Best Western Crystal Palace  

Convenient location, good hearty breakfast with good service

Would have preferred King bed rather than two doubles

The room had good amenities. Close to the freeway. Overall the room was quiet, bed was comfortable.

The carpet in room 290 was filthy turning my white socks and barefeet black. The hotel did not have my reservation in their computer, had I not had my confirmation letter would not have gotten a room. I booked a smoking room and one was not available.

The grounds are well tended. The staff are friendly. The beds are comfortable. My husband, being from Bakersfield and loving the Buck Owens memories likes to stay at the cp, but it gets worse everytime we stay and will not return after this time.

The front desk staff are inept and rude. The ice machines are never all in working order, and I have to wander from one to another to find one that works. The tubs fill to ankle depth or higher when showering. The pool and/or spa are always closed down.

Buck Owens Chrystal palace in walking distance (Country music, restaurant, dancing)

Having an elderly handicapped person, we were given an upstairs room on the far back side of the hotel. There were no elevators. The room was hot and the second queen bed was pushed up against the barely functioning ac unit so that proper air flow to the unit was impossible. At our 11:00 PM arrival, the outside grounds were bug infested. There was only one functioning ice machine located completely across the courtyard from our room. At 11:30 PM, I contacted the Best Western Hill House in Bakersfield that was five minutes away. They were able to accommodate our handicapped situation and we were given a ground level room that was very comfortable, clean, and up to Best Western standards.

No elevator was the only little problem when you do not stay on ground floor, you have carry your luggage up the stairs...

It was berry nosey at night time because of the pool and jacuzzi users. And the mates was terrible - way too soft! I didn't sleep a wink because of the noise and mattress! My back was killing me and I was exhausted and had to drive 8 hours that day. In addition, the bathtub drain didn't drain properly so taking a shower was like taking a bath! I almost slipped in it which would have been a nasty fall! I would have been calling my lawyer had that happened! Overall, bad experience. Will think twice before booking a Best Western again.

This is a very nicely designed motel with a large well kept tropical courtyard-- not all rooms equal-- get one overlooking courtyard preferably on 2nd floor. Good breakfast. Good value for money. Good place to break a trip.

They were very friendly and helpfully in the front desk.

Op doorreis. Goed hotel met heerlijk zwembad. Hadden een parterrekamer aan de tuin/zwembad en zitje buiten. Matig ontbijt. Ruime kamer met alle voorzieningen. Niet in het centrum wel enkele resto's (The Hunter aanbevolen) in de loopomgeving.

Das Hotel war günstig und bot zwei große King Size Betten. Das Badezimmer war sauber.

Wir haben aufgrund eines Buchungsfehlers leider nur ein Raucherzimmer bekommen. Jedoch entspricht der Zustand des Zimmers wahrscheinlich dem der übrigen Zimmer. Die Einrichtung wirkte sehr abgenutzt und die Raufaser-Decke war vollgesogen mit Staub. Zusammen mit dem abgewetzten Teppich, der auch einige unschöne Flecken aufwies war dies definitiv das schlechteste unserer 10 Unterkünftge auf der gesamten Rundreise.

Colazione ok, in un diner tipico adiacente all'hotel. La piscina e' piacevole.

Sporco, abbiamo trovato un preservativo usato dietro un comodino, staff poco cordiale, impreparato. In linea con le ultime esperienze best western. Rapporto qualita' prezzo pessimo, e' praticamente un motel, dei peggiori

La nevera en la habitación y el desayuno. El resto era la típica habitación con 2 camas grandes, agradables y perfectas para una noche en ruta.

Todo fue positivo en relación calidad precio.

Struttura molto accogliente, ben tenuta, camere molto pulite e confortevoli. Bellissima la piscina e l'idromassaggio appena fuori dalla stanza. Discreta la colazione Ottima soluzione per non spendere tanto ma avere buona qualità.

Il parcheggio e la simpatia al bar e perché no, l'omonimo locale country a fianco dell'hotel, veramente caratteristico.

A parte la piscina il resto è meglio dimenticarlo !!! Ragnatele con ragni residenti e sporcizia ovunque. Hotel solo per fermarsi a dormire rimanendo vestiti.
