I just felt I was a bit too far from Manhattan, though when I booked the ticket I thought it was closer.
The staff were wonderful in their interaction and always helpful.

The neigbourhood is not inviting
Staff was nice, room was clean and comfort

A above ground train station is just opposite the hotel. If you are a light sleeper this can be a problem. For us it was not a problem.
The staff is very friendly. Especially the woman who serves the breakfast. Rooms are small but everything is in. The subway station for the A train is close. Manhattan is only 15 minutes away. Downtown Brooklyn only 2 stops on the metro.

STAFF SHOULD TELL MEMBERS WERE NOT TO PARK... NOT TO PARK ON ATLANTIC AVERNUE..
April 21, 2015
Atlantic Ave is a very unattractive street but it is a short ride to our daughter's home.

Bed was incredibly comfortable

The neighborhood appears to be gentrifying but is still a bit run down. I feel safe but female travelers might not.
The staff could not have been nicer. Truly every one went out of their way to make me feel comfortable.

Nothing bad to say at all..
Everything:.. And the breakfast selection was awesome.. The microwave in the room

The weight room was a tad too small for my liking.
The room had lots of plugs to recharge devices and even a microwave oven! Everyone was nice and the location was good too.

Had trouble getting wi fi.
April 3, 2015
There wasn't a train that ran direct from the hotel to my daughter's apt. 1.32 miles away. We had to take 2 trains and about 30 minutes to get there. Also our neighbor's at the hotel were very noisy with "inappropriate" activity for a family with children to hear.
The breakfast was great and well-stocked! A variety of choices for all kinds of taste buds :) Very clean. Friendly, cheerful staff.

Nearly everything. Comfort that does not impose formality on the guests.

Letti, the lady that worked in the breakfast room extremely helpful. She was right there before you had to ask. Victoria, the front desk clerk, lovely lovely lovely. The nicest person to have at that job. Deli, the security guard equally great as Victoria. The value for this place was wonderful. I was skeptical of this location, but the neighborhood was great and the laundromat down the street was incredible. Next time I'm in Brooklyn, this is where I will stay.

The whole entire floor I was on smelled like marajuna, plus while I was in the room with my two year old someone came trying to open the door 10 o'clock at night. When I called the front desk to alert them on what happen the girl rudely told me "I did not see any one at your door" worst hotel stay ever I have never felt more unsafe.
I like that the room came with a refrigerator and a microwave and the TV selection was great.

There rules of they don't except cash etc
February 23, 2015
The billing system of this hotel is a mess. We were charged on our credit card, then credited again, then debited again etc. The worst was a total random charge of 900 dollars to a debit card that we had asked not to use. It took a lot of effort to get this undone. The hotel manager just blamed "the system" and referred us to the bank. Very bad. A mistake can happen, but this went wrong multiple times. Don't trust their systems!
The hotel is OK and the location is not too bad, next to the subway station that connects you easily to Manhattan

Only thing is the DONT accept cash, and luckily I had a card to use.
Location & hotel was perfect.

In early January having to change room because of complete lack of heat at midnight after many days of complaints was the last straw. Although some allowance was made towards bill, it was not enough to compensate for the inconvenience
friendliness of staff
January 27, 2015
I placed a do not disturb sign on my door and they cleaned the room and did not replace the foot towel (or towels) they took out. They had a partner parking garage. The staff told me the rate was $9 for 12 hrs. I paid $15 in that garage for a few hours. I was told not to park in the hotel's handicap parking; but other people did.
Value for money. It is clean and does have limited parking.

A cold room because of offensive odour of urine from heat / a.c. apparatus. Staff did not offer but i asked for portable heater which that then provided whcih was excellent on their part. Look into why when the heat is activated it emits a urine like odour. Thanks again
A heat apparatus that does not smell like urine. Thanks.
