Ugly neighbourhood, but whitin walking distance to the national mall and capitol

Noisy room, as the hotel is next to a busy highway. Not very stylish rooms

As much as room cost parking in hotel basement shouldn't cost $30 a day. Booked a king sized room but only had ou le upon check in. Wouldn't have king for 24-48 hours then offered no apology or discount at all.

Amazing location for the price. Vending machines available. Friendly staff. Brand new TV, free wifi. I would definitely stay here again.

Close to major city attractions. Price per room acceptable compare with other options.Staff very helpfull and with a smile.

The staff was amazing - all of them! Their knowledge of the area and how to get around, as weel as trhe free shuttle they offer - made our trip very enjoyable. Being located only a few blocks from the Mall and the Metro, made it very convenient to get to whatever we needed.

It would be nice if they included a microwave and refrigerator in the room. We opted to bring our own microwave instead.

Nice room size, good location-once you realize you're 5 min walk from green subway, you'll be in the center in a blink!

Pretty good location to Capitol Building, and the National Mall. Close to the Nationals baseball stadium. Good location to get to the wharf area, and the Lincoln Memorial and the War Memorials.

Close to large fire department - many sirens & big fire engine horns.

room and staff was nice. i can walk from there to US Capital in 25 mins. Also close to metro (10 mins walk).

Rooms are very clean,bed very comfortable and water always hot.

Not always easy to catch a cab at the front door.

We really liked the location, it was just a few blocks from U.S.Capitol building. You can easily walk from National Mall. Although we made our reservation with a very regular price, they gave us a big room, which also includes a living room. We can recommend to everyone.

I was pleasantly surprised about everything about this hotel as I had read some really really bad reviews before I visited dc. 1) The hotel is about 10 minutes from Reagan National 2) the taxi from Reagan National cost me about 6 dollars 3) the hotel is about a 20 minute walk from the Capitol building and all of the other sites in DC 4) the front desk personnel were incredibly friendly, welcoming and helpful 5) I had a very large room which had a view of the Capitol building from my window 6) the room was exceptionally clean and was ready for me when I arrived at the hotel even though I arrived before the regular check in time 7) there is a small retail store/gift shop in the hotel where I was able to get drinks and small snacks 8) the hotel felt very safe 9) it was much cheaper than almost any other hotel that I looked at in DC (that was a nice hotel) and in a wonderful location Actually I really loved this hotel and would stay in this hotel again in a second

The only thing that I can say that I would have liked the hotel to have that it didn't have was room service. It did not have room service and the only place to eat close to the hotel is a McDonalds. Other than this one issue, I really loved this hotel

The hotel was nice. It was a good value. The parking was really convenient and the metro was close by. The breakfast that was offered for a price looked good. It is also right across the street from McDonald'S.

The hotel was located farther away from tourist attractions.

The resturant in hotel was awful. The staff very unorganized we waited 45 minutes for salad then get 1 plate if food it was cold while the other plate still was not cooked yet. Staff uncaring about inconvince and offered no compensation. Will never stay there again!

The room was beautiful. The bed was very comfortable.

I didn't like that the shuttle wouldn't make a return trip.

I liked the staff, friendly service. The decor was nice, and I enjoyed my room. I was a little close to the expressway, but I enjoyed the sounds of the city. The houskeeping staff, was wonderful, and I would stay there again. I would just pack a little "to go" coffee pot.

I did NOT like the fact that there was NO coffee pot in the room. I did NOT like the fact that I had to "ask" for hot water, that was supposed to be available in the lobby. I went to the bar, and breakfast area, and had to pay an additional 1.50 for an empty cup. I also, did not like the breakfast set up. It was unclean, and I had to bus my own table in order to sit down. I also did not like that there was no HAIR CONDITIONER.........they provided shampoo, and right next to it, body lotion. As I am NOt in the habit of wearing my glasses into the shower, I "conditioned" my head with lotion! Be warned. LOL

The Hotel Restaurant was pretty bad. Good service but terrible food.

We had a very big room, big tv screen. It was warm and very comfortable!

The girl at the check in wasn't really nice. Plus they charge you 50 dollars extra as a deposit, on your credit card! It takes 10 business days to have them back! They do not inform you about this, so if you don't have money in your bank account you can't stay! Ridiculous!

Room was nice, no complaints

Tv had limited channels, not in hd No coffee maker. But worse was no food on site for dinner! That was not noted on the web site when I made reservations. I made resevations at your facility because it said it had dining facilities. I was there for a week and I did not like that I needed to go out and find food every night. I didn't have a car, so I was extremly limited to basically junk food. I do not eat Junk food! Very disturbing to me.

There was 3 Things that I liked about the Hotel. The desk clerk Beretta and the bar tender Sylvia. I could have stayed under a rock and these 2 would have made my stay equivalent to royalty, Thank you! Oh and location!

Insultingly overpriced, the toilet was broken when we arrived and there was no maintainence to service until the next morning. I asked for a plunger and was told they did not have one. I had to use plastic bags to line the toilet bowl and dump them each time we used it for over 8 hours! Sirens were blaring all night long with no break and less than 15 minutes in between incidents. There was a 14% room tax added to the already overinflated cost!

The staff was very friendly and helpful proximity to the capitol nightly rate considering it was inauguration weekend

The halls smelled. The decor was pretty old. Housekeeping didnt replenish soap/shampoo keys demagnitized often parking was too expensive pool looked very dirty, granted it was closed for the season but it should have been covered. It ws green and full of debris.
