Just 5 mins to Mexico borders, excellent location as we had a flight to catch in Tijuana. We could stay in the states, and only had to pass a couple of hours in Tijuana the next day.

I was pissed off by the fact there was not a computer with a properly working printer, so we could not prepare our boarding passes. The staff was not really trying to help us. They wanted to seem they try to help, but nothing happened. They let us struggle with their pathetic PC and printer.

I've stayed here many times, in fact each time I drive up from Mexico (where I live) I stay at this motel. I've never been disappointed. The rooms are large and very comfortable and very well appointed and have everything I need. It's quiet and yet close to the freeway and many places to eat. I would recommend it to anyone!

Very nice staff, breakfast is good, the room was very big and clean, everything was good.

not so close to San Diego city center - closer to the usa-mexico border... If you want to travel in san diego maybe you should take closer hotel.

Great place for visiting a Tijuana and Las Anericas outlet...

They charged me more dollars,I must told them,they just tried something,I dont know why...

Best Western Americana Inn provided breakfast exceeded my expectations. There were guava juice, boil eggs. yogarts, oat meals that you usually won't see in other Inn's breakfasts. The breakfast area was big enough and had many tables, so no one had to wait for tables.

The TV was not flat screen. The pool won't open until 9:30 am. If it opened at 8 am, I and my family would be able to swim before leaving the Inn.

The breakfast area was too cramped and we had to wait for 30 min just to pick up something to eat. The location is not too convenient for visiting San Diego attractions and is too expensive for the price we paid.

Cigarette/tobacco smell impregnated all over the room. Really annoying, disgusting smell.

The location was far outside and we had the opportunity to know another side of California.

The telephone was not working nor was the internet ,and when I walked to the front office they gave me a remote that did not work ! , there was no shampoo and when I asked the housekeeping staff they said that the management had not ordered any and she only had one on her cart "which she gave me ! , when I checked out I was told that the dispense in the shower was for hair as well but had a note saying it was body wash, which my wife showered when we arrived and gave her frizzy dry hair, so the front desk should not be telling guests wrong information, my stay was not a location I will return to again and advise everyone not to waste time going to that location.

It was quite, comfortable, and it offered a good breakfast. We were quite surprised at how good it was!

- The WI-FI was really unusable in the room (my room was the last one far away from the reception). I asked twice a feedback but the only answer was that probably too many people were using it (notice that i tried to connect me in the night too). To use internet I had to go in the reception, there was working perfectly. - Breakfast room too crowdy.

The be was comfy, the people were very nice. It was inexpensive. Free breakfast.

I thought it was clean until I found a chicken bone under the chair when we were packing up to leave. We did not eat any chicken in the room. It is a little noisy, you can hear people outside. There was a door to the room next door in our room, and you could hear the people there. With the reviews I had read before going, I had expected better. In regards to weather I would recommend to someone...if they wanted cheap, yes, if they want comfort and quiet, no. People were not really super noisy, but you could hear them.

We loved the pool and the breakfast. Very Yummy Coffee.

The internet was pretty didn't work. I called the number and didn't get the response back I was promised. I tried on serveral devices and non of them worked.

Breakfast was good and the room was very clean and confortable.

The free wifi service doesn't works all the time and the hotel is far away from downtown.

The check-in/check-out was impressive. Record time!

We had two rooms with a connecting door for a group of 5. the beds were very comfortable, there were good facilities and we made good use of the pool and hot-tub. The location was good if you wanted to be close to the Mexican border or for a shopping spree in Las Americas Outlet. Despite what we feared, it was very close to the highway and still relatively quiet!
