Clean rooms. Decent breakfast.
We stay at motels to sleep. That's it. We rented a King Room. The bed was worn out. A dip in the middle. Other than that the place was great.
Room was clean, all staff were very helpful and friendly. We would definitely go back. Great value.
The breakfast wasn't great but it wasn't bad either.
I liked that they had fresh fruit and yogurt offered for the breakfast items.
Easy to get to. If we are down that way again we will stay there.
Roomy bedroom. Clean room and hotel, though a bit dated. Friendly and helpful staff.
Bathroom area was tight. Wifi didn't aways work, had to type in a code but still wasn't secure ( my email wound'nt run because of security issues while on their wifi.) Harder to access the hotel because of the way it's situated, the parking lot was tore up for repair but not done the week we were there. some noise from traffic and other rooms, but not terrible.
the bed and pool area
Pillows & bed very comfortable was quiet and room was very clean
Only 15 tv channels, hard bed,
Cable channels leave a lot to be desire
Comfy beds, hot jacuzzi, nice tv. Best hotel I've stayed at for that price. Would defiantly stay here again!!
There was nothing bad about my hotel stay!
We Loved Lisa, the woman that checked us out of our room.
We stayed at the Deerfield Inn for two days, in celebration of our wedding anniversary. I had made reservations with them prior to getting to Springfield. When we went up to the counter, I could barely make any sense out of what the woman was telling me, her English was very choppy, and she was very soft spoken. After I had signed for the room, they then informed us that the Internet was out. They should have told us that before we signed for our room. When we got up to our room, we watched TV for a little while, only to have the cable keep cutting in and out. It stayed like that all through the first night. I called the desk to ask about it, and I was told there was nothing that could be done about it. In the morning, we took our showers. The bottom of the tub had so many soft points in it, it felt like you would fall through if you stood close to the shower head. After getting out of the shower, we found small black hairs all over the towels, which was disgusting. After dealing with those issues, we went down to breakfast, to find that there weren't any biscuits and gravy, which is something they pride themselves on their site as having. There were waffles, cereal, donuts, and juice. Not very appealing. As we went back to our room, we noticed the maids were cleaning some of the rooms. There were people in the rooms visiting with them, and you could tell they weren't part of the staff. I made sure to take anything valuable with me when we left for the day. As I had made the reservations, and had already signed for my room, I knew if I cancelled my reservations for the next night, we'd be charged for it anyway. So we were stuck, and tried to make the best of it. We went down to their fitness room, as it was advertised on their site to be "New". The treadmill was so out of date, it took 20 minutes working with the power button to get it to turn on. The TV was so old it wouldn't change channels, and the remote was just as bad.
It seemed dated and used.
The hotel staff was exceptionally friendly. The lady at the front desk when I checked in was outstanding at her job wonderful customer service.
The staff was extremely friendly compared to most hotels I have stayed in. Our room was quiet and very spacious. Location on Battlefield Road was perfect for finding our way around.
The pillows were extremely lumpy, mattress was a bit too soft for our preference. Strange smell in shower, but everything looked clean.
Comfortable and clean room. Great water pressure in shower. Quiet.
Did not eat breakfast so cannot comment on it.
Needed more blankets, heater set smoke detector off at first but then worked out.
Very good relaxing atmosphere
The desk lady gave me the wrong room at first. Then gave me new keys and a newroom. Bit didnt tell me i had a new room. She wrote it on my paper but didnt say anything. She apologized and was very nice.
Pool and hot tub were great. Room was very clean and quiet. I appreciated the fact they put couples on the top floor and families on the bottom floor.
Hotel staff using the breakfast room to talk loudly and in Spanish. One worker was making breakfast for her children. Many of us found it rude. We stayed four mornings and it was the same every morning.
Everything. Clean spacious room with a comfortable bed. Very quiet, but it is the off season. Good breakfast. Great staff.
Clara ran the night desk during my two nights stay. She was friendly and welcoming. Clara took an interest in the guests she spoke to and made me feel welcome. The hotel was a good place to stay at a fair price.
Went to breakfast at 9 a.m. Two housekeeping personnel were speaking to the female handling the breakfast counters. The 2 housekeepers were sitting at separate tables by the door. I sat at the other end of the room nearest the TV. They were so loud I could not hear the TV, much less read a newspaper. Another guest and I exchanged glances acknowledging the noise level. So much for the quiet breakfast. On the other hand, I respect the hotel giving their people breakfast as well. ( One of them left with a lot of plastic utensils, 30 or more, I am sure that there must be a need for them in cleaning crevices or something.)
The biscuits and gravy were very good. One of the best we had for breakfast
