Breakfast selection only fair
I thought the breakfast offered was inadequate for the price of the room.
Very convenient location.
Small and shabby entrance... Poor breakfast...
Nice location. The staff was nice and helpful.
There was no place in our room to hang wet swimsuits or towels.
The location was great. Close to the beach and dining. Parking deck was nice. We parked close to our room and the car didn't sit in the hot sun all day. The room was very clean and the beds were comfortable.
Breakfast wasn't much. Would have liked a little more variety but served it's purpose
Great location, restaurants and beach just steps away
Hotel is in need of a bit of a facelift. Room was great, but common areas are showering wear and tear. Continental breakfast was not great. Ran out of plastic ware & food at peak breakfast time.
Quiet, 3 beds in a room, easy booking, good location, reasonable price, the older staff were professional.
The breakfast area (location of it, & it was cramped) with few choices. Carpeting in hallways felt damp. Would have loved a balcony. The younger staff needs more training to become more professional (though they were nice).
Excellent location and there was a complimentary continental breakfast each morning. Also, 3 beds in the room which was good for a family.
I preface this by saying am admittedly a germaphobe. The first thing i saw when i stepped out of my car was dried vomit on the floor of the parking garage. At that point I was feeling a little gross. The bathroom had an unsanitary feeling...worse than most hotels where I've stayed. Several of the washcloths had hair on them so we decided to buy some towels from the nearby Kmart. The price of the hotel was expensive for the quality of the room. Unfortunately, i guess you can't expect much more out of a beach hotel. You are paying for the location. The beach itself was nice.
Room size was nice, and so was staff
Air conditioning unit was super noisy and when it turned off it was very hot, so needless to say, difficult to sleep. I would like some kind of rebate for my $225 fee for the night!!!!!
close to beach
strange smell, noisy( we had a room at the end of a hall in front of the building) could hear the traffic, poor breakfast selection
Had to use a hose for an outdoor shower. Wifi had little to no connection.
Parking garage at no extra cost. Comfortable beds. Good size room. Close to beach and main road to catch trolley to bars, etc.
Shower curtain did not close well at bottom of shower letting water out to the floor. Hallways could have been cleaner particularly the carpets.
Parking near room
The staff were all extremely helpful. The advice, when we asked, to dine at The Port was a real winner. Though we had to check out at noon, we were welcomed to use the rooftop pool and restrooms as long as we liked. How welcoming! They told us how to get a Parking Permit at the Police station - only $15 for 24 hours. This was, like everything else, in easy walking distance. This hotel is very close to the beach - an ideal location. They have an outdoor shower and hose for guest use. Free, indoor parking is included in the room cost. I'd never been to Dewey Beach, and this hotel was a great introduction.
On a busy Friday morning, the breakfast crowd got ahead of the staff servicing the breakfast area. We found someone who set out the missing items.
We had stayed with you before and were disappointed to see that the view of both the ocean and bay had been blocked by other buildings. We remember being able to see both from the pool
Being on road. Other guests staying up late
Wifi didn't reach room on fourth floor
Continental Breakfast was nice as was the location to the beach. Parking was not an issue and quite convenient.
The hotel was overpriced and the pool was filthy.
very close to the beach. the rooms are very nicely decorated.
Rooms were very clean and décor was updated. Beds were comfortable. Wi-Fi was free and worked perfectly. Parking was free and inside of the hotel. Staff was helpful and accommodating. Turn left out of the lobby and the beach was before you just steps away. Very quiet and laid back beach.
Breakfast, though free, wasn't really great. Packaged muffins and waffles, bagels, toast, yogurt and cereal. Apple or orange juice, hot chocolate packets and coffee. Stairwells from the parking garage were accessible to anyone off the streets.
Loved that there were 3 beds in the room, and still room to move around. As a family of 5 it's hard to find accommodations that allow us to stay in one room.
The wifi wouldn't connect at all.
They clean and keep the room well. location was great especially cause the area was easy to get in and out of.
Staff was a bit frumpy. They need to sharpen up the front desk.
the continental breakfast was not very good. The room that it was in wasn't very clean. No one was there to replenish things and clean up the day I was there.
I loved that the staff was able to move us up to a king room and change to non smoking which was what we wanted, very accommodating!
Room key cards kept not working, was a pain to have to go down to front desk twice to get a new card twice during our one night stay.
