Staff was extremely friendly, room was spacious and well decorated.

Breakfast is served across the street, parking is expensive and tight.

The rooms are big and nice really good value for your money.

Location is very central but surrounded by homeless people at night it gets sketchy and the last night I stayed there there was a shooting in front of the hotel.

Cozy rooms in a nice old fashioned style, beautiful.

Internet connection was absolutely awful, told it twice like other guests, too. Got the hint to use the access of the Good Hotel and BW Americania, but did not receive their wifi in our room. Breakfast was small, we were told that we could buy a real breakfast in the BW Americania. Ice machine on our level (4th) was extrem loud. A fridge in the room would have been very nice.

The staff were super friendly and helpfull. The rooms were clean and comfortable and good value for money. If I ever come back to San Francisco then I will always stay at the Carriage Inn.

The room was very comfortable and quiet. Convenient to public transportation, with a bart station nearby.

Wi-fi service was spotty. Breakfast was very carb-heavy, with too many sweet and low fat items. A hard-boiled egg or full fat unsweetened yogurt would have been welcome. Also, there are no refrigerators or microwaves in the rooms.

Pleasant and friendly staff, clean and spacious room with all the essentials. Good value for money. Would definitely stay there again.

The hotel staff is really courteous, and breakfast was filling. The rooms are well decorated.

The hotel is safe, but the surroundings aren't the best and I felt a little scared to venture up on market street.

Location was great, not too far from Downtown.

It's overpriced. No restaurant at the hotel, and one has to make a special trip elsewhere to grab a bite to eat.

The hotel was clean with a large room with good facilities. The location might seem a bit iffy at first sight, just off Market street on 7th, but turned out better than expected. Some caution must be applied at night with strange characters wandering around, particularly on Market street. Having said that, it not as bad as the Tenderloin area. Gay folk might also find this hotel a nice location with Folsom street nearby, which also has many bars and interesting eateries in the immediate neighbourhood. Parking space is beneath the hotel.

Like many Best Western locations, the hotel is a bit "impersonal" : you get a room and faciliites and parking space, but that is about it.

The room itself was cleverly set up and the bed was comfortable.

The included breakfast was terrible and the neighborhood dreadful and dangerous. The whole experience was too menacing for such a pleasant city like SF.

Two minor issues. 1. You have dropped the evening sherry - it's been awhile, but I always enjoyed it and it gave a bit of class. 2. I don't think the breakfast next door is worth the extra money. We can always go there anyway and there are other places - I enjoy the SOMA Cafe for example.

Quarto grande e cama confortável. A maior parte dos funcionários são simpaticos e prestativos.

Localização. Próximo do Moscone Center e da Union Square, mas haviam muitos pedintes nas redondezas.

Stanze arredate in modo piacevole e particolare. Stanza pulita, servizio cordiale . Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo (almeno per l'offerta che sono riuscito a prendere io)

L'hotel non ha una sala colazione . Per fare colazione bisogna andare au un bar a 100 metri ..... Bisogna prepararsi prima

Al nostro arrivo la camera non era pronta, ma ci hanno dato un'altra stanza di categoria superiore. Pulizia discreta.

I liked that it is the last stop for an airport shuttle befor leaving SF for SFO.

The desk clerk, Mina, gave us good advice on what tours to take.

The band width on the internet was extremely slow and made using the internet virtually impossible for any type of viewing or surfing.

It is friendly and well renovated and used to be a very comfortable stay. I have stayed there many times over the years and have always like it. This is the first time I have run into issues - see below.

Hopefully you want to hear the truth. Here is what went wrong on my stay: 1) The "broadband Internet" was so slow that I could not even send a simple email much of the time. This caused huge business problems for me. I ran the standard www.speedtest.net and it could not register any speed at all. Internet is critical these days. 2) You are now turning off the airconditioning in the middle of the night and the rooms get very hot. There is no air flow at all. I would go to bed comfortable but wake up in a sweat at 3 or 4am. 3) When I went to the bathroom in the middle of the night, your new automatic lights turn on and jar me awake - makes it hard to go back to sleep. They should be disabled at night. These are all changes made by the new management. Try sleeping in the room yourself to see how it is working.

I didn't like the location which is quite dodgy during the evening. Moreover I asked them to call a cab to the airport for me and they called a driver that charged me 60 dollars (in low traffic)!
