There was a stabbing in the hotel lobby. A homeless person asked to use the bathroom and a couple of tourist got into an argument. The tourist was stabbed by the homeless person.

The hotel was very modern, and very comfortable, if we had more time I would have definitely used more of the facilities offered in the hotel. The sights were so beautiful in san fran, will definitely be coming back here again.

the only thing I got annoyed with was one particular member of staff could not give us any good restaurants to go to. we were only there for one night and we wanted advice what was good and the staff member was very unhelpful which meant we had to walk for about an hour before finding anything good.

Well.. What the day we arrived a couple of weeks were stabbed at the hotel lobby by a gang... We found out via TV next day... The hotel admin didnt communicate amd advise us. Thr location is absolutely not nice and based on thr happenings, not recommendedmat all. Also, overall the hotel was dirty

Big rooms, remodeled recently, nice design, nice staff (for most), price.

Dirrrrrty carpets, very noizy, walls are thin as paper, hobos everywhere, a bit far from SF life & attractions, neighborhood is scary. Little convenience if you have to walk.

- Friendly and helpful staff, no problem during check in and check out, no extra charge, informative and polite - Heated swimming pool, no lies here, I could swim comfortably even with a chilly breeze outside - Design of the room and bed, quite nice and pleasant - Hotel located 10 minutes from Union Square on foot, 5 minutes from the F Line (tram) - Overall, even with the negative comments in mind (WiFi aside, I trust that will be fixed), it's a decent hotel and pretty good value for money

- Sound isolation isn't the best, although personally it didn't prevent me from sleeping - WiFi is free but was nonexistent when I stayed at the hotel. You guys need to fix this, unacceptable for business. I couldn't even send text messages with no attachment! - My booking didn't include breakfast, and the restaurant located inside the hotel charges over $13 (drinks included) for this

Accessibility to the city and helpfulness of staff.

That the elevators didn't work half the time. That is was so noisy people outside our room late at night talking smoking cigarettes and dope.....screaming late coming from the pool.....We had called the night before to get a wake up call as our plane was leaving at 700am no one called...there was no information in the room telling us what the hotel offered in facilities.

The pool was awesome - it was raining the day we wanted to swim, and the GM/Owner came up and opened the gate and rolled back the cover despite the weather and we used it for an hour.

There were some baby pigeons out of our window that were chirping, it wasn't bad enough that we told anyone - but I could see it being annoying to others.

the surprise charges, lack of guest service, very poor service, coffe pot didn't work, requested another bottle of water and hotel wanted to charge me for it, very poor taste, will not stay here again!

I liked that it was quiet in the room. The location was great for the show at the civic center.

The room that I reserved was not the room that was given to me.

Well- I'm not happy!!! First I was lied to, two queen beds? Haha! Couch! Than the staff didn't even know if rooms had two queen "real" beds, ...... The next morning while leaving I left behind in the shower 2 rings , called the next day (1-1-13) of course the person answering the phone knew nothing and I was told that! " I know nothing" he said, I will have mgr of housekeep- call you.... Still waiting! For a phone call back and have called back twice .... I want and deserve a response

The price increased in this year comparing the one in the last year.

The room was very clean and well-equipped although a little noisy as it was close to 7th Street. The hotel, itself, has very good facilities, including a fitness room, and was generally good value.

The hotel is located in an area of San Francisco where there are numerous homeless people on the streets. Although it is generally safe, it can feel intimidating and less secure, particularly at night.

The hotel is nice and design. The rooms are fun and well decorated. Staff is very nice. Very close to Union Square.

We had a problem with the flush twice! The double beds are small. At night the area around the hotel doesn't seem to be very safe.

The carpet looked dirty, need to clean it more often.. The housekeeping was kinda too stingy when it comes to toiletries..

I really liked the size and design of my hotel room. It was only 2 blocks from the nearest BART so that was convenient as well.

Couldn't find the complimentary continental breakfast but that was probably my fault.

Staff were all very polite and accommodating during our stay.

The air conditioning did not work which made the room feel very stuffy. The fans just circulate the stuffy air. We did not get wash cloths every day, which seemed weird. We always had to ask for these. Then on the last day we didn't get any hand towels, just used the regular bath towels.

Terrible customer service. Did not go above and beyond at all. Will not stay there again solely because of the customer service

No A/C. It was a hot night. Room faced into a courtyard filled with other rooms so I could not even leave the windows open as the drapes had to be shut for privacy The bath was clean but very basic. I think the room was overpriced but the huge Oracle worldwide conference was in town and rooms were in major short supply.

Excellent Location right next to Folsom Festival Street Fair, location and price was excellent. Also Hotel is Gay Friendly !

The maid refused to clean the room 2 days in a row because I had a service dog. Complaints to management only got towels and new sheets delivered to the room but no room cleaning x 2 days. Pretty disgusting when your sharing a Family Bedroom with 4 adults and a service dog. They are disabled friendly but they also tried charging me for the dog on the bill, but it was corrected prior to leaving.
