Friemdly lady attending breakfast room...

Smells really bad none smoke room. Lots of trafic all night!!!

Its convenient location and its free parking!!

The female front counter clerk was rather abrupt when I call the front desk to ask for a late check out. All she said was "NO" when I asked. There is a better way to respond to a customer. Like, "Sir, I really wish we could accomodate your request, but we have guests coming in for your room."

The staff was great. Everyone was nice My stay was pleasant and I would stay there again.

I have no complaints.... Maybe a better variety for free breakfast?

The accessibility of local venues, attractions and restaurants. I do have to say, the lady that was responsible for the breakfast room was fabulous. Welcoming smile and attentive to all customers' needs/questions.

The staff from 5/18 afternoon shift was not friendly. Felt as though I was an inconvenience to him for checking in. on check-out 5/19 morning shift, she was a bit more pleasant but still not to my standards of friendly, accommodating customer service.

Lady in breakfast room sure could use some smile and friendly manners. Wasn't that good of place to stay. Over rated.

The noise...

The Civic Center Motor Inn in San Francisco is a simple no frills motor lodge in a good location. It's clean, well maintained and comfortable, it's also a bargain. And with free wifi and breakfast what more could you want in a cheap motel. You could stay in a lot worse for a lot more. I'm local and use this motel for guests, clients and sometimes as an auxiliary crash pad. Never a bad room, never a complaint.

Had to stay in a smoking room once due to availability. Was fine and clean but as a non-smoker you can still tell the difference. This wouldn't be any different in any other hotel so I don't consider it a negative mark.

Large room, decent bathroom.

Fair bit of noise from the road. Area is a bit sketchy at night.

Nothing it was disgusting.

Reserved 2 non-smoking rooms but got smoking rooms that smelled so bad it made us sick. Got propositioned by a prostitute on the way to the room. Neighborhood is like Skid Row.

Total rip off. This room should be $69, we payed $269, breakfast should be called "continental" (all starch), no eggs, no protein whatsoever, ugly area, not close to public transpo, cabs expensive, would never stay here again.

Nothing. I live in sf and this is my favorite place to stay when I need a respite from my crowded apartment sharing lifestyle. All the comforts of home with none of the intrusions.

Staff was super friendly, good breakfast and free parking! Plus it was close to where I was going (concert). The walls are a little thin and it's a bit noisy but its the middle of the city so what do you expect?

Noisy.

The breakfast is getting worse every year. I stayed in this hotel for the last four years in january and the breakfast serves very little proteins and stop serving muffins and other itens.

It has a good location, close to move easy to came in and out by car Breakfast is nice (continental), but good Parking in lot available.

Friendly, helpful staff. Free parking. Breakfast adequate, good coffee.Bed comfortable. Good room amenities. Easy driving access. Short cab ride to downtown areas.

Couch old with a very saggy cushion. Not the greatest part of town, altho we walked most places during the day.

Our room had only one bed instead of two. Staff was not really helpfull and the first night two of us had to sleep on a couch which wasn't really clean. The next the day the staff was a lot friendlier and we could change the room. Bad neighborhood. A lot of homeless people. Would not want to walk there alone.
