I can't really report anything I didn't like. We stayed such a short time. If we'd been there longer, things may have come up. There was not a refrigerator or microwave in the room, which was not a problem for us, but if you were wanting to stay longer and keep some snacks, or if you didn't want to have to carry a cooler like we did, that might be important. But, for our purposes, this was really a great place and we had a very pleasant stay.
You never know what you are walking into when you book a hotel online. I chose the Best Western in Branson West because of its proximity to Silver Dollar City, and because it allowed us to avoid driving into Branson. But what we found was a very pleasant surprise. (Especially compared to our experience at a different hotel last year) We found this hotel to have an exceptional desk manager who was courteous and friendly. The outside entrance and the lobby were beautifully decorated for Christmas. The room was clean and inviting with a lovely view of the woods behind the hotel. The beds and pillows were extremely comfortable, and that is a big deal for me as I have fibromyalgia. The breakfast room was also decorated really cute and the food was delicious. The large windows at the back of the room allowed you to look out over a wooded ravine while you ate. Honestly, I really hated having to leave after only getting to stay here for one night. This is where I will stay from now on when my best friend and I make our annual Christmas visit to Silver Dollar City, or any other time I need to stay in the Branson area for that matter.
