Best Western Convention Center  

The staff were friendly and very helpful at all times and the breakfast was good for a continental. It was also surprisingly quiet at night time despite the railway track being so close.

The room was very small and outdated. The location was a little bit far from Times Square and the main shopping area.I Was also surprised to see the hotel rated as 3.05star. It would certainly not get that rating at home in Ireland, but I suppose in New York it would be considered reasonably priced.

Although a little far out, located close to Times Square etc. Not too expensive, but that's it - you get what you pay for :)

Bathroom in room was clean, all the rest was kind of covered in grease and dust. Reception desk/lobby extremely greasy/dusty, which made for a very yucky first impression when checking in.

Perfect location if you arrive in Penn Station / if you travel by Megabus (for the latest one, the bus stop is almost around the corner)

Very thin walls, train just outside the hotel - virtually impossible to sleep. Very fat breakfast.

Cleanliness of the common areas was doubtful. Continental breakfast is included but they ran out of many things during the weekend. The restaurant is very small and there were no sufficient tables for the guests.

The Staff, they were really friendly and helpfull in all aspects. Especially the senior lady in charge on the reception (sorry I didn't ask her name). Her knowledge, helpfulness and professionalism with attention to detail really was exceptional at all times. We couldn't have asked for any better. Quite well situated within short walking distance to the west side Midtown piers and attractions on the Hudson. also not too a far to walk to the center of mid town (Times Square etc) for all attractions and subway stations to all other areas.

The location - it felt to be a run down area, however, it does seem to be under going re-building not too far away, so in a few years time hopefully this area will be up and coming. The Hotel it's self is rather dated and tired through out, from fixtures to fittings, well over due for a total refit.

we never had a so bad check in in my life... unfriendly staff and no welcome words... very small room with 70/80's furniture. This hotel needs a clear renovation. Breakfast room is basic and breakfast meal is average. check out was OK but they asked 1 dollars to keep one luggage for the day : unacceptable when you have to pay 200 dollars per night in a very basic room.

No noise. Very clean. Great wi-fi net. Very close to the Javits Convenion Center.

The room 703 is to small to have a king-size bed. You can easily tell that the room was prepared to a much smaller bed! The breakfast has few diversity, after 7 days is hard to chose something different to eat.

Unfriendly staff, breakfast was not served until 10 am as promised, really slow elevator and a one dollar charge to keep your luggage on the day of departure (without any help on carrying it) The worst hotel i have visited in whole my life

Lobby is small and not classy at all, service is horrible (they sound so bored that even my dead grandma has better face expressions), room is small, VERY small. Room looked like it was built in the 80, looked ghetto. Nothing impressed me at all, huge disappointment.

Couldn't have been a better deal for the price. The rooms were clean and nice, the hotel was very quiet even in the middle of the city.

It is really located in one of the best parts of Manhattan, although the 38th street is not that luxury among the others nearby, but still you have a nice scenery from 5th floor and higher. Easy to reach the western river-side. nice when you wanna use the cruise there. Too close to Broadway, Times Square, etc.

The rooms were little small. The breakfast was not that much satisfying.

That was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on! The staff was so friendly and the front desk agents were so helpful! Excellent stay!
