to have been earlier.

The room was very clean! The desk staff was very pleasant. The breakfast was very tasty. Altogether a most pleasant experience.

The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and helpful.

No lounge or eatery in the hotel was the only down point. Other than that, I had a great stay.

The staff especially Paul the driver and all around fix it guy were wonderful and very helpful, I hope you realize what great employees you have.

I was given a room that the temperature control did not work and the maintenance man was in the lobby in the A.M. and he over heard me complaining to the front desk about it and admitted that they had ongoing problems with that room. Without the temp not turned on, the room was too hot and with it turned on, it had only one temp and that was 53 degrees!!!! I complained to the front desk the first hour that I was in the room and they said that there were no more rooms available. I think that this was unbelievably wrong to do this to someone, charge them for a room and knowing full well that they would suffer staying in it, and not having another room available to rectify the situation and on top of it all, charging the customer!!!
