Great staff great breakfast. The bedding worries me however.
I stayed there this weekend with my girlfriend. Everything was great except we kept waking up throughout the night. When we woke up we were covered in bug bites. Since there was another bed we thought we would just try that the next night. Setting as there was nothing we could do about the bites already received. However I again found myself awake at 2am by the feeling of something biting me. We spent the rest of the night on the couch watching tv.
Fitted Sheets were stretched out & wouldn't stay on the bed.
Good breakfast & friendly staff. I felt very welcomed. Beautiful, clean grounds & interior.
The room was clean yet had an odor. It smelled like fungus feet. The mattress was horrible. It was lumpy & the sheets were stretch out and kept coming off the mattress.
good location, friendly staff
One of the main reason I chose this hotel over others in the area was because it has an indoor pool, and since we were there to visit a friend of mine who has a small child, I thought a pool would be a great asset for getting together and hanging out. When we arrived we found out that the pool was closed for renovations, and this information was not updated on the website. Also, though the rooms were nicely renovated, the bathroom was done to a poor standard and there was dried soap scum on the soap dish, not to mention the icky grout. The most frustrating thing was that the fitted sheet was too small for the bed, so the minute you laid down the sheet would come off and you had to constantly struggle not to be laying on the bare mattress. A bare, hotel mattress...*shudder* Oh! and another oddity I forgot to mention--the room we had been booked for still had its previous occupants in it! That was a bit awkward.....
