Reception and valet staff very friendly and helpful.

Room service needs some additional guidance. The coffee machine electric cable does not reach the plug point where it is located so I used a plug point in the main bedroom - cleaning staff did not clean and remove the coffee sachet as it was still there the next morning. On the second morning the comforter on my bed had simply been pulled up and the bed not properly made (including leaving a pillow under the comforter at the foot of the bed). An area possibly for some further training.

The pool! It was actually heated, however there were dead flies floating throughout the pool. Staff needs to skim the top of water more often.

No air conditioning! We paid $400.00 a night in a room with no air flow. The pictures on the web were not what we encountered. The grounds and landscape were not clean or in proper working order.

The room was very clean and I loved the retro look. Also, the lounge was a very nice place to have drinks and have bite to eat. Great hamburgers!!

You could hear every noise from the common courtyard. The room had an odd, almost chlorine smell to it.

Not well sign posted, outside room doors in courtyard, cold feeling, heating not working and very loud, walls very thin could hear the neighbour hairdrying hair, too pricey for what it actually is. Seemed in a rough area not really safe to walk to from hotel to union square or anywhere. Would not stsy at this hotel again.

Location was great. Really like the interior decoration and the pool. Having the little restaurant downstairs was perfect. Loved their food. Staff was very helpful.

Our room was at a little courtyard which was pretty noisy. We booked a family room which had an extra space with a sofa couch. The couch mechanism however was so damaged that it wasn't usable. It wasn't the end of the world because we could put our kids in one of the queen beds together. Just felt like someone should've caught and fixed it before we checked in.

    Funky and clean

The location, dodgy area for someone traveling alone and too far from everything. Not walking distance.

Rather seedy neighbourhood, but the hotel itself was nicely renovated and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

Decor, staff, how clean and safe it felt...

The normal cable channels sucked! Unless you want to pay there are only a small handful of channels to watch...doesn't make sense.

I liked the posh and light design of the surprisingly big suite.

I wish the bathroom was 1 foot wider. It would have given me legroom for a #2.

I liked that it was on a good walking distance to local shopping and night life.

Area was pretty grungy, hotel had no A/C so rooms got pretty stuffy and there was only a sma window. Comfort was decent but it was not worth the $500 for 2 nights. I give it a 3 out of 5.

Hidden gem in SF!! The family suite and facilities were adorable and reminded me of boutique hotels in Miami SoBe. The staff were especially friendly and helpful with information. I would definitely stay here again.
