Room was clean, sufficient for one or two people
Frigid breeze blew in around the heater unit due to lack of caulking. It took one whole day for the room to warm up.
It's close to Javits Convention Center (closest hotel) The location is relatively convenient to eateries and public transport Room was fairly clean
You need to call front desk for amenities like toothbrush and others The Wifi was dismal, connection was slow, at times disconnecting, even loading a YouTube video at minimal resolution settings was lagging.
# Location - Proximity to JJ center - 5 minute walk to expo center # Parking - A offsite parking facility right next door - albeit pricey # Easy access to Lincoln tunnel in/out - If driving in # Hotel staff are very friendly and courteous. Their cheerful attitude makes up for any of the -ve's
# Hotel's location is in an auto repair alley, in front of big auto repair center - just unsightly but no noise or any other inconvenience. # Hotel right up and over a railway line - Amtrak's rumbling in and out at odd hours with horns blaring - May be a bit inconvenient if you are a light sleeper # No onsite restaurant - but light breakfast is served in the morning
The staff very frindly and helpful. The location was near by all my needs.the preakfa was excellent.
Very small room.
Beds were super comfortable, nice continental breakfast included in price which had scrambled eggs, waffle maker, toast, muffins, pastries, fruit, etc. We walked everywhere. Close to Empire State Building, Hudson River. 10 mins walk to Times Square.
Close to train line which runs under hotel. It didn't bother us but sounds horn at 07.20 every morning which is very loud.
Proximity to the Javits Center Bag holding even after check out
Price for size of room
Entire place is small, Stayed at a Hilton Garden Inn the night before, much more for less moola.
Staff was very nice and helpful during our stay.
Rooms were very small and quite a lot of street noise - air conditioner was an option but also noisy.
Wifi works pretty good. Location wise fine.
Double beds are not really double beds, more like 1,2 beds. Breakfast was poor, very poor.
Easy check-in. Comfortable stay. Clean room. Wi-Fi worked well. Could store my luggage for a day at nominal cost. Centrally located. Good breakfast.
Room too small.
Location very central.
taxi Garage exactly in front of hotel - downgrades the area as industrial.
Best Western convention center hotel is located very close to many attractions. Staff was courteous, friendly. Breakfast was good. The rooms are small but that's okay considering we were there for leisure.
The rooms were small.
Staff was very friendly specially Robert and Julio were excellent. Rooms were clean and beds comfortable
More variety in breakfast, like some sausage and scrambled eggs would be much better.
Excellent proximity to the Javits Center. Since we would only actually be in the room to sleep and shower, one night, a lot of other things I would usually look for were unimportant. We asked to change rooms first time because of an "previous visitor" odor they were airing out. They complied quickly and graciously. Our room was very clean. Included breakfast had a good variety. Room cost was good for NYC. Walking distance to some of the greatest variety of restaurants in the world :)
Not everyone wants to bring the lap top. The "community" computer in the lobby was pretty much taken over by what seemed to be an employee playing games. Not a deal breaker though at all. Location where, coming from Javits, you have to walk past where many carriage horses are kept. The urine and hay smell, not so nice. Also very sad for the horses.
Shower, aircon. Breakfast
Duvet in room dirty. Linen looked grubby. Hotel appeared eary
This facility is close to the Convention Center and is very professionally managed.
Some more Variety for Vegetarian or Indian Meal while buffet Breakfast...
Strange neighborhood. A couple of streets off the busy streets.
We liked the location for our needs...walking distance to piers on Hudson River for dinner cruise and sunset tour cruise. Front desk clerk "Quinn" very nice & helpful.
Entrance lobby was a bit dreary.
Nice choice for Breakfast and the rooms were clean and tidy
The room with twin double bed was very small, very difficult to walk around without getting in someone else's way!
Lack of facilities A little far from main area
The staff were great. Mike was particularly amazing. Travelling alone in my first visit to New York, he made sure he helped me to plan my day every day with directions and maps and even walked me out of the hotel everyday to point me in the right direction. On my last day, he even rang my room to make sure I was up in time for my airport shuttle! The whole team including Marcy and the other lady at the front desk were absolutely fantastic! The room though not very big was spacious enough and always very clean. The bed was ver comfortable though the pillows could be better. The shower pressure and hot water were perfect.
The smell of pee at the hotel entrance :-(
Close to time square etc Comfy beds! Best resturant just round the corner
Small rooms Right outside is taxi machanic so was very noisy at night
area has so many homeless , scarly for women
