very quiet and close to capital reef park.
t.v. reception not very good.
Received a room upgrade, it was great. Wonderful view, close to capital reef.
Close to national park, clean convenient nice scenic view from the room.
Good clean modern room with all the usual facilities.
There's nothing to do at night in Panamint Springs other than watch TV!
weird laid out room, very unfriendly staff, coats or previous occupant left in closet, not one tree or plant on the property, would not go back there, certainly not a resort!
Infrastructure, location is great as it is close to the National Park visitor center.
Room was very clean and tidy, quiet, the views outside the balconies are astounding and dramatic, very reasonably priced, the staff were helpful and friendly. The location was as close to the park as you could get without being inside the park! In off season, many of the motels close down, so it is fortunate that this place remains open all year round. And it's a really good place as well, so as i said, it's a no-brainer choice.
Not too many options for places to eat, which is not the fault of the motel. Other than that, nothing at all I can think of.
We were using this hotel as an overnight stopover and for this it was ideal. Room was a good size with a living area as well as bedroom. Pizza restaurant across the road was just what we needed after a long drive.
Our satnav struggled to find it.
view on the mountains clean bathroom nice room other restaurants close to hotel
creepy man at the breakfast restaurant no breakfast included
Location Restaurant Room view and size Bath
This room has a lot of potential because of its size. But the construction leaves much to be desired. Example, the entrance door fit so poorly there was light and air coming through on all sides- a 3/8 inch crack on the opening side. The lights are so dim one could not read. A nice easy chair had no light at all. The table and chairs were located where they could not be used without moving them to the center of the room. The bath had no bar soap. And finally, there was no microwave; even all the cheapest motel rooms in the US have a microwave and refrigerator. They brought me one at my request.
The location and facilities were excellent. The morning view from the deck of our first floor room was beautiful and absolutely breath taking. The hotel manager was very nice and helpful.
We really did not have any complaints other than the lady at the front desk on the evening that we checked in was trying to classify our certified medical alert service dog as a "pet" and put us into a "pet" designated room. That wasn't so much the issue as her arguing with us about her "knowledge" of ADA compliance law which she clearly did not have. Service dogs are NEVER classified as "Pets." After speaking with her manager, she did apologize to us and we were given the room that we were originally booked in. On our first night there, we also had dinner at the onsite restaurant. The service in the restaurant was very poor. The server was not responsive to our requests and it finally took asking the manager of the restaurant to get cream for my husband's coffee after we had already asked the server 3 times. The next morning, we saw this server doing some other hotel related duties, so restaurant service was probably not her regular job as it certainly appeared that she did not have the personality or the skills required to keep customers happy.
The location is amazing.
The interior in the rooms could be updated.
Watching the change of light on the Reef from the balcony.
The room was great comfortable quiet and spotless clean...bed was super comfortable and the view from our balcony breathtakingly pictuesque. Cant wait to come back.
Get a view room, it is so great to watch the sun rise and set on the red cliffs from your balcony. Laundry room was clean, room was very comfortable.
room was big, very nice, comfortable, clean, updated, and quiet. great location very close to the national park.
Very friendly staff Family-run casual atmosphere Beautiful location Incredible views Nice hot tub
I had an awful cold and chef prepared special homemade chicken soup for me! Who does that in restaurants in National Parks? Really appreciated and did feel better the next day! Room had all anyone would need and great bed.
Accommodation is good. The Asian cuisine is excellent and good value.
The restaurant lacks ambience. The lighting is too bright and wine is not available. Setting of tables needs improvement. If this was addressed it could be a very good dining experience.
Clean. 15 minutes to Cassidy Arch even less to the visitor's center.
No breakfast, fridge, or microwave and slow Wifi
This property is the closest to the park and therefore very convenient. We had a king room with balcony and a pleasant outlook. Breakfast was good.
The evening meal in the restaurant was limited, but there are plenty of eating places nearby.
Loved the views and location. Rooms were clean and updated. Beds were very comfortable with lots of pillows. Restaurant on site served a great breakfast to order.
Television reception was poor. It was the most expensive hotel in the area and did not include breakfast when some of the comparable hotels included breakfast and were $20 less per night.
This was in a good location. Recommend eating at the site since we ate at the local burger place which was awful..."Slackers" was the name...avoid. Nice pool
Just that the backyard had alot of mule poop in the grass so you could not really walk around.
Wonderful setting with stunning views if you are lucky enough to get a room with a view of the magnificent red rock cliffs. Great rooms, comfortable and clean. I enjoyed one of the best steak's I have ever had in the motel restaurant.
