Very Cheap, but you get what you pay for.
Very limitted breakfast.
bed, breakfast, location
Clean and well kept. Staff was awesome
The location/area a little run down but best western was great
beds were comfortable
breakfast was terrible.
Comfortable, clean, wonderfully helpful & friendly staff
Location - not a great area at all and would rate them excellent on all aspects except for this, which isn't their fault but a questionable location to put in a nice hotel choice. But it was quiet and very nice and a great value - we will return!
Good value, easy to get in and out, took my late booking, did not harass me for leaving 20 minutes past checkout. Price good.
My room had a lot of dust on all the furniture, night stands and headboard Have pictures if needed, most would not notice in the daylight but I happened to catch it with my flashlight. Breakfast was minimal, not attended, could have been a bit better for continental
value, location, clean
The room is comfortable, with refrigerator and conditional air. The bad is big and confortable. The hotel has a private free parking,
The breakfast ends at 9 o'clock, a little too early.
The bed was big soft clean and comfortable! Room was extra quiet despite being near the ice machine, I thought oh no at first because of experiences at other hotels, but the room was quiet as could be. Waffles for breakfast, and a nice helpful staff.
We were lucky to grab a single parking place, if not double parking. Not a big deal they know what they are doing.
The location is scary. A homeless man had a drug/health issue requiring an ambulance during my stay.
Office staff were great and the beds were comfortable. Room was a decent size and quiet. Breakfast was great and free parking very convenient.
The free wi-fi wasn't very good.
Excellent place to stay
Not in the best part of town, we didn't venture out at night, so we can't tell you if it was really unsafe. Just not plain old small town life as we are used to.
close to the bus stop
Good cleanliness and location. Valued for money.
Problems occur sometimes on WiFi.
Clean rooms, free parking, close to universal, value for money
Small rooms, breakfast
Polite staff. Clean room.
Plastic under the sheets makes sense for cleanliness but needs another layer before sheets. Noise every time you change positions. Makes you feel sweaty.
Short drive away from LA attractions, very close to movie studios, free parking, decent rooms
Wi-Fi was a bit slow, otherwise not much to add!
V. Good hotel with easy access to Hollywood by car.
Location, updated decor, breakfast bar. Overall a great stay.
The room smelled like a hospital room. I'm sure it was due to the cleaning products used. I am really glad to know the room was clean, but the smell took away some of the comfort. The stacked parking was not the best either. I wasn't crazy about leaving my key at the front desk and realizing a stranger moved my car during the night.
Very close to universal studios.
They need a laundry facility on site. Not in the best area and to be told to go across the street to do my laundry. Not a very good selection breakfast wise compared to other best westerns that I have stayed at. Small parking garage. The doors in our rooms at times where hard to open and we had to push them really hard just to open them.
The rooms were clean, beds were comfortable and the selection for breakfast was pretty good too. My sister and I stayed here for one night as part of a California road trip but would have been happy to stay longer. The staff were very helpful and friendly. I was a little nervous because some reviews pointed out that this is not a very good area, however we felt perfectly safe walking around.
There are limited parking spaces so customers have to double park a lot (it was a little bit like car-Tetris). It wasn't a massive inconvenience though and the staff were very helpful with moving cars around to help people leave in the morning.
Nothing good to say about this hotel
First of all the location is not disclosed properly. It is located in a old residential / work area and the surroundings in not nice at all!!!!!!!! We couldn't sleep all night as the police, fire and ambulance sirens were going on at different times in the night, at least four different occasions. The air condition unit was blowing foul and dirty air. There was tiny little soap packets with two thin bath towels to use in the bathroom. my wife and daughter didn't even take a bath or shower due to our dismay of the hotel. We have stayed a several Bestwestern hotels in northern California and have had better and exceptional rooms and a pleasant experience. I would recommend others to stay at a Hilton or Marriot, where you pay a bit more but have a five star experience.
Comfy bed, quiet, breakfast was good
Stacked parking, dirty shower, short extension on hair dryer
The staff were incredibly friendly. Free parking is available on site as well as free wifi and a complimentary free breakfast. The room was clean and comfy, and only about 15-20 minute drive from Universal Studios. The price was good value for money.
The location is not the best. The description of the hotel on this site states that Universal Studios is just minutes away. However we caught the bus (they run every 15 mins and stops right outside hotel) and it took at least 20 minutes to get there, and we then had to connect to a shuttle bus into the park. The bus ride was an experience! I didn't feel very safe so would recommend getting a cab ($25) or driving there.
Hot breakfast, easy parking
